I dropped off my Maid of Honor dress for my cousin's wedding about a week ago and picked it up today and in total, I paid double what the dress originally cost me I don't have time to get it fixed by someone else before the wedding because it's in eight days and it nearly looks the same as when I dropped it off She kept insisting that I should loosen the bodice, but I'm a heavy chested girl who is not wearing a bra to the wedding so that could result in catastrophe. She wasn't happy that the bodice was a bit tight and on the other end she didn't really loosen the skirt as I asked her to and didn't take in Too much above the bum so the dress still looks a little boxy on me. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement, and I am bothered that I paid $200+ for an Alteration that was subpar is even worse. She legit charged me $15 for an eyelet hook that is $3 for a pack of 10 at Michael's. They are not cheap, but I think they did a great job on the three pieces of clothing I dropped off. I had a dress ($11.95), a sweater ($5.95), and some pants ($5.95). I thought the price for the dress was a tad expensive, but maybe I'm just out of touch with what the market rate is these days. Again, I haven't had to go to a dry cleaner since March 2020. Either way, my clothes look great and smell fresh. I'll be returning soon and look forward to checking out their alteration services as well!

Walk in and it's almost like a car dealership. Large plate glass windows, high ceiling and lots of power toys for the big boys on display. They are a Stihl dealership and it shows. I made the grand tour in the Macon/Warner Robins/Byron area of most, if not all these places looking for a few parts for a weed eater. What I learned was Lowes and Home Depot sold machines are hard to find parts for. About all I got was a view off all these shops and a half tank or more less of gas. Talked to the man in the parts department. Very nice guy. Looked at the part I was trying to replace, a grommet for the fuel tank, but couldn't match it with anything he had. Talked to me for a few minutes about how the system works and many of these big box store machines will be hard to find parts for locally. Never tried to push any of his products on me. Rarely do you see someone try to help someone that isn't going to be a customer because they don't have the part. But, not only did he take the time to explain these things to me but he recommended another shop south of him that might be my best best. Service what they sell. Lowes or Home Depot will never say that.
