They take time to get to know the adopters, make sure they are a good fit. As well as, tour your the home and check for safety concerns. Most people don't know what they are getting into with a German Shepherd, so they make sure you understand. Tank ate some drywall at the rescue the night before we took him home. They said if we had any issues let them know. He ended up getting gastritis and was vomiting and had diarrhea. They told us go to urgent care & were there the whole way supporting us. They even took care of the $1300 urgent care bill, knowing he was being a German shepherd puppy and chew stuff. God bless this rescue & all the people that help to make it successful! When GSD's need help, they are there!

Parents and guardians drop off their adult handicapped kids here thinking that they will be well taken care of during the day. www.osbi.gov This organization used to be fairly decent when effort was put in. Now, they are merely babysitters. Handicapped adults, unsupervised, can commit felonies! Its not that hard. They all have phones equipped with cameras, they know people all over the country, they take and send pictures that they think will be enjoyed by their friends. But a lot of people are not their friends. $80k/yr/client is what this place takes in from our government. And then ignores their clients. Call them, email them, let them know how much you appreciate them neglecting our handicapped children, FOR PROFIT.

They are always ready to listen and willing to apply parents suggestions for our young adults. Saul rocks! The music program is like no other! Jared has worked tirelessly to bring music special education programs to anyone who will listen. The sponsorship he has obtained is unparalleled. Jared has also developed a smoking hot hockey team. Kirstin has worked with the dance team and they also perform at community events. Kim Beckwith has the heart and soul of one of the most caring and patient people I have ever encountered. She believes in One Step and it's mission. She runs the organization with grace and skill. She gets our young adults and it is exemplified in everything she does. OSBI has also partnered with Estrella Mountain College and my son completed his first college course. OSBI has a team of professionals who care.
