Wonderful Thrift Store !!!! It is easy to find treasures and the prices are very good!!

I often past the share center unsure what services they provided until I was in need of A Food Pantry assistance & was informed that they had this service available for residents of Seminole county . I signed in & met with Stella she was compassionate , kind , friendly & I felt comfortable in her environment & judgement free after the intake . I was instructed to take a seat & wait for your food to be prepared for you . A elderly guy called me & escorted me to my vehicle with lots of food of all sorts of things . I was so surprised & grateful to get my needs met after just moving into my apartment. Thank you so much for meeting my needs . Keep up the great work & I have referred my family & friends . I also donated clothing, shoes , CD's , DVD ,household goods & other items at the thrift store. I was so happy to give back .Everyone is so friendly & helpful at the thrift Store .Wow found Great deals will stop in and do shopping at a later time . I also had the pleasure of meeting Anita & Marco at another day to access service for housing & other resources/ referrals available In Our Community Again everyone was professional, helpful, kind , friendly, patient & knowledgeable . The Sharing Center is a community service non-profit organization located in Longwood FL. My wife and I have a friend we help frequently and found out about the Sharing Center through our local church. On my first visit here, I was blown away by the services they provide to the homeless community. Our friend used to be homeless for many years but his social worker helped him get into an apartment. Even though he is not homeless currently he still has access to all the sharing center has to offer. He basically receives free medical services, clothing, food, and they also have a restaurant here where he can eat for free, pretty dang amazing! The Sharing Center takes up an entire strip mall lot and is conveniently located off of 17/92 in between Florida and Orange Ave. There is ample parking, and the general public has access to the main store as well, but it's not free for us, lol! Regardless, most items are discounted to what you would see at most thrift stores. The main store contains everything you would see in a thrift store; clothes, shoes, linens, towels, kitchen utensils, cooking equipment, vacuum cleaners, books, magazines, records, CD's, toys, purses, bags, some musical instruments, electronics, and more. This store connects to another store that houses mostly furniture, paintings, wall art, lamps, some workout equipment, knick-knacks, collectables and more. Then there is another doorway that leads into a Boutique, with more thrift store type items, but Higher-end; fine dresses, silver plated silverware sets, jewelry, fancy shoes (like-new), premium sunglasses, and select Disney logo items. My wife and mom purchased several tops from this store. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything here that I needed. There was a used Clarinet for sale. I asked the clerk if she could take it out of the case so I could assess it and when I did, I could tell it was in rough shape. They were asking $150 for the instrument and when I looked it up online, that's what it was selling for used, but it would have cost me more than $150 just to have this thing serviced by a proper technician, so definitely not worth the purchase. The staff here are all very friendly and the store is clean. There are dressing rooms available to verify the fit of clothing and there are restrooms available to customers. We are very thankful for the Sharing Center because they support the community in a passionate way and have helped our friend who has had a difficult and troubled life. We donate to the Sharing Center frequently to support their cause. The Sharing Center has an amazing selection of items for sale at a fair price. I highly recommend stopping in to support them by shopping here if you are in the area. read more

Incredible local operation, selection and prices are unmatched across Central Florida (trust me I've been to A BUNCH of places) and every single member of their team I've come across genuinely wants to help and seems to enjoy their job. The whole plaza is laid out to help those in need. It's nice giving to a place that you know keeps everything in house, I also can't believe the gems I've found there. Sport coats and suits were $7 when I went and I happened to go on a day when everything was $1! I found a bespoke (one of a kind garment, made specifically for someone by a tailorwith quality materials) houndstooth CASHMERE men's sport coat (at LEAST an $800 jacket) for $1! That's just one of the handful of incredible garments I've picked up in the first couple of visits. I love this place and can't wait to keep shopping, donating and contributing to their incredible efforts! read more

Fantastic deals on thrifted goods. I love that its endless garage sale nature keeps the stock ever changing with really great deals. I walked out with a Melissa and Doug wooden kids walker for 75 cents. You literally can't beat that! The service here is always great as it's run by volunteers from different churches so everyone's heart is in the right place to give. The value can't be beat for helping a good cause and still getting great stuff. I do belive they even give vouchers to the homeless for them to come and get some new clothes in times of need. What a wonderful service to our community. Come support with your donations too! read more

This sharing center offers used clothes for a cheap price or right next door at their "Boutique store" clothes, pursers and dress for a little bit more. There is plenty to look at here and the prices are good if you want something used and not expensive, friendly staff and they give back to the community. The product they sale here is not in bad shape and it helps create jobs. Everyone one here is always nice and friendly and helpful, they offer other thing in the plaza for those less fortunate. The service is good I have never had any issues with anyone or anything here but beware there is no returns so what you buy you can not return it. read more

very discriminate towards the homeless, forces the homeless to wear masks, but do not enforce the staff, volunteers, security, or any other customers onsite to wear the masks. If the homeless do not wear the masks they get attitude from the security guard not wearing a mask, and denied services. tried to post pictures of their so called fresh food as advertised in their advertising booklet they pass out to volunteers and others they are panhandling( money donors) to get money from. but I am sure their thrift store is doing good , from all the reviews being about the thrift store. and not the homeless services. read more

I have not been inside so this review is based solely on dropping off donations. You will drive around the back of the building and there are separate spots for different kinds of donations. There are signs but it can be a bit confusing so just remember the first is for large items like furniture, the second is for smaller household items (clothes, lamps, dishes, etc), and the third is for food items. The people working the doors will let you know which spot to go to if you're unsure. They only accept donations at certain times (I believe beginning at 10am) so call ahead if you want to make sure you don't waste a trip! read more

This is the best thrift shop in Orlando and surrounding area. Their prices are soooo low; unlike the "other" one I used to give to. I donate ALL my used items here. As with any thrift shop, you may or may not find what you are looking for, but it's safe to say you will find something that you gotta have. . The staff is friendly and courteous. Give it a look. I have been going to The Sharing Center thrift store for a few years now and always had pleasant experienes. They recently moved to a new location (in the same shopping plaza) and it was a positive change. The "boutique" section of the store is bigger and easier to get around. The regular part of the store doesn't seem much bigger, but it is better organized now. The staff is always helpful and friendly! I was thinking about buying a changing table for a friend and when I contacted them about holding it, they not only took pictures of the item and emailed them to me (so I could show my friend) but also worked with her to pay for the item over the phone so I could pick it up for her. It was also on sale! A great experience and deal all around. read more

The Christian Sharing Center is great change to the regular thrift experience. This location is a large with a little bit of everything there. The staff was kind and helpful, and seemed not to be bothered by the questions I had. They also have a side area with items that might be little pricey section but it was still overall a good area with fair prices. The store is very organized by section and I had no problem maneuvering myself around. The Christian Sharing Center has a lot of hidden gems and good deals if your willing to browse and spend a minute. Best thrift store in the area, and it is huge. They have a large thrift store, a separate furniture store and a boutique. Great variety and good prices for a great cause. The money really goes back to the local community with onsite food pantry, health clinic and job assistance. read more

I have heard about the sharing center through the news media when 2020 happened trying to get food and clothing to these families being kicked out of their homes and had no food because they had no jobs so I donated for myself and my corporation back me up by doubling my donation and I believe I did it again this year. I have only been there once and the shopping experience. The boutique is my first place of choice . next I want to go check out the furniture area. I am hoping to find a small three drawer vintage dresser. read more

This was an interesting thrift store. They have a boutique where they stock what they think are the more expensive items. At higher prices. When I was there, a couple of ladies comment that some of the items have been for sale there for a couple of months and they thought if the prices came down then they would sell. The other side is the thrift store. There is a lot of 'stuff' but there is also a lot of clothing too. I was looking for home decor and kitchen stuff so I can't talk about the clothing other than to say it looked like there was a lot of it. I didn't find anything that i needed though. This is a pretty good thrift store. They don't have a lot of clothing. They've got a lot of furniture and a lot of books. They usually have a deal where you fill up a shopping bag full of books for $5. There is also a special boutique attached that has a lot of overpriced trinkets. The staff is very friendly, especially this crazy lady who has really long hair and occasionally wears butterfly wings. She's nice though. read more

Decent selection and good pricing. The staff is very nice and helpful. Good Furniture choices but the prices are a little steep. Shoes are all the same low price. Clothing prices are low also and they have a lot of sales. Biggest complaint is that their deal days are not set. You never know what you're going to get. I would like to know exactly when they're going to have their half-off clothing day but you would have to call every morning (often no one answers) and ask because they do it randomly. read more

I was one of the many volunteers distributing food to the needy Wednesday Sept. 2nd. and wish to commend the Christian Sharing Center leadership for the outstanding organizational work done, which made the flow of food to the vehicles flawless. There was three stops, one after another in a straight line where vehicles stopped to get different food items. There was always plenty of food on the setup tables, packaged and ready to be distributed. The huge outdoor fans kept the work area cool and periodically someone would visit each volunteer to see if they needed water. The prepared and packaged sandwiches provided the necessary protein for me to work my three-hour shift without feeling weak. THANK YOU!!!! read more

One of only a handful of thrift stores where to my knowledge they actually are helping in the local community. Sometimes something's overpriced, but I can usually find something good. Gotten several decent pieces of furniture, for reasonable prices, over the 20+ years I've shopped here. Not a lot of clothes, which is fine as I'm not a clothes horse. The clothes do seem to be reasonably priced vs. Goodwill. And unlike most thrift stores, they sell children's toys instead of throwing out all but the plushies! This is a huge plus for me. We called in to ask about getting some unwanted furniture picked up and scheduled a day. They sent two great guys in a truck (sorry, bad with names) and they carried everything out and were very cordial. Definitely will donate again. read more

After hitting a half dozen stores prior to this on and finding nothing, I was pleasantly surprised here. Good sections full of stuff, a boutique area, and new things came out while I was there. It didn't look overly picked over, old ladies volunteering there were friendly, and prices were cheap. Will visit again when I'm in the area, if possible. read more

The sharing center is well run and I have found some great bargains for my granddaughter. They run a lot of specials too. Easy place to donate so you can make room for the great buys. Win-win for me. read more

I've donated here and also shopped. They have great sales on clothes every once in a while but I will no longer be shopping here. I purchased two large items here for the first time recently. The lady in charge Crystal was very rude about their policy to not load items into vehicles unless your are obviously disabled. And if you are late picking up your items (hurricane or not) they will place them back on the floor for resale without notifying you or letting you claim them after that point. She refused to let me take what I had purchased even though no one else had bought it and then they demanded we pay the new full price, then they asked for another 30 dollars to take it. Finally it went down to 10 more which was the difference between what I paid and the current sticker price, but it's extremely disapointing how they do business. Especially considering they do outreach and call themselves Christian. read more

I don't find the staff very friendly. When they are 'stocking' they tend to push people out of their way. Clothing on the 'bargain' side isn't anything special...mostly dirty and beyond worn. I laughed out loud shopping in the "Boutique" side of the building. They had a framed print they wanted $50 for and just so we could 'see' how 'valuable' it was and how 'reasonable' their prices are they printed out a copy of someones eBay listing. Here's the thing about eBay listings, people can post anything at any price they think they want but that doesn't mean that is really what something is worth. The only listings that matter on eBay listings are COMPLETED and SOLD listings. Anything else is BS. These people are NOT posting actual sales. So when you see these eBay auctions posted, whether is is at a yard store, consignment or thrift....RUN! Cause these folks are thinking you're dumb enough to buy into their scam. read more
