Before grabbing ice cream, we briefly stopped into Sin City next door. As one of our friends was walking in, he noticed cars in the shared parking lot were actively being booted. We had been there maybe 15 minutes. Apparently, if you step into the neighboring business at all -- even if you're planning to purchase from Two Scoops immediately after -- they will boot your car and demand $275 to remove it. We spoke directly with the staff at Two Scoops and explained that we were simply meeting up and didn't realize stepping next door wasn't allowed. The response was essentially, "Too bad." There was no grace, no warning, no attempt at understanding -- just an immediate $275 penalty. Even if you select a cup, you get a wedge of crispy waffle cone to indulge with your ice cream. When I stopped by this weekend for a small cup (kiddy sized with no judgment from the staff), I was delighted to see they'd added caramel and fudge sauces; my one complaint with Jeni's has been a lack of sundaes. As a result, I had the honey vanilla ice cream rather the more robust flavors so I could sample the caramel sauce. It was very good. Over the years we have sampled most of the regular flavors, but newcomers should be aware new and often temporary flavors are frequently introduced.
