Roselyn Bakery cookies were part of my childhood. I love this tee! It is a thicker material, so it feels like it will wear well over time.

Great place to find various nostalgic and home pride themed tees. I felt they had a decent selection in terms of Indiana staples. Size options were well stocked in my opinion. I found the store to be clean, organized and intriguing. I intend to buy one or two more shirts off their website. I'm very pleased with my purchases (I indulged in a Roselyn Bakery and "Indy" tee) and highly recommend The Shop.

    Go colts!

I love the shop! They have a few different locations but my go to is the broadripple location. It's a decent sized store that is always kept very clean. The walls have vintage team pennants and news articles for big moments in sports history as well. The shirts always have a good variety of seasonal, nostalgic, college plus major league options. Not only do they have shirts they also have magnets, coasters, stickers and cozies. The sale rack in the back is always something to browse as well because you can usually find something awesome for way cheap! I'd recommend following them on social media because that's how you find out when they are doing the 20 dollar grab bag specials, which I've done and it's great to get 4 surprise shirts for only 20 bucks. They also have a shirt of the month club which I think is a great idea! What better way to get your shop fix mailed to you!

Love my Market Square Arena shirt from The Shop!!

Awesome store! I love their vintage-like shirts, they even have a soft feel like an old favorite shirt. I saw this store on local news station the other morning and had to check it out. I'm glad I did! The Shop has great shirts, some hoodies, jackets, a few other items, and even some kids sized shirts! During my visit they had a "happy hour" on shirts. 2 for $40! So, of course, I bought two shirts! I will definitely go back to The Shop to see what other great shirts they'll come up with!

    Always something current....

Great retro T-shirts and accessories. We got a new Purdue Jersey Tee straight from 1985. The shirts are super soft and very well made. I have a hammerdown shirt, looks like 1967 circa. Worth the trip

It isn't huge but has the wide array of items from suits and toes to hats and shoes. Keep in mind it is a consignment shop so nothing is returnable. So I recommend either being certain or trying it on to guarantee satisfaction. I loved the suit I picked for my husband but sadly the measurements we had were off and it doesn't fit. It was disappointing as we need a suit for an upcoming wedding. But I understand the policy. This the warning to try it on in the store! I'd go back (with him this time) and look again as they did have nice items. I was told I could also consign the item with them but that seems like a lot of extra work. I'll wait to see if maybe he can fit it down the road...or someone might need it more than us. But a nice spot for men's formal attire and nice dress shirts.

Newman & Company exclusively sells men's clothing. You'll find formal wear, street wear, sweaters and hoodies, t-shirts, jackets and coats, jeans and pants and slacks, shoes, belts and accessories here. The shop is well curated, and all you'll see on the racks are straight-up hits. I visited with hoodies in mind. I was shopping for my teenage son. I really didn't know what to expect from this consignment store, but I found way more than I imagined! My son wears a man's size in sweatshirts, so I found a large variety of hoodies and sweatshirts that he might like. Keep in mind that this is a store for adults, so sizes start at adult small, which is actually pretty big. There are no children's clothing sizes here. I walked away with three hoodies, and because they were gifts, I obviously didn't try them on. Although, if I wanted to, there are changing rooms in the store. Be aware that all purchases are final. No returns! The service is top-notch. The people who work here are friendly and ready to help, but will also hang back and let you do your thing if you don't need them. When it came time to check out, they neatly folded my clothing as if it was their own. They have a no-bag policy, so be prepared to carry your clothing out sans bag. One thing to note: Newman & Company is affiliated with Amanda's Exchange, so if you have a rewards account with one, it is honored at the other.

The Wild Goose Exchange is a cool vintage store / thrift store that started in Wisconsin, but they branched out and now there is also a store in Indy. I can't be arsed right now to find out why it's called The Wild Goose Exchange, but there are cement geese in the store -- you know, the kind that your grandmother has that she decorates for each holiday -- which is a cute and whimsical touch. This store has everything: women's clothing, men's clothing, accessories, shoes, jewelry and lots of hats. No kids' clothing, though. I saw a couple of graphic tees that I wanted, but I ended up purchasing an electric blue corduroy jacket, which will be perfect for the fall weather coming up. They have so many jackets here. This is the place to find something old and used to cover you up. The prices are great, considering. Sometimes, vintage clothing can be marked way the heck up. But the prices at The Wild Goose Exchange are fair. They also curate their stock really well! As I was scanning the racks and pawing through the clothing, I could tell that the items in the store were intentionally chosen. All of the items here are straight-up hits. Because The Wild Goose Exchange is located on Broad Ripple Avenue and there is no street parking, your best bet for parking is in back of the store, near the Vogue Theatre. If you park there, you can either enter The Wild Goose Exchange through the back near The Vogue, or walk around to the front. Two options for entering!

Yeah, I probably am. Anyway, that fun little bit aside that review made me want to make a stop to visit this new joint that I'd noticed but no really paid attention to. I'm not exactly the vintage shop targeting audience. After all, I AM vintage. Sigh. The Wild Goose Exchange started with spots in Appleton and Kenosha, Wisconsin and is now recently opened inside this Broad Ripple avenue storefront that is a little tricky to find and park for but definitely worth the effort. Vintage shops are a little weird for me. I like bargains, but I also feel like if it's too much of a bargain I start thinking it's just plain cheap. It's a fine balance. The Wild Goose Exchange really seems to find that balance quite well. They carry men's clothing, women's clothing, accessories, hats, watches, jackets, and a little bit more. As Nicole S. points out, this seems remarkably well curated. Don't be thinking this is your average thrift shop. It's not. It's also not really a pretentious vintage shop either. It feels communal with a strong emphasis on collaboration and giving back. The entrance is a little tricky in terms of accessibility, though it is what I'd consider accessible. The interior is definitely much better. I've always liked this spot and they use it well. As should be obvious, "wild goose" is a theme here. Hear me out. If you visit their website, there's a lot of "Where's the wild goose?" While I have zero clue why they went with this theme, I kept thinking to myself "wild goose chase" - which is, in fact, a fairly vintage saying. While I don't have a fashionable bone in my body (c'mon, you know it's true if you've met me), I really dug quite a few things here and items were in good condition and fairly priced. Parking is always a little tricky in Broad Ripple, but I find once I do it it's much easier than I expected. The Wild Goose Exchange feels like it belongs in Broad Ripple and I'd love to see its arrival trigger other arrivals around this area. For those who remember how Broad Ripple used to be, The Wild Goose Exchange brings that memory to life in its atmosphere and unique, inspired selections. I enjoyed this visit and will definitely return.

At first, I was a little disappointed in The Toggery because it seemed like the clothes were just a half step up from a regular Goodwill, but then I found the jeans, and now I'm not so sure. I think it all depends on when you shop, and what you're looking for. If you're looking for unusual vintage gems, you probably won't find that here. If you're looking for regional-trendy clothing ... you will probably find that here. I visited on a Saturday afternoon, and the racks seemed a little picked-through, but I think that's because this place is popular and so the racks probably were indeed picked through. They buy clothing during the weekdays, so if you want to find the good stuff, you should probably visit during the week, I'm thinking. The clothing is arranged very nicely, and everything is super organized and clean. They have dressing rooms available that you can just walk into (you don't have to flag down someone!), and they also have sale items that are pretty good. Like most consignment shops, they don't accept returns or exchanges, so make sure you're happy with your items before you purchase!
