It was beginning to look like we were going to have to extend our closing date or possibly have to look for another home Then our daughter in law mentioned Luan at Deck Bros We made contact with Luan, met him at the home that afternoon and he said due to our situation "no problem"-he would have it done the following morning Although it was not Luans problem-he was sympathetic to our situation and treated us like it was just as much his issue as it was ours We arrived at the new home around noon to take pictures for our realtor and the railing was completed AND was high quality !!! Luans compassion, professionalism, and his appreciation for our predicament made the difference in us being able to close on time THANKS LUAN

We just had our deck done by deck bros. Not a good experience took a month longer to get started…read morethan planned, was told it would take 3 days, it took 3 weeks. They messed up where the stairs landed and had to add more concrete. But that on them not me, I had them do a pattern on the stairs was told there would be an extra cost, we asked how much our project manager said he doesn't know but not much, finally done with the deck, they made wedges on the outside because they bad cuts on the composite wood while installing the railing again not my fault. But once it's good enough because I'm over and don't want to deal with it, I have an office lady call me the other day last week asking me to hurry up and sign the papers saying the job was complete, I'm like sure yea jobs done get paid get out of my hair this has been bad from the get go I just want to enjoy my new deck, today I get a call from the finance company telling me I authorized an extra $10,000 dollars on the deck, um excuse me? You just increased the price by 35% and didn't give me a dollar ammount, I'm sorry we are a middle class household 10,000 grand is a lot, while the project manager apparently thinks it's a drop in the hat. They are kinda deceiving, talk a really good game, but didn't deliver and I got screwed in the end 10 freaking grand. 10 grand could have gotten me an entire new driveway, 10 grand could replace every window in my house. 10 grand I could refloor my whole house. I do not recomend.

They were very responsive and provided an estimate right away. My spouse was so impressed he also hired them to stain the entire deck and the fence surrounding the backyard in addition to the repair. I cannot recommend Justin and his crew enough! They were one of 4 contractors that we recently bid…read moreout for a tile and closet addition project to our home and we ended up selecting him based on price and overall first impression. He showed up at the exact time for the bidding process and returned our call quickly when we first contacted him. Don't you hate when contractors tell you that they will finish in a certain amount of time and then suddenly it's 3x longer? Justin and his team worked consecutively in our home for 3.5 days (from 8am-5pm every day) and were finished much sooner than what other companies were telling us. (Keep in mind, those other companies were much higher priced) There was a snag in the project when we discovered a small mold spot in our bathroom, but Justin was happy to remove it, replace the plywood, and cover it with sealant. Additionally, we asked him to move an outlet around the closet he was building and he did it without any hesitation. BONUS Cleanliness: The first day they came, he laid down plastic covering on our carpet because it had just snowed and they knew they could potentially track dirty snow into our house every time they came in and out. When they did finally remove the plastic covering, they vacuumed as best they could to return our house back to normal. He even asked if we had a broom so he could sweep all the sand they tracked in! Friendliness/Approachability: Justin was SUCH an easy guy to work with. He did a great job of explaining the work they did and always made sure to give us informed options when we had decisions to make. Even with the mold and asking for an outlet cover to be added, he never complained or showed any signs of annoyance. Our 3 and 5-year-old daughters even enjoyed talking to him and his guys and share about their days at school. I've never been more impressed when working with a contractor and will continue to choose Justin for any future home projects!!! Give him a call, you absolutely will not regret it.
