Sierra, ALWAYS hooks it up with a great fade! They also know how to cut long hair, which as we all know can be tricky. Probably the nicest looking barbershop in this crackhead town with some super fine hynas that cut hair. Not my go to spot for a cut but can't go wrong with them cause they won't butcher you like these other barber shops that have the same name (e.g. marine cut, marine barber, marine fade). Lemme just start off by saying this place knows how to cut hair. The problem here is that every single time you're waiting, guarantee after every cut the barbers will take a 20-30 min break. After years of disappointments in barbers next to every Marine base that knows they can give you a terrible cut and still keep in business, I think I have finally found the one place I will always go to. Haircut is good, service is excellent, I feel like a normal guy getting a haircut because I didn't get my neck snapped or a Mach Jesus quick haircut that looks like a moldy avocado. While I totally understand that this is a barber shop. I was in the area with my friend. We stopped in because he needed his hair cut. Jen did an amazing job with him, and is super friendly, and professional. I decided to get a couple inches taken off my LONG hair. While Jen could not accommodate me. The other lady, Becca was more than helpful and gracious enough to take a few gross inches off. Nice and blunt the way I like it. Both ladies were so friendly, and did a great job on the both of us. This place takes until Christmas to get you through and done. They take appointments ahead but don't mark which names on the list are appointments, and there are no number tags so basically people just get to cut in line. Average cut time is 15-20 minutes and that's not even with a razor or cream. Also, prices just went up to $17 for a standard military cut on May 12, 2022. They expect a Marine to pay $68 a month to stay in regs PLUS tips? That's ridiculous. I'll be going to stud cuts just up the street or on base from now on. read more

Very disappointed with them after today. Arrived just after 8:30 expecting a little bit of a wait. After waiting for an hour, my name came up but I was asked to wait longer because Krista had an appointment. Would have loved to known that prior to waiting an hour. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time Krista has deflected people waiting. Extremely unprofessional. I've been going here for over a year but won't be going back. I have tried most barbers in 29 palms and this is by far the best one yet. I will admit they are a little more expensive then everyone else at $12 but worth every penny.
