Whole place sucks. Awful service, bad music, bad drinks, all of the above. Go downtown and not to this shit hole.

The Railyard - Game day. Beautiful day. Think they usually have more people for games but this was supposed to be an off week plus it's 11am.

The hustle and bustle of the crowd in The Railyard is full of excitement and camaraderie. You watch the games on giant screens hung around The Railyard, and each time the Huskers score or make a great play, the crowd erupts and you may get a drink or two splashed on or around you in the hubbub (just part of the fun, get ready to get dirty and stepped on). Speaking of spilled drinks, that is one plus of watching a game at The Railyard vs. in person at the stadium - there are plenty of alcoholic drinks to enjoy, if that's your thing - and plenty of restaurants and bars around for nonalcoholic drinks and snacks too. You don't have to stick to Dr. Pepper and Valentinos here! (Memorial Stadium did recently lift their ban on alcohol sales in the stadium but that won't be in effect for a while, and you will pay an arm and a leg.) My husband actually had his bachelor party at The Railyard, watching a game and then hitting a few nearby bars. He said it was a great way to spend a day with his pals, and would recommend doing that to anyone who's a Husker fan, looking for a more chill bachelor party idea. You can eat at one of The Railyard restaurants with a patio and watch the game on the giant screens that way, or find a spot with your group and stake your claim in the middle of the yard (don't worry, it's concrete, not grass). Whichever way you decide to do it, I definitely say you should catch a game at The Railyard for the unique experience!

When you go in there and order a drink like a whiskey and Coke they charge you for a double which was $17, if you do not tell them I want a single. They automatically charge you for a double. Otherwise, the rail yards is great place, and the best bar in the railyard is Gate 25. Because they do not scam you like ( tanks and the corner bar do)

What a fun place! I…read morecame to Bodega's Alley for the Nebraska Funk & Soul Alliance Benefit/Concert to see Josh Hoyer & Soul Colossal. This was my first time at Bodega's, which I would describe as a bar/small music venue that is laid out in shotgun fashion (long and somewhat skinny from entrance to the back of the building).I was a little worried I was going to feel claustrophobic once people started pouring in for the show. However, there seemed to be plenty of personal space and seating options despite a pretty packed house. There are a few bar stools and very roomy booths, but there is also a lot of standing room. I believe there is also a backroom with some pool tables (I was a little drunk at the point I made it back there...so it is hard to remember) and the bathrooms. So if you want to get out of the crowd, you have a spot to go. I did not see if they had a back patio or outdoor space (I'll update if I find out). The stage is pretty small and located next to the entrance. The sound and lighting were pretty solid (though it was somewhat to hear Josh Hoyer talking at times). The beer options were decent in quality and price. This is not a fancy bar by any means, but I could totally see myself regularly coming here just to hang out and to catch a show. It's a nice local bar that has a lot of interesting shows. I think I f you like Zoo Bar, you'd like Bodega's Alley. They are great complements to each other, and make it easy and fun to go bar or show hopping.

Some owners elevate a business. Others stay out of the way and let the staff shine. This guy somehow found a third option: actively making the place worse. Every interaction felt like he was trying to win an argument nobody was having. The energy shifted so fast I thought somebody had unplugged the karaoke machine and replaced it with a podcast about a fat farm. The craziest part? The bar didn't need him. The staff was doing fine. The customers were having fun. Then he arrived with all the subtlety of a monster truck driving through a farmers market. I've never seen someone work so hard to convince people not to come back. The drinks were decent. The crowd was cool. The owner was the reason this review exists.
