Meredith has been doing my lashes for quite some time now and I can't believe I haven't written a review yet! I wish I could give 10 stars because she always does an amazing job. Plus, she is just a great human being and treats her customers as friends. And, I absolutely love that you can text message for an appointment- no waiting on hold or making awkward small talk with a receptionist. Prices are very fair and you are ALWAYS going to get great lashes- there will never be a botch job like the ones I've seen coming in here for a rescue! Here's the short of it: If you want lashes, go here. Here's my experience: I had lashes put on Friday somewhere else. Ok, I left somewhat happy. By Wednesday, half of them were gone. Like gaps in my lash line. I found MEREDITH on yelp, and texted her a pic and asking for help. Immediately, she called. Since I couldn't answer, I returned her call a 8:15pm and she spoke to me for several minutes. She was SO sweet. She booked me for the following evening at 8:15pm. I show up to their new location and she was ready. Google where you are going since it's not "off the highway" Clearly, they have enough client base, they don't need walk in traffic. I mean, she got me in at 8:15 after doing lashes ALL day. So she was very very sweet, but very sorry for my original experience that I had ELSEWHERE...she didn't need to be sorry! She removed all the other lashes and spent a good 30 minutes talking through options. She was totally upfront and honest and could have easily taken my money and given me a new set. Instead, she let me know how short they would be and what they would look like, since I have VERY fine and short lashes. I opted to start Latisse and return in a few months rather than try another set now. When I asked what I owed, she said nothing because she hated I spent money the week before for awful lashes. She normally charges $25 for removal so of course I left $40. (I'm not gonna be that person--she DESERVES payment!) She is funny, sweet, easy to communicate with. I am an eyelash extensions noob. I thought I'm going on vacation, it'll be one less thing to have to worry about. Then I saw Meredith and quickly wondered why would I ever buy mascara again? To start, she walked me through the whole process. She talked to me about what I wanted and how I wanted them to look. Her salon was comfortable and welcoming. I never felt nervous or unsure about anything. The fill took about 1.5 hours but the whole time was easy and fun, like chatting with a girlfriend over a glass of wine (but with your eyes closed). Now, I've got pretty nice lashes already, thick and medium in length. Meredith elevated them to that next, NEXT level. When she was done, my lashes were lusciously amazing with the full set!!! I got the "hot damn" look from hubs and compliments from others all week. Following Meredith's great instructions, my lashes still looked impeccable after a full week. You DEFINITELY get what you pay for--and then some! I moved here a couple of years ago and decided to try lash extensions. I first tried a place in the Domain that was very good, but also very expensive and far for me to travel. At that time, I didn't know there was a big difference, not only in the lashes used, but in the expertise of the person applying them. There, I had to choose the type, the curl, the size...all were very confusing. And, if I chose faux mink (which is supposed to be what most women wanted), there was an upcharge. To save on expense and travel I went to someone nearby connected to my hair salon. She was very sweet, but the lashes were stiff, sparse, and almost painful when I tightly shut my eyes. It was inexpensive, but not worthwhile. I then decided to go to one of the higher rated places on Yelp, and was surprised that, while the lashes were somewhat fuller, they were so very thin and light (didn't at all look blackish-brown, the color of my hair), fell out very quickly and easily and never really looked good at all. I was told this was the fault of my lashes, that they were too thin to hold lashes well. This place was inexpensive, but I never liked the way they looked. If I chose a fuller style I was told it would not hold even that well, and was a considerable upcharge. Lash fallout was blamed on my using eyeshadow and the fact that maybe I should go somewhere else where they had better glue. I did just that when I made an appointment with Rachel at Sheek. She is truly an artist, and my lashes have never looked better! She is a tue pro who has been at this for many years, and was a lash extensions instructor. She has a technique where she tapes back the top layer of lashes first to be able to reach all the underlying lashes. This only makes sense, as it ensures all the lashes get extensions, and it is SO much fuller!. But, no one else ever did that on me! She is slightly more expensive than the places I went where my lashes either fell out quickly, didn't look full or dark, or were uncomfortable...but, wow, what a difference and SO worth it! Lashes are one of the first things people notice about women...they should enhance the eyes. If you are going to have them enhanced, I recommend doing it right, with a true professional who doesn't nickel and dime you depending on what "kind" of lashes you request. She does a mixture on me and charges the same no matter what. They last a long time, and look great for the full time between fills. There is hardly any fallout. I can't say enough good things about this very talented and experienced lady! I'm so glad to have found her! read more

I planned to be in town visiting my best friend for her birthday. She recently beat the hell outta cancer and in honor of her special day, and the return of her hair, I scoured Yelp to find an amazing lash salon that could fit us in for a Saturday appointment within a week's notice. Firstly, lets start with the fact that Rachel got me the day after I reached out! I came in on 12/23 in the EVENING and was SO thrilled that she was able to squeeze me in! Meredith is SinSational!! She really takes time to put your lashes on correctly. She doesn't double stack lashes or over glue. If you are tired of over paying for mediocre lash extensions... Then LOOK no further!! I originally contacted Meredith because I had been scammed by one of those eye lash clubs. The lady not only double stacked one lash on two or three of my lashes, but it took forever to get an appointment with her. On my first appointment with Meredith, she took her time. Removed many of the over lapping lashes, explained to me about the excessive amount of glue used, and showed me the excess clue as she pulled the lashes she could off. It honestly took her 45 days (3 appointments) to get the old lashes off and replace with all new lashes. Prior to getting lashes by Meredith, I had a very limited number of experiences with lash extensions years and years ago. Two exactly. The first experience started out fairly pleasant and I fell asleep. When she was done, I looked in the mirror and tried to hide that I was negatively surprised by just acting surprised! I blamed my miscommunication with my disappointment of the end result and went straight home to "trim" the extremely long spider looking lashes and created something much worse. Needless to say I ended up picking them off that night. My second experience 8 years ago left me to believe I must not be a good candidate because I swear I could "feel" them poking my eyeballs! I work in the beauty industry but I am very low maintenance. I hate wearing makeup but it is a necessity for my profession. My own lashes are quite satisfactory when I wear mascara, but I have never been able to the wear waterproof formulas and therefore my eye makeup ends up looking like a melted ice cream cone by mid day. Fast forward to July 2015: I begin to see many signs for a franchise/corporate ? lash shop opening up near my area grocery store with their grand opening special. This finally pushed me to do my own research which led me Meredith. Meredith is very knowledgeable and passionate at her craft and profession. I didn't actually get to have services done as Meredith and Rachel were out of town and I had an eyelash "emergency" and needed help immediately. The lady who had done them botched them up and they were hurting and I needed them off/fixed. I texted Meredith very early in the morning and she called back almost immediately.
