I have stayed at The Rosemary Inn 3 times so far and it is beautiful, clean, relaxing and the food is absolutely incredible. In addition to the mouthwatering breakfasts (don't miss Sinatra Sunday with homemade bagels!) we chose to have dinner here on two of our visits and we were treated to some of the best meals that I have ever had. The innkeepers, Jeanne and Rich are pleasant and accommodating, filled with information about local things to do. They grow much of the food that you'll eat right on the grounds and the gardens are a fun place to check out. I cannot recommend The Rosemary Inn enough, you will thoroughly enjoy your visit. read more

The Rosemary Inn is one of those gems you never forget. The hospitality that Jeanne and Rich provide is so warm and welcoming. It's near impossible to do, but they make you feel at home and on vacation at the same time! The grounds are beautiful with the picturesque lake and the inn itself is designed with such charm. I stayed with a few friends for an engagement party and the whole experience was amazing. I can't rave enough about the food and particularly the breakfast! I'm from NYC (so I know my way around a top notch bagel) and Jeanne's homemade bagels knocked it out of the park. After hearing me swoon over them, she packed us a few complimentary ones for the road. We also got a tour of the garden on the grounds, and I loved the farm to table freshness and sustainability. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. I know I'll be back in the future! read more

There were Fresh baked pumpkin cookies! My fiancé brought me here for my birthday as a surprise. Breakfast was so elegant and fancy. They cater to food allergies, After we checked in we went to a near by resturant called garlic. Then a haunted house and back to the room. My only regret was not having more people with us. Next time I will get a bunch of friends, maybe bring some wine and enjoy the grounds. Best birthday surprise yet. Loved this place. read more

My wife and I stayed here during my friend's wedding. Jeanne is amazing. She very welcoming and gives off so many mom vibes. She is caring, funny and extremely personable. The rooms were stunning. My wife and I stayed in the one with the double showers, I forgot the name. We never went to a bed and breakfast before, but Jeanne set the bar high after our visit. She has a huge yard, several fire pits, and pond, and soo much more. Saving the best for last, her breakfast is to die for. It's several courses and is farm to table. She can cook. I wish you all the best Jeanne and please continue to be the best host ever! read more

I booked my parents at the RoseMary Inn when they were visiting from the West Coast based on the recommendations of some friends. I was impressed! I just spent a tranquil and very enjoyable weekend at The Rosemary Inn. Twenty-four hours in a day had become a myth to me, due to work and home responsibilities compressing time into something unrecognizable. I found it again at the Rosemary Inn, tucked away in the smell of all the lush green. Resting in the taste of home-made jam that would make my grandmother wink an eye. Facing me in the genuine kindness of Jeanne and her husband, Rich. Jeanne made me feel at home in every exchange and accommodation, starting with me needing to check-in and check-out at specific times, to a breakfast that will leave you resting with a smile on your face. The accommodations are spotless, and the acres of land are well manicured. The Rosemary Inn is an elegant example of how a Bed and Breakfast should be appointed and run. Worst stay ever at any b&b ... owner Lady went crazy because we wanted to sit in dining room screaming we had to pay additional 200 dollars as we wanted to invite 2 extra people over beyond the people in our party who rented out all 5 rooms.. in the closet was 5 robes that has the name of the place on it so I decided to put it on to show my friend the lady then started screaming at the top of her lungs how dare I go in her closet so I said I was sorry and I would take it off she told me to keep it I already abused our stay there but kept screaming about it so I said well I will take it off anyway cause it doesn't fit.. she said I was damn right it didn't fit implying I was fat.. then she grabbed it off of me at same time assaulting me.. I just laughed and she kept making crazy comments trying to get me to fight with her .. then at midnight I went to make a k cup coffee and everyone was sitting at the table filling out a marriage license and she the owner came flying through the door saying she had to get up early to make us breakfast and she said she is shutting us down and shut all the lights off as we were sitting at the table.. of course we asked her to stop acting unreasonable and please turn on the lights since we could fall and die in the dark. she went crazy for the third time that day then my daughter and friend was outside talk with me and she came outside harassing us and my son came out and she said something crazy to him and then slammed the door on his leg ..so we ended up having to call police..then she said she didn't mean any of it and pretended to be a saint and said she would leave us alone..so when I woke up at 530 I wanted to make a k cup coffee only to find out she hid all the k cups that was on the k cup tree which was full when I went to bed.. then she was supposed to make breakfast for the morning and she never did we went to my sons wedding and came back and she had police there saying we told her we were going to leave but when we said we didn't say that she then said well we are asking us to leave then.. completely insane the entire thing like she has a split personality... all thru the crazy fits of rage she had, she would come out and talk like she was the nicest lady in the world.. psychotic episodes to say the least.. from a obvious psycho i would say!! I had a wonderful experience at the RoseMary Inn. Rich and Jeanne Baratta whom truly Make You feel like a Family member. From the moment we arrived to the very last moment we left I felt at home. (This is saying a lot For me as I never stay away from home) The hospitality was beyond my expectations! The food couldn't have possibly Been any better and Jeanne catered to my family's dietary needs. She chatted with us hung around with us and made us feel so welcomed, the entire family felt very comfortable staying here and we even discussed coming back for holidays as a family in the future. If your looking for someplace to go that's definitely a home away from home this is the place. Each bedroom has its own great qualities and they are kept very neat and clean. The snack and drink station was also a hit for the late night snack and water runs I needed haha I can't thank these two enough for hosting my family for my wedding this weekend. This was our first stay at the RoseMary Inn, and we were delighted! First and most important, the place is spotless! The common rooms, the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, patio were pristine! No stains, no spots, no dirty grout. Honestly, the place is immaculate! Our hosts, Theo and Elaine, are wonderful, always available but not hovering. We really enjoyed Theo's tales as a teen in Amsterdam. Next, the breakfast was plentiful and scrumptious, huge fruit cocktail and an excellent quiche-like dish with the crust, filled with fresh veggies. I wish I had asked about the coffee, it was the best I've had in years. The grounds are beautifully manicured and the patio overlooking the pond is comfortable and inviting. We booked this inn because our regular inn was unavailable. From now on this is our first choice when we are in the area. It costs a little more and it's worth it. Everything was PERFECT! Thanks, Theo and Elaine for a great weekend getaway! We stayed in the Heiss room, at the top of the stairs. It was quiet, well decorated, comfortable, and had a fantastic shower. Theo (a native of Holland) and his wife are lovely people who have transformed the beautiful farm property into a first class place to stay. The newly renovated house and rooms are absolutely spectacular - we stayed in the Heiss room - a contemporary room with an amazing double shower. Everything is brand new and tastefully decorated. Jeanne greeted us with warmth and accommodated us despite arriving early. She made us feel at home throughout our stay. What a Place! My wife and I just spent one of the best weekends of our lives at this gorgeous and super clean B&B. The surroundings are just beautiful, as is the house and our very comfortable room. But the best feature this place has is the warm hospitality that our host, Jeanie and Rich provided. Made us feel right at home. And by the way, Jeanie can really cook. All ingredients were super fresh, she has a really nice herb farm in the back of the house. And did I mention she can really cook? My children went to Blair Academy and I had no idea where to stay. I stumbled across the Rosemary Inn and what a find it is. This is truly a gem but more importantly I would like to say that the breakfast they serve there is equal to a five-star restaurant. I still think about the crème brûlée French toast, the cottage cheese was just a sprinkle of salt to bring it alive to your pallet, the fresh squeezed juices,. Well everything that they served was magnificently delicious.If you are in the area with your children or at a boarding school or not please be sure to go there and enjoy the wonderful experience. An impromptu escape from the sometimes-hellish city prompted my partner and me (yes, that's correct grammar!) to search for BnB's within a reasonable radius of NYC. Yelp pointed us toward this gem, and after a quick phone call and a reservation, we hopped in the car and onto the freeway. What we found was astounding--serenity, hospitality, impeccable cleanliness, evident attention to detail, and tasteful design. Theo and Elaine were very candid, respectful, and extremely helpful and courteous. Food in the morning was amazing, comfort levels in our room and the common areas were excellent, and service was impeccable. Snacks and coffee & tea were readily available at any time, and the Deerhead Inn (less than 10 minutes away, across the river) provided great live Jazz entertainment the evening we stayed (they serve a decent meal to boot). Serenity within reach was what we were after, and the Rosemary Inn exceeded our expectations in every way possible--a highly recommended, classy, and comfortable establishment all around. read more

They had a cabinet with every sundry you might need and forgot. We loved the steam shower in our room. My Wife and I visited the Rosemary Inn While in the Delaware Water Gap area for a Wedding Shower. We had never been to the area and did substantial research on what was available. From the photos to the presentation of the website I felt that this would be a great place. However, I have been fooled before. Not this time! Leo was very receptive to my first call and was quick to call me back. His prompt replies and warm personality sealed my our choice. The local area people did not even know of this Wonderful place. The website does not do this location justice. The beauty, warmth, serenity, craftsmanship, and attention to detail cannot be captured. The website is only a glimpse of how great this place is. The caretakers are wonderful. Helpful enough and available but giving you plenty of space to just enjoy the place on your own. There are so many small details. The fresh baked cookies every afternoon, the snack kitchen that is open to guests at all times, the light music playing playing in the background, the decor. Both selections of Dark and Milk Chocolate at all times whenever you want. Not that we took huge advantage of these items. It just nice to have all of these small options available to you as included in your stay. The Rooms are truly designed by an architect. Different types of lighting at different levels, huge bath room areas, and one of the largest 6 foot wide and 4 foot deep showers I've seen. The tile work is a marvel. The beds are as comfortable as can be. I particularly love the bath and body products infused by Rosemary. Every time I smell it it reminds me of the place. The breakfast is romantic white linen 5 course meal in a sitting area overlooking the fountain off the patio. I can't remember having a nicer breakfast. Don't forget to ask Leo about the Chocolate Sprinkles. My wife and I truly appreciated the attention to detail that the owners and caretakers of this property have taken. In late May we enjoyed a couples weekend at The Rosemary Inn. The B&B is situated in an ideal location, surrounded by woods, ponds and an abundance of nature. Theo and Elaine are terrific hosts, identifying pleasant excursions in the area for hiking, site seeing and steering us towards wonderful restaurants. The rooms are all decorated differently, each one a tribute to Elaine's decorating skills. And oh so clean! Whether we were in the common areas or our room, the place is spotless. The multiple course breakfasts are outstanding, and delicious. Be sure to experience Elaine's French Toast - it's not to be missed! Coffee is available anytime, along with a variety of soft drinks and snacks...Oh, and the homemade cookies, YUM! Jeanne and Rich are welcoming hosts. The place is stunning (inside/outside). The dining room is warm, the view of the big pond part of the charm, what comes in your plate for breakfast and dinner (should you choose this latest option - it's worth it! BYOB fyi) is homemade 100% and sourced from the best local growers or grown there - greehouse to open/be used anytime soon now, thanks to Rich dedication and hard work. We picked the Laurel room, view of the pond, super big/bubbly bath tub and shower, and you couldn't clean it better so you know.. We brought our pack'n'play and were allowed (after getting Jeanne's approval) to come with our 1 year old daughter. She had a blast, enjoyed Jeanne's company a lot. Definitely a relaxing getaway bed&breakfast. If we are back to snowboard in the poconos or simply to hike nearby, we will be back there :). Thank you Jeanne, thank you Rich. Just spent an awesome day at the Rosemary Inn! The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and meticulously maintained. The hosts, Jeanne & Rich, were warm and friendly and welcomed us into the inn which is beautifully decorated and has lovely views of the pond and rural scenery. It's like something out of a magazine and is a very welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. Jeanne's homemade and wholesome snacks are available at all times. Our room was spotless, modern, well stocked with all necessities,and had a jetted tub which we really loved. Breakfast was a wonderful experience. Jeanne is a top notch cook and served us a large gourmet meal which was to die for. Everything was farm fresh. The cleaning products that are used are all natural and organic. There are hiking trails nearby and a top notch winery in the vicinity, and there are plenty of other things to do in the area as well.
