I again witnessed the tale of two restaurants as the primary business and labor focus appears to be on the ice cream, baked goods and pastries side which did impact the in dining side service of the business. Apparently there was a ton of seasonal options that they ran out of, but the fact that there wasn't a chocolate brownie, dark chocolate, or chocolate peanut butter, or any Reese's of any kind was a bit upsetting. Those seem like pretty standard flavors which are fan favorites, but they weren't there. I went to this Cold Stone location a few weeks ago. I ordered a pint of the no one lays a finger on…read moremy butterfinger creation, and added reese's. The employee that was making it, realized the pint was not full. She added more ice cream on top and some more toppings. I was not charged for the reeses. We loved the creation so much, that I went back today to get the triple pint. I was charged for the reeses. I could have ordered it online with 6 toppings, the butterfinger signature creation has 4 toppings and adding reeses would have been 5 total toppings, so that means no charge for adding in reeses. When I got home, I noticed the container was only about 80% full. So the employee today had the same issue as the other, but instead of giving me a full container, gave me one partially filled. I would have overlooked the extra topping charge, but it's a frustrating experience to not get the amount you paid for, plus having inconsistencies in workers. Again, the creation was great, but I may try another location next time.

5 stars, always and forever…read more I've been a long time fan of Jeni's and it is easily my favorite ice cream shop around. No matter how many new places pop up, nothing ever compares to the quality and creativity they bring to every single scoop. You can always taste the difference. The flavors are always so thoughtfully done, from the classics to the more unique combinations they come out with season by season. It's the kind of place where you end up trying something new every time and somehow it becomes your new favorite. The South End location is such a great spot too. They have seating both inside and outside which makes it perfect whether you want to sit and enjoy a sunny day or just take a quick break while you're out walking around. It always feels like a little reset in the middle of the day. And the team there truly makes the experience. Every time I go in, they are so kind, patient, and so beyond helpful when you're deciding between flavors which is not easy to do.
