    Nice seats tonight!!

The Center for Arts in Natick (aka TCAN) is fabulous. We've been members for 4+ years now. They attract great acts, and have a cool movie venue. Plus, we love supporting the arts locally. Keep it up TCAN! You're an invaluable asset to Metrowest.

I love TCAN. It's a fun small venue to see a band. It's a converted former firehouse. I've seen Beatlejuice here twice. They put on a great show. The seats are assigned. People dance in the aisles or in the back near the sound board. There's a concession stand that sells beer & wine. I've had a great time even in the last row. Ticket costs are reasonable too.

A benefit of a smaller venue, artists like Jonathan Edwards greeting fans in the lobby after the show

Perfect venue! Great sight lines, acoustics and lighting and a crowd that appreciates this asset in their backyard.

Still, it beats the other IMAX theaters because of the comfortable seating and the buttkickers (rumbling vibrations). I met a friend there to see Godzilla v. Kong -- he had never been to a Jordan's IMAX and was surprised the seats didn't recline, but that didn't bother either of us. I was surprised that it wasn't packed for the first weekend of release but maybe it was the day before Easter, maybe it isn't as popular as I thought it would be (the movie) or maybe Natick doesn't get as much play, hard to say in one visit. But it worked to our advantage! I got in line about 30 minutes before the movie was due to start and they didn't let us in much before that. You enter from the back of the theater, which makes things much easier (in Reading you enter from the front/bottom and have to race up steps to get your seat of choice if it's packed). Otherwise, the experience was just as enjoyable. I think Reading is still my go-to, but I wouldn't hesitate to go to Natick if Reading wasn't available. It's nice to have options. We are very lucky to live in the Boston area. Oh, and I know some are put off by the lack of reserved seating, but you figure it out, just get there early if you're worried about getting the seat you want. And yes, one does have to walk through the store but several delightfully friendly sales people were happy to point me in the right direction and I didn't get too far before there was signage, so not to worry. Support our local theaters!!!!

This room is too small, and the screen is too large. There are only a handful of good seats. All others are too close to the screen. You'll get a stiff neck struggling to see the full picture, and rapid movement and extreme closeups will give you a headache. The special effects sound was also much too loud. And to the Jordan's staff, it's embarrassing that you sell such luxurious furniture in your store, while your chairs in the theater are so cramped in and uncomfortable. I so looked forward to seeing a great movie there, and when Oppenheimer arrived, I knew that was it. Instead, I left very, very disappointed. See their movies at other theaters. You'll save money and peace of mind, and you'll have a better experience.

Although my daughter will now be dancing for her high school dance team we will always have a special place in our heart for Miss Heejins! My daughter learned so much from dance technique to stage presence and everything in between! The confidence that she built as a dancer has been truly remarkable to watch. There are many dance studios in our area to consider but what I can tell you is that Miss Heejins is a notch above the rest. When at competitions, my husband and I would always be in awe of how sharp and incredible the Miss Heejin dances were. Sure other studios are good but theres a difference. We would call it the Miss Heejin snap! Clean, sharp, precise, and just pure talent! When my daughter faced challenges, Miss Heejin showed up! She went above and beyond to be there for her and help in ways that we will always be grateful for. Miss Heejin, Miss Laura, and all the staff at Miss Heejins, thank you and we will miss you all!

I wanted to buy a guitar but have some problems with my shoulder and needed help selecting a size and style I could use comfortably. I got no help from the big box stores. I walked into Music Go Round and was immediately greeted by a friendly guy named Jeff. I explained my problem and Jeff showed me a variety of styles and sizes. When he saw how uncomfortable I was, he showed me how to hold the guitar like I was playing classical and it was a revelation. It took all the pressure off my shoulder. He brought me a variety of guitars without trying to upsell at all and I landed on a beautiful Alvarez Parlor size with all Mahagony top, sides and bottom. This guitar new at Guitar stores is selling for $1,100. I bought this slightly used guitar for 1/3 that cost. And, to top it off, the store has a wonderful dog walking around. So, if you want personal service, no pressure sales, and a great bargain on a great guitar--I would stop here. At least that was my experience.

I can't say they actively discourage me in any way. It's just that some of them have a hard time feigning interest. Maybe I'm just not a cool person. I dunno. Some other places have no trouble treating me like I matter, so perhaps it isn't just me. Perhaps I have been encountering an employee who doesn't like his job. Regardless, I keep coming in to see their incredibly good, constantly-rotating inventory. One time, I even sold an amp for them just by being myself, playing some pretty tunes on a nice little setup. A nice older gentleman walked up and complimented the sound I was getting then politely asked if he could buy the amp. We had a wonderful talk and then he bought it while I walked out the door. That made me feel GOOD. That experience has sustained me over a few of the more negative experiences with aforementioned aloof employee.
