However, although a non-profit, they heavily overcharge for meals, then rely on mostly volunteer workers to pack and deliver these meals. They abuse and exploit the non-profit tax code for grants, and again, for the sake of profit. Profit is their final goal. Not breaking even, but making a profit off the backs of those who cannot take care of themselves. I believe they truly believe their "no one goes hungry," slogan, however, if it were true, then if you're unable to pay, they wouldn't discontinue your meals and let you go hungry. They would find away to make sure no one in this community goes hungry. When a senior is unable to afford and/or cook their own meals, why would you cut them off? Cruel.

Being she was here in Chicago, there was all sorts of issues and red tape in trying to get her back to her final resting place in Warren. Justin had to go through many phone calls, in fact being he had to be at the funeral home at 2:00 a.m to receive her body so that we could keep her funeral arrangements as planned. Upon our arrival to Warren, Justin met us at the funeral home and took care of everything. His thoughtfulness down to the obituary on the web site of the funeral home was so personalized. Golf stationary in the back ground of her obituary as well as polka music playing as you opened up to view and read. Mom was of Byzantine Catholic Faith and Justin made sure mom had all the proper memorial services while at the funeral home, and at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Justin even stepped in to help worship at the funeral home with us, as many did not know the prayers. To say he went above and beyond would be an understatement. He is an asset to Staton-Borowski funeral home. Thank you for making my mom's final days before her resting place with my father both easy on her family and beautifully and tastefully done.
