I am so thankful for the recommendation because the process was so easy and affordable, compared to other window treatment companies, through North Shore Shutters. I contacted Bill who was easy to communicate with and scheduled for an estimate. I highly appreciate his straightforward personality and unapologetic honesty. He knows he has a great product and provides incredible prices; he doesn't have to sell you on anything. He didn't try to upsell me and informed me of my options that gave me more bang for my buck. For example, he told me that he has a team that could install the shades (for a very reasonable price) but if someone in the house was handy and as long as we knew how to use a drill, we could install the shades ourselves. He was right, the shades weren't difficult to install. With the right drill bit and a charged drill, it only took a couple of hours to install 9 shades. Bill informed me of a promotional North Shore Shutters was offering over the summer that was still running, free upgrade for Bottom Up Top Down shades. These cellular shades are quality! They are lightweight but sturdy and look so beautiful in our home. The room darkening shades do a great job of keeping our bedroom dim in the morning where we have two East facing windows. If you're looking for competitive prices, call Bill, the price for all 9 shades was incredible! After accepting the proposal and once the invoice was paid for (happened all on the same day), it took 2 weeks for the blinds to arrive. I highly recommend Bill and North Shore Shutters, I would request their services again if I was ever in need again but I have a feeling these shades will never need to be replaced as long as we never move.

He did everything, and this made the whole process so much simpler. We had an issue with an error from the manufacturer--the bottom of the blind wasn't level with the sill. Called Chris, he came out and agreed--no problem. He ordered a new blind, installed it himself when it was ready, and then pointed out that a few of the rows toward the bottom of the blind were slightly crinkled and said the crinkle should smooth itself out, but, if not, we should call him and he'd l have it remade again. I was so impressed with this. Turns out we didn't have to call him. The crinkle smoothed itself out as he expected. FYI: The last time I dealt with a window treatment company, one of the woven blinds we ordered had a very noticeable flaw when it was installed--it was somewhat unraveled in a very small spot, but, because the installer wasn't the owner, and only did his job--which was to install--he didn't say a word about it. So we just thought we'd have to put up with the flaw, and we HAVE been. If it had been Chris, HE would have pointed out the flaw and would have reordered a new blind without hesitation. Their showroom was very helpful because we could go there and see various options in person and view how the automation alternatives actually worked. Their in-home visit enabled us to choose materials and colors right in the environment where the blinds would be installed. We choose automated blinds that change position relative to the sunrise and sunset so that we have the perfect combination of light and privacy in our family room with window walls on three sides. We can also control our blinds with Amazon's Alexa or Apple's Siri. This shows the kind of experience that we appreciate. We are so glad to hear that they have relocated to Wilmette, closer to us. The process was seamless: I contacted Debbie, we agreed on a time that suited us both, she measured and made recommendations based on my needs. The installer came at the exact time that he indicated he would arrive and let me know the steps and approximate time he would be at my house and gave me a tutorial on how to use the blinds. Donna was the first pro that we heard from and she should have been the LAST!!! We received the quote from the other company and the price they quoted us for two rooms was more than Web Decors quoted us for our entire first floor. Not only was the price for two rooms through a competitor more than all the work that Donna did but the other company did not quote us the wood shutters which were the most expensive part of this project. It looks as though these were a part of the original house. We have had guests over who remarked on how beautiful the treatments look and how natural they fit into the room.
