The wait staff was personable and knowledgable. The food was great and they happily tailor the menu to dietary restrictions.

Unfortunately, upon entering the restaurant it took a bit longer than you'd expect for someone to notice or acknowledge us waiting. Once we were seated, it took an additional 20 minutes for someone to finally ask us if we wanted drinks or were ready to order. After that, it took more than 30 minutes to actually get our food. During all of this, no one checked on us, no one refilled waters, or paid us any mind at all. It does seem the staff does treat its regulars well as they are often seen spending a lot of time chatting with clientele. However, this does seem to be at the detriment of the other customers who seem to go overlooked. Nearly an hour after arrival we got our food and it saved the day for this review. The food here is consistently fantastic. However, just because of how long service was taking, we only got entrees and didn't want to risk spending even longer on appetizers and desserts. So, for my meal, I got the crab stuffed salmon. The flavor was excellent though the salmon itself was ever-so-slightly overdone. It sat atop a large bed of (almost too much) risotto. The crab flavor complimented and paired very nicely with the salmon. The restaurant does charge 3.5% for credit card transactions which seems high (especially since NJ state law prohibits businesses from charging more the credit card companies charge them). This is a difficult rating to give, because the service is so lackluster that I normally would give a much lower score, but the quality of the food definitely offsets it. I'd recommend it if you have a lot to talk about with the group you're eating with, and if you don't have any plans afterwards.

My only issue were the wait times. After being seated, it took about 25 minutes to have our order taken, then at least another 30 to get our food. No one refilled our waters. After finishing our meals and asking for the check it took maybe 15 or so to get the bill, another 15 for the guy to take the bill, and another 15 to get our change (we paid cash bc they charge 3.5% for credit cards, which is more than the approximately ~2.6% on average that the restaurant would be charged from most credit card companies). Overall a good restaurant, but plan to spend most of your evening here due to the various wait times

We had a fairly unconventional wedding and they rolled with all of the unusual ideas we had and offered useful suggestions. They did everything they could to help bring our vision to life. They allowed us to show up the day before to set up the hall and get it ready for the wedding. On the day of the event, we were allowed to arrive a couple of hours early to do some last minute preparations and to run through a rehearsal. Once things got rolling, they kept everything going on schedule flawlessly. They frequently checked in with us and made sure we ate something, which would have been easy to forget given all the demands on the bride & groom. Finally, they allowed us to arrive late the following morning to break down our decorations and pack up all of our stuff. They genuinely seemed focused on making sure we had a great experience and that us and all of our guests were happy. I would recommend them without hesitation. Thank you for making such an important day wonderful for us!

Clean, spacious room, very comfortable bed and pillows, quiet, free breakfast, indoor pool, gym, easy free parking, safe neighborhood and restaurants/stores close, reasonable prices, towels very good quality and clean and they have soap bars! I would stay here again. Only things I did not like: --The free breakfast was "Okay" but would have been great if they had Hard Boiled Eggs and higher quality yogurt. They did have oatmeal. Since Covid, it's hard to find a free great breakfast anymore at a hotel. --Got back at 2 AM and the shower only had very hot water! I ran it for 10 minutes and still only HOT-burning HOT! What the problem was is that a new control arm was installed and they they did not test the temperature. I temporarily fixed it by turning the water off and then applying max pressure to the control arm while turning it on so that it would grip the cold control. The shower was now a bit only on the just warm side--not hot but good for one shower--I survived. I would have to change rooms if I was staying another night. --Staff at the front desk is not the friendliness, even by LA Standards, but they get the job done. They just don't seem happy there for whatever reason. I tried to talk them up--they were not interested in even light conversation. Everyone is under financial pressure these days effecting their work attitude. Maybe it was me and they did not want to chat with me--don't know. --No hook or high towel bar to hang up my toiletries bag in the bathroom--I had to hang it in the closet. Wish there were more hooks for efficiency. --No free bottled water and it it costs $4-5 a bottle!! Overall, I would recommend a stay here--just turn the shower on when you get in the room to make sure it works on your temperature. These days everyone is hiring a "Sunday Charlie" to fix things instead of a licensed plumber to save money.
