I was really excited to visit this salt room. I travel a lot to Orlando and wanted to find a place to visit regularly. The good: The room is great. The spa is very clean and pleasing. The front desk girl was very knowledgeable. The bad: there were 4 of us in the room but two were a couple. This has never been an issue but these 2 talked through the whole time in the room. For me this was a deal breaker. I go to relax and the chatter was very disturbing. When I left I asked the desk person if this was normal and she had no clue. I can't recommend this salt room unless you don't want to relax. Very disappointing because this location was close to my offices and would have been a regular customer. read more

I first checked this place out thanks to a groupon I found for a $20 visit. I have the most awful allergies and I am happy to try anything that offers relief. The staff here is incredibly friendly and explain how everything works. You check in a few minutes before your appointment time. You can make an appointment online or over the phone. Appointments start on the hour. Once you check in you can put your stuff in a locker and put the little booties on your feet. When the room opens find a chair and get comfortable. The walls have salt. The floor is salt and there is salt vapor being released in the room. It is a great place to rest and relax. Your cell phone won't work in the salt room so just disconnect for 45 minutes. I like to bring a magazine. I wish I could say this has been a miracle cure for me, but it hasn't. It definitely helps, and I definitely think it is worth trying, but I think my allergies are almost beyond saving. I still like to come here because I can definitely feel it loosening up some of my congestion, but I've never been able to come in all congested and leave breathing easy. I'm jealous of all the other people I've been in the room with who sound like they are hacking up hairballs. It isn't that easy for me. Oh how I wish it was! So yesterday, I decided to pop in after my dentist appointment. I didn't have an appointment, but they were able to fit me in the next session, which was so awesome. However, I was disappointed to find out that the package I bought had expired. I didn't know there was an expiration date. The person who sold me the 5 session package did not explain that and I was very disappointed to have "lost" a few sessions. I was also super bummed to find out a single session was $45, more than twice what I paid with my groupon and my package. Nonetheless, I stayed because pregnancy mucus is awful and my OB said it was safe, so I wanted a little relief. The other thing that was disappointing was that the person who was with me in the session talked incessantly! I've never had this problem there before, but maybe they should post some suggested behaviors or something? It wasn't as relaxing as I'd hoped. :( Overall, though, the place is really nice. Everyone who works there has been super friendly. If you get a groupon or get a package, it is definitely worth checking out. read more

Half our party drove over from Oviedo, an hour away, to find the doors locked. Nobody is replying via phone or email. read more

The staff is friendly, but they don't use decent business practices. If you buy a package deal and you don't use it within the time they will not refund it. My package included I believe 5 sessions and after coming with my son several times I found that the salt room gave me a headache. I hadn't even used ONE session. Not one. Yes I should've asked for a refund earlier, but when I requested it, I was given the run around and finally asked to email the OWNER who was out of the country. I did, twice, and she never responded. If salt therapy works for you, that's great, I would find a spa elsewhere. They just want your money and don't care to do the right thing after they have it. Super friendly and warm staff! The ladies there make you feel rite at home. When I walked in I was greeted warmly by the two ladies at the front desk. I missed my original appt by 7mins or so, so I was given the option to either go in for the remainder of my time or wait until a new session started. Of course I wanted the full time so I waited until the next session. The place is immaculate! A clean place of business just means everything to me lol The place was fairly busy when I went in. There was a session going on in the children's room when I arrived. There were two ladies in the room with me who chatted the entire time but that was fine. ANYWHO The attendants give you shoe covers before entering and also offer a nice thick blanket just in case its too cold for your liking. The room temp was pretty comfortable to me and I just used the blanket as a throw. The beach are comfy and recline to your liking. I sat rite next to the vent and my lips paid the price lol DEFINITELY MAKE SURE YOUR LIPS ARE MOISTURIZED. Overall a great experience. I didn't notice much of a difference with my nose (I have sinus trouble) but then again it was only my first session. I believe I'll give it another try in the near future. read more

Great location, new facility, very clean and friendly staff! Lockers available while you relax in the salt room ... after all electronics and salt aren't really friends. I brought a book and relaxed in the Himalayan Salt atmosphere. You'll have lite salt residue on your clothes, but you are going to wear comfy clothes to relax in anyway right? I went in today with a terrible head cold. I could barely breathe from being so congested. I was the only person in the salt room and it was so peaceful. I used the 45 minutes to read and relax. The only recommendation would be to have the spa music turned up because you can't hear it with the salt being infused into the room. I would definitely go back. read more

I love Salt Scene! We were looking for options for my husband's asthma and tried Salt Scene. The staff is wonderful, knowledgeable and caring. They use pharmacutical grade salt, super important. We attend twice a week and would go more if we lived closer. My husband was on handfuls of pills and inhalers and still not managed. After a week he started dropping off a med at time. A month later he was off all meds, except allergy and has not had to use his rescue since starting, which had been a regular thing. He has tons more energy and a more relaxed state of mind. I would recommend giving it a try. I don't know if it will work for you but, this had been our experience. Those meds were killing him and no surprise when he went in for his checkup and he said I'm off all my meds and I passed your tests. The Dr never asked how and when we told him. He blew us off. So take control of your health and try halotherapy. It's been a God send for us and saved my husband. read more

The facility is well set up and very clean. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. My wife and I have been coming to the Salt Scene to help with a persistent cough.
