We browsed with clear intent to purchase for nearly 20 minutes and were treated as though we were invisible. What we did receive was surveillance. An employee followed us at a distance the entire time -- not to help, but to watch. Then a regular customer walked in. The transformation was immediate. Multiple employees rushed to greet him, addressed him as "Doctor," asked about his weekend plans, and provided the attentive, personalized service that had apparently been unavailable to us moments earlier. For context: my husband is also a physician. The difference? They didn't know that. Luxury retail isn't about recognizing certain titles or catering to familiar faces. It's about consistency, professionalism, and making every customer feel welcome. What we witnessed was selective hospitality -- enthusiastic deference for the "right" person, suspicion and indifference for the rest. That isn't upscale. It's exclusionary. We won't be returning, and we'll gladly spend our money at Mr. Wicks who understands respect should not be conditional.

The shop owner was so friendly and kind after overhearing that I was from OOT. They suggested a few great places to visit while being in the area so I certainly bookmarked them and plan on visiting. They have a wide array of outdoor items from coolers, tumbers, to backpacks. What really drew me in was their selection of little knickknacks that were rite up my alley! I purchased a few items and walked out happy with my purchases! Fortunately they also have an online store so I can get whatever I wanted in store but had no room in my carry on bags!

This time we needed a suit for a gala and went it to get fitted, pick colors, etc. the "manager" at the time was a little unprofessional and made some mistakes with our tux. HOWEVER I took the suit back up there the following day and explained the errors and ERIN was beyond amazing and fixed everything to the best of her ability. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and all mistakes were corrected. (FYI we found out the first employee was let go for similar instances). The big and tall section was bursting at the seams there were so many clothes and the associate that was working the section was very nice and accommodating. My main complaint is that the prices are rather high compared to other retail shops and you really have to watch their sales and clearance racks to really make the trip worthwhile. The guy came out did his little thing to see if it was enough! But never layed in it to see how far down it goes once you lay in it! So after 2 1/2 months of waiting they couldn't even call us they send me a letter saying it was enough for a replacement! Would never use Dillards for any furniture again!! So make sure your sales man knowledgable about the mattress and Warranty! Had my Bassett mattress for 15 years never any of these problems just thought it was time to get a new one! Wish we had it back! Very disappointed in them!
