Love this outdoor mall! Lots of stores spanning a pretty big distance so it will be a lot of walking or you'll have to drive to some stores. I came on a Friday and there were plenty of spots but it was during the work day. Old Navy, Charlotte Russe, Marshalls, Dillards, Bath & Body Works, New York & Company, and many more. read more

Great area with a bunch of different shops and a few restaurants. It is very well maintained and clean. All the stores are in a "shopping strip" style area. There's something for everyone: Belk, Dillard's, Dick's Sporting Goods, Joanns. Gamestop... just to name a few. For the most part, the layout of this place works, however, it does get busy sometimes. Excellent place to come and shop. I am not very keen on buying shoes and clothing online. I like to touch and feel and try everything on. It's sad to see what is happening with the "brick & mortar" retailers. I understand how convenient it is to shop online, I only hope the public will continue to patronize the retail locations. Great place to shop!!! VS I was buying for myself then I started seeing all of the kids wearing it. So I purchase the tights for myself & get her everything else. H&M has a Good selection to buy from. Bath & Body is Great.. Journey is ok.. America Eagle has Good sale from time to time. Now they have an Olive Garden over there now that's a plus!!! read more

The Shoppes at River Crossing is probably the only place in Middle GA where I genuinely enjoy the shopping experience. It is tucked away in a nice area of Macon heading off of I-75 North toward Forsyth and has an amazing selection stores from VS to Loft to Barnes and Nobles to Coach to Kay Jewelers to Men's Warehouse to Joann Fabrics...the list goes on. It's really a one-stop shop. The nice thing about this outdoor mall is that there are restaurants for those who are hungry enough for a full sit down meal. However, I do agree with Tori W's assessment of needing to throw in a Starbucks or Urban Outfitters or even maybe an Anthropologie. I know there is a cafe in Barnes and Nobles, but it's just not the same. Anyway, I always come to this mall due to it's awesomeness and it's uniqueness in the barren area that is Middle Georgia. read more

Very nice outdoor mall. They have a lot of stores for women to choose from, like Ulta, Dillards & Victoria's Secret. I Think they could bring more food choices to this mall but its a nice mall nonetheless. read more

Beautiful outdoor mall. Not humongous & not too small. They need more eating spots & more then then coach to attract different types of buyers. Let's try an Urban Outfitters, or a Starbucks. To sum it up, beautiful "outlet" styled mall. If you have done outlet shopping that's pretty much how this mall is set up. I came for my favorite stores and fortunately they were all next to each other. H&M which is merchandised beautifully, NY&Co., The Children's Place, and Crazy 8s. The barnes and noble on the other side of the mall is one the most organized stores I've ever seen. They have a small children's section and they also have a cafe. I would diffinitely come back to this mall. read more

Of all the places in all the state, this has to be the worst. This shopping center was either designed by someone very young or someone very, very old, either of which weren't in command of their mental faculties. First, the main highway to it could have had a bit more thought put into how the lanes go, the traffic lights and turn signals, but that's merely icing on the cake. This place appears to be partly designed to have the feel of a small town downtown but they utterly, utterly failed. There are two one-way, one lane streets/lanes that service most of these shops. Parking to the right and parking to the left, ONE single lane in the middle. If you're driving and looking for the business you're going to get hit by someone backing out. It's like they designed it to be a fender bender zone. Worst thing I've seen since "The Matrix Reloaded." The one side that has a two-way lane that you can drive down and not worry about someone backing out or pulling out in front of you is also really stupid. You're looking for the business, you see it but you can't park in the street, you have to park in the adjoining parking lot. Well, that makes sense, if you could get to the parking lot. Driving north, when you see the business, if you're letting someone out, that's fine. If you have to park, you go past the business to the corner and if you turn right, you're back on the main road and have to go a couple of blocks with stop lights and navigate this whole mess once again like some cheap and bad video game. If you turn left, you have to go one block down, figure out who has the right of way when you do the U-turn at the end (it's unmarked) and then one block back up, a couple of blocks to the right and then another left to get into the parking lot. Got that? Then, when you park, if you have no trouble walking, you can navigate the little grade that goes down to the street you have to cross and if you make it across to the sidewalk where the business--that you hope is still in business after going through all this--is still there. If you have trouble walking or have someone in a wheelchair, forget. I don't see how they got away without making this handicap accessible. I do have to compliment the landscaper with his expensive choice of ornamental fir trees that lines the sidewalk once you finally make it there. The fir trees smell like Christmas. The problem is that this type of tree doesn't grow well in this climate and most are dead or dying. All it's going to take is a cigarette lighter to set off a fire. If you don't mind getting into an accident, a fire, falling down a graded incline, getting run over or walking your legs off, it's not that bad. It's no worse than a six year old using a dremmel drill performing a root canal on someone without anesthetic. read more

You know, they have so many different stores here you really just cant choose. The only drawback to this place is that the sidewalks dont have overhangs, so when it gets hot or even when it rains, it's down right dreadful. The vast array of food combined with some fun times shopping make River Crossing the ideal place to be. read more

I'm from California and this shopping center reminds me of home! The local southern chains make it feel like the south! Excellent prices and sales! The traffic can get hectic during holidays but otherwise the gorgeous Georgia weather makes this place perfect place to shop outside in winter time! read more

It's alright for this area I guess. Since the older mall has gotten rid of really great stores and can look awfully abandoned I guess this will do. I love ulta....barnes and noble..charming charlies ..V secrets...and bath and body works...the candle place has no black candles so i dont go there anymore. Its an average mall... read more

Nice mall. Several great stores for women like Victorias Secret, Ulta, Dillard's, and more. More cheap food choices in the area would be great (Dairy Queen is the only option under $10 per person and they're very limited on their options). Overall, River Crossing is a good shopping experience in a great atmosphere and the best option south of Atlanta with the exception of Tanger Outlet at Locust Grove. This is my go to mall within a decent driving distance of home. read more

I absolutely love this mall! Having an outdoor mall is so nice. The stores here are all excellent, and I have been in almost all of them. Just a sampling is: Dillard's, Belk, Dressbarn, Joann's, American Eagle, Game Stop, Jos. A. Banks, Barnes and Noble, etc. there are also a lot of great restaurants, ranging from Smoothie King to Chili's. There's Mexican and Italian and several other types too. Everything is well run. The employees at nearly all of the stores are excellent and helpful. I especially frequent American Eagle and Barnes and Noble, and I haven't encountered an employee there yet who was unfriendly. The outdoor scenery is excellent as well. It's always especially nice at Christmas. There is a great security system; I almost never go out to the mall without seeing a security car or a security guard. Everything is very well lit at night, even further out in the parking lot. Whenever I go shopping, my first choice are these malls. They're great! read more

Didn't know these shops were thee until a co-worker told me. I live in Locust Grove and there is awful shopping. I'm from a larger city that have taste. I finally found some great shopping and loveeee the stores. The stores are tasteful, no teenage shops. Nice restaurants to, so shop then have a glass of wine and nice dinner. Perfect day. .I wish McDonough would get some taste, so depressing living there read more
