I can actually see the boats from our deck across the bay on the Tiverton side. The slips are great, the docks are in great shape and the amenities are fantastic too! They have a big in-ground swimming pool, laundry facility, nice big restrooms with showers, swing set for the kiddos, Weber grills at the entrance of each dock and a fantastic staff that is always about the property. After launching, an incident resulted in the vessel taking on water, requiring the vessel be pulled again the next day. Bill and crew came out on a Saturday to help my sorry butt, and did an excellent job. When the damage was revealed that had been causing the leaking, Bill Jr developed a novel approach to the repair that actually saved me thousands of dollars in repairs. Yesterday, all the repairs were completed, and Bill Jr and company delivered the vessel to my storage spot I'd built in my yard. He took the time to go over everything that had been accomplished, and also made recommendations regarding the winter storage that were very timely. Bottom line: Atlantic Marine Transport is very customer oriented, cost effective, hard working and diligent. They have single-handedly shown me, by mission of action, that there are still good people who work in the marine field. Keep them on your short list, and at the top of it.

What really makes Cove Haven is the people though - great management, friendly fellow Sperry-clad boat owners, and an overall calm that can only be achieved on the water.

I live in Connecticut but found Scott's Boat Service in Rhode Island. I had a number of calls to make sure we had the right equipment. Scott Lehigh, the owner, is extremely courteous, helpful and really spent the time to make sure I got the right equipment. He always got back to me promptly. I bought the equipment, his pricing was very reasonable, and he got the stuff shipped to me really quickly, at a very good price. I've dealt with a lot of mechanics, boatyards, dealers and miscellaneous boat and marine service people over the years, and many are unreliable and not even competent. But they don't get better than Scott's. Every aspect of my dealings with him was first rate.
