The staff is the perfect combination of professional and affectionate with the children and the facility is clean and modern with lots of developmentally appropriate toys. The teachers really work hard to do more than just watch the children - they are conducting daily developmental play even with the small infants. The app was such a blessing for us anxious new parents - getting photos and updates throughout the day eased us tremendously. It's a little pricey, but I can honestly say it was worth every penny.

Spoke to the assistant manager and everything sounds great. I specifically asked about availabilities on the phone before I make this tour appointment. I clearly explained to the manager which days I need coverage for my child. Everything sounded great on the phone so we decided to take a tour of the place before we start enrollment. I got there 15 minutes early with my toddler. The manager asked me to sign in and after take a seat, my child and I sat there almost half an hour before the manager came back and told us there was no availability and there's no reason in taking the tour, but she would love to put us on the waiting list.. I mean good God that's not what I was told on the phone. Just a waste of time. This was certainly unprofessional. Moving forward please improve communication.

Currently the place is a disaster and surprised the health department hasn't shut them down. The locker rooms a littered with trash, dust and mold in shower. Who knows about the pools. Sauna's floor has never been cleaned and definitely growing someone science project under the wood boards. I think upper management should've thought out the consequences prior to releasing the cleaning company because the Y management is doing a piss poor job with maintenance and cleaning of the facility. Truly wonder what would happen if the health department would come in . My guess they would shut them down to get up to par with health safety . Clean the facilities please.

From the moment we walked through the doors, we knew they were loved, cared for, and treated like family. We were fortunate enough to experience both the original in-home daycare and the transition to the Parkside Kids center, and it was seamless. The same love, attention, and family atmosphere that made us feel at home from the very beginning only continued to grow. The peace of mind that comes from knowing your children are happy and safe each day is something every parent hopes for, and Parkside Kids gave us exactly that. Every teacher and caregiver has been incredible. They didn't just care for our children--they encouraged them, celebrated their milestones, and helped them grow into the amazing little girls they are today. Along the way, our girls made friendships and memories they'll carry with them for years to come. The facility is always impeccably clean, communication has consistently been excellent, and it's clear how much pride everyone takes in creating a warm, welcoming environment. It is clear Steph and Parkside's wonderful teachers love what they do, and our toddler son felt right at home from our very first day at the center. Steph's years of experience operating an in home center have seamlessly scaled to a larger daycare center setting while maintaining high standards and a close knit family feel. We have been less than impressed by other daycares in the area but have always felt comfortable and confident leaving our son in Parkside's very capable hands. In addition to the wonderful owner/director and staff, the indoor and outdoor play areas are clean and appropriately stimulating for young children. There is so much space and variety for children to explore, play, and burn energy, which is a huge plus for our active little one. I always have to drag my son out of Parkside at pick up time because he just loves playing with the excavators and rocks outside! The extreme cleanliness of the facility, nutritious and included meals, convenient hours of operation, frequent updates and pictures via the Brightwheel app, and reasonable rates are other things we appreciate.
