I had never seen a business that specialized in Sno Cones - until today. The variety of flavors is unbelievable! Our grandchildren shared a Unicorn Sno Cone which they loved. What a fun and unique place. We will definitely go back again. read more

I've frequented Sno-Ball cabin for years, up until this summer it seems. When you go, you're presented with a choice now, between a bowl or a cup. I asked the cashier if there was a difference between the two, and she said no, they both contain the same amount of ice. When I received my snow cone, I received this. Looking around and everyone's bowls I got very upset, realizing that there definitely was a difference and I was lied to. Everyone who had a bowl, was piled high with ice. My cup wasn't even filled to the top. There's no longer a kids size either. Seriously, what a shame read more

I'm so pleased sno-balls have made it to Charlotte. The best warm weather treat out of New Orleans has taken hold of the Carolinas and I couldn't be happier. Sno-balls are the new froyo shop. Expect them on every corner by next summer. The set-up at Sno-Ball Cabin is very similar to any other sno-ball spot; styrofoam cups piled high with finely shaved ice, topped with your selection of flavors from a very extensive list. Make room in your diet for a big serving of sugar. Three of us walked over after having lunch next door at The Bridge. We selected our flavors and were given a numbered ticket, like you get at the deli counter or the DMV. I imagine this system will come in clutch once summer fully descends on the south, but it felt kind of silly when there was no one else waiting in line. Our sno-balls were ready in a few minutes, placed in a pick-up window on the side of the cabin. We perched ourselves on one of several large wooden porch swings in the patio area. I'd imagine it's quite charming at night, with the string lights above. Further behind the cabin is an area with a few cornhole boards. I could have done without the one dude playing shirtless, but I'd imagine Sno-Ball Cabin hasn't drafted up a sign for that yet. They do, however, have a sign prohibiting smoking on their property, which includes vaping. You can enjoy your icy treats without the smell of smoke, and I was pumped to see that. Our sno-balls were great. Whatever flavor(s) you choose, I highly recommend paying the extra 50¢ for condensed milk. They're not stingy with extra toppings here, for sure. If you haven't jumped on the sno-ball train yet, Sno-Ball Cabin is a great choice to get your feet wet (and your hands sticky with syrup). read more

This place is terrific! It's right next to the Bridge at an intersection that needed something special. THEY HAVE SUGAR FREE OPTIONS!!!!! This place is so inexpensive ($2 for a small which is more than enough for me). They have a bunch of wood swings so it's fun to hang out and eat. They also have cornhole, tables, a sailcloth cover from the sun, twinkly night lights and music playing. Seriously, it's like your childhood summer memories came back in Hemby Bridge. The kids that work there are sweet even though they are working fast to get those orders out. If you're there, be sure to tip them something. I've sat and watched them for several hours now and maybe 2 people throw something in. Even a quarter - I'm sure we all remember our first summer jobs. I left $5 and they came out to thank me. :) It can be hard to see the sign but they snuggle up to the Bridge restaurant which has a massive parking lot, park there. TONS of flavors plus special toppings, clean, cheap and a pleasant place to hang out and maybe play some cornhole. What more could you want? read more

This adorable establishment was recommended by my sister-in-law. After we took the kids to the stallings park we were ready for a place to cool off and get a sweet treat. The prices are extremely affordable, for a kids size you get a a 8 or 10oz cup for only $2!!! There are almost a hundred flavors to choose from. The snow cones are the shaved ice kind, so soft and not crystal ice like you would think of a normal snow cone. The price increase a dollar for larger sizes. The staff is extremely friendly, but what really makes this place is the inviting ambiance. The man who runs the shop built beautiful swinging benches for his customers to sit and enjoy his snow cones. There are also ring games, corn hole, and a large children's sand box out back. If it looks like the parking lot is too full, you can also park in the gravel lot in the back of the building. read more

What a great little addition to Indian Trail! We discovered Sno-Ball Cabin late in the season but I have no doubt we'll be back as soon as they reopen. The prices are reasonable and I've never felt as if they skimp on the flavor syrup in their cups. Probably the best thing about this place is the creative things they can do with flavors. They have tons of flavors on the menu but, ask the folks at the window what they'd recommend and give it a try. My son ordered a root beer flavored cup and they suggested adding cream. It was amazing how much it tasted like a root beer float! There is a huge parking area so that's never a problem and, in addition to some great new seating they added, they have corn hole to play as you enjoy your cup. It can be a little difficult getting in and out when roads are busy but generally, it is never a huge issue. read more

I mean, yummy. How can you go wrong with 200 degree heat and a place that serves 50+ flavors of shaved ice. Can you say REFRESHING? I tried strawberry cheesecake which was bursting with flavor..albeit artificial as can be...but soo good! Husband got cookie dough which was also very good!! This little place is so cute!! Situated right off a main street, on a dusty gravel road, you find this gem as you head into indian trail. A lot of flavor options...i tried cotton candy..after I received my small cup of snowball ice,it melted into water 2min later into a mega sweet drink,for me it had WAY to much syrup...to sweet..and it melted to quickly..for that reason I don't think I will be coming back.. read more
