We called the band before we planned anything else and picked our wedding date based on their availability! If that's not faith in their ability, I don't know what is. :) The band is fantastically talented and fun, and their manager Paul is responsive and easy to work with. They traveled from Boston to NYC to perform, and brought so much energy with them! The on-site manager/DJ Julian was charming and funny. AND the band went above and beyond and assisted my husband's best friend with a surprise tribute song to us (as part of her "best pal" speech)! It was a song and a moment that my husband and I will never forget, and Brickpark made it possible. We cannot recommend Brickpark enough. Willine was beyond helpful answering all my questions about logistics and making music suggestions when I came up blank for pieces I would like played. She exceeded my expectations in what a vendor should provide and made sure I was 100% happy with everything before my big day. For the ceremony, she was able to string together traditional compositions such as Canon in D and Arioso by Bach with more of the modern elements I wanted to include by adding the Beatles and the Theme Song from the movie "Up" which we used for the Processional. Blissful Sounds kept the guests entertained during cocktail hour with upbeat but subtle songs that filled the room and delighted everyone. I can not count how many compliments we received about them. They were even able accommodate a last minute change in the program the morning of my wedding when the officiant decided the groomsmen should walk in to the ceremony with official music. I am a 64 year old American woman and I have been taking guitar lessons with Jose for six years…read morenow. We started doing the lessons by zoom during COVID and we have stuck with zoom ever since by choice - less hassle and I can record the lesson material to practice from. I am awed that my hands can make such beautiful music now! I tried to be consistent - once a week with few cancellations. I originally just wanted to learn embellished folk music but at his gentle prodding I learned to read music and play some classical. Now it's mainly jazz and some Latin and world music. It has been like a miracle for me. He has made me so happy. As you can imagine I think everyone should study with Jose!!! Do yourself a favor and sign up. Limited street parking, but ample garages very close that charge $20 for event parking. Departing was quicker than a lot of venues I have been to from garage just up the street. Security and staff are quick to process and get you in. May want to pregame as drinks are a bit spendy here. Restrooms set off from the floor with dedicated entrance and exit to make the traffic flow good. Good smaller venue to get up close and personal for a show.

The high ceilings make it seem huge. The stage is large and spacious too. They had this red billowing curtain covering for the opening acts before the main band. Sound was great. Also the lighting effects for the different songs was good. We were quite close to the stage so had a great view. Great show! Restrooms are in the back and even though at the end of the show the women's had a long line but it moved fast. There are 17 stalls so that definitely helps move the line. There is a merch counter and a bar. The bar closed at the end of the show, so if you're looking for drinks or water make sure to get them during the show. Overall we had a great time!

If you want a band that will deliver a high-energy dance party, this is the band you've been looking for. The Broken Heels rock all the hits from the 60's through present day. Our favorite part of their repertoire: the extensive list of hits from the 80's, 90's, and 00's. As a couple born in the early 90's, this band stole our hearts by playing all our favorites from our childhood. We also requested "The Bones" by Maren Morris for our first dance, and they learned it with no issues and absolutely NAILED IT! Every member of the band is a professional musician, and they all bring an immense amount of talent to the stage. They play the iconic hits with perfection, and they also know how to rock.
