I'm becoming a fan of this mall, loved going to the Fossil store, and have been to Lens Crafters a few times also. I haven't lived on this side of town in years so I don't come here rarely, I choose to go to the Parks Mall. Q went into Q with my 5 year old (not QLuv) and the koreans wouldn't even look at us. I was ready to purchase the things in my hands. I even walked up to the counter and saw a sign that says "CASH ONLY- next register". I was confused because there was no next register and when I tried 3 times to ask the man what to do, he completely ignored me. so I put my belts and outfits back and left. This mall is all on one level, level 2 from the anchor levels. There is plenty of covered parking. First floor is usually empty then you take one of the elevators to the mall level. Plenty of shops to enjoy. A Sam food court but also plenty of restaurants around the outside as well. read more

Located in Hurst, the Shops at Northeast Mall has over 100 different stores, including Dillards and PINK, and Auntie Annie's pretzels (so good). This is an indoor mall, with expansions (stores all around outside also). In addition, the movies theater is fantastic! The Rave Cinemas 18 and XD is comfortable, easy to access. And has delicious popcorn. The refreshment lines tend to back up, so get your snacks early. read more

This is the only mall in the metroplex that closes an hour earlier even tho covid quarantine has been over for a year. Food court has a few updates but who wants to go inside a mall for a to go order and deal with the shorter hours ? beyond that; its gone downhill in a major way and the only options left are ghetto stores and kiosks. I occasionally like to drop in to Miss A for some cheap lip balms; but even there the hours are much shorter like the rest of the mall but unlike everywhere else and they still don't carry a lot of items listed on their website. :/ Sucks to see your hometown deteriorate all around you but oh well. read more

THIS REVIEW IS IN REFERENCE TO GIANI'S MENS FORMAL SHOP IN NORTHEAST MALL!! I'd give a zero if possible!!! STAY FAR THE HELL AWAY FROM THIS CON MAN AND THIS STORE!!! My son went in to buy his first tux. This man was telling us no to things we wanted and instead pushed products on us. He wouldn't let us choose anything only put in his own input. We didn't have a chance to say a word and this guy acts like English hinders the communication, but I assure you this man knows exactly what he's doing. He gave us no prices, nothing is marked and he's picking out a tie, socks, shoes, a jacket, pants and then he starts marking for tailoring without telling us if we are buying or are we renting. The way he's choosing everything my son thinks he's renting and that he doesn't have any choices at all. So my child gets to the register and this con man charges him $500 for this disaster!! Telling us "we got the special price, oh I bet we did!! The cheap ass shoes smell like a Walmart bike tire and are hideous!! The tie was 5 times to big of a bow and we have to replace it because NO REFUNDS nobody shares that but of info either (I'm contacting our lawyer for advice on a civil case) So my son gets the jacket home after this man pushes a shirt and everything else and he tries it all on together and the jacket no longer fits with the other layers. So we go back after seeing online that this store doesn't allow returns BIG SHOCKER!!! Took my bestie out shopping. So I bought her here today. We spent hours catching up, laughing and shopping all afternoon. Time just flew by.

This is "my" mall. It is no longer the closest mall to me, but it is the one I always go to. That being said, it is showing its age. And lack of updating. The parking lot is full of potholes. Everyone has their favorite places to park, but my desired location is getting a bit ridiculous. You're driving around holes. They do have free WiFi, which is nice. However, if you choose to check your email in one of the provided chairs in the mall, it will be ripped and uncomfortable. There are empty sore locations, empty kiosks, and the only bathroom in the food court. There are bathrooms in the department stores, but that is the only one in the mall proper. I was in the other day and the mall was noticably warm. It is June in Texas, it may not be packed during the week, but if you want people to shop, it needs to be comfortable. There are still good stores to visit. The anchor stores like Macy's and Dicks Sporting Goods are still there doing good business, as well as Sephora and Michael Kors. The movie theater has had some upgrades and new places opening in the food court. It just seems the actual mall could do some things to make it better. And they're just not. read more

This mall is near my house and I been going to it for years. It's a love hate relationship because I love the stores but hate all the constriction on the highway nearby that never sees to stop. They are always brining in New businesses which is good but at the same time I don't do well with change. On certain days or holidays there never seems to be enough parking. I will however give them a compliments on the security staff. They are visible patrolling the parking lot and the inside of the mall. The bathrooms by the food court need to be upgraded and looked after more frequently. I feel like they need to give built a bear an actual store instead of a kiosk. Also I like to see more Christmas decorations thought the building during the holidays but that's just me. Overall I love this place but compared to other locations this one is falling behind on store variety, visual artwork for patrons to see and holiday decorations. read more

Although my heart was set at shopping at either NorthPark or Galleria for the Christmas season, I chose North East to stay fairly local in Tarrant County solely for convenience purposes. The result? Very impressed with the amount of retailers that I am accustomed to in Dallas, with some notable exceptions (Ralph Lauren Luxury is one of them) that were missing. No matter. From a distance, you would think that North East would have a similar layout and store selection that is comparable to Irving Mall (the worst mall in the DFW area), yet this is not the case. Even with the Christmas crowds, North East was very easy to walk through, find quality merchandise & coffee, get gifts wrapped, and ultimately enjoy being around the Tarrant County folks & employees that actually appreciated being there (kudos to the employees of Macy's, Dillards, Nordstrom, and Pandora). The security presence was noted, yet there wasn't a time where I felt that the crowds were rough and unsafe, unlike a certain aforementioned DFW mall. Getting into and departing this mall can be challenging. I highly recommend using the parking garage by JC Penney in order to be closer to the 820 South & West exits. read more

Okay. You should all know that I don't enjoy going to the mall. I get really impatient and claustrophobic and my stomach always hurts and I typically get a headache. Hahah. That sounds dramatic but it's true. Having lived in the middle of DFW all my life, I've been surrounded by many malls, and they all seem relatively the same to me. I'm not sure how to review a large entity like a mall, but here goes. I suppose that North East Mall is... pretty solid? There have been several upgrades over the last few years and overall, I like 'em! JC Pennys has been totally redone and is MUCH, much nicer inside. Plus, there's a Sephora in there :) The food court covers most of the food bases and almost all of the department stores are semi-organized, semi-clean, and fairly modern (except for maybe Sears. But if you're shopping for home-improvement goods or tools at the mall for some reason, you gotta have a Sears). There are also a few new "designer" stores at North East Mall now, like Coach and Michael Kors. I think these stops are so funny because there's always like, 8 products total inside... and never any customers. :( So, I tend to buy my clothes online nowadays, but I still find myself at North East Mall more often than I'd like. Suddenly I'll need a dress for an occasion, a new pair of shoes, a gift for some kind of shower, holiday, or birthday, etc... Now listen to me, my friends. Never go to this mall (or any) on a Saturday. It's incredibly crowded for god knows what reason. People are in there just FOR FUN. Just hanging out. Walking slowly in my way. It blows my mind but there you have it. I try to only go on weekday evenings when it's much more peaceful and you can get in and out relatively quickly. Hmm... what else? My one true complaint about North East Mall right now is that there are too many of those super-cheap-trashy-junior-girl's-stores. Like, those shops with weird names that sell neon plastic leggings and crop tops that say "Bitch" on them in rhinestones. What? Oh well. read more

Wow, I can't believe I'm the first to report NE Mall. So I've been going here since 1990. How its changed! It used to be notable only for the large, garish pirate ship they had coming out of the arcade and into the food court (that's the reason I went, anyway). Several face lifts later, its hardly recognizable from the retro brick interior of its past life. Long since revamped into a "mega mall," its complete with high-end department stores such as Nordstrom and Macy's (Saks is gone now). Its large, sprawling, and one story (except for department stores), so expect to do some walking. Its a fabulous place for nice/expensive/designer clothes shopping, but for anything else? Forget it. That's outside this mall's arena. For example, there's not even a book or toy store in this mall (although there are some nearby). The mall is large, airy, and often crowded. Perfect place to go with girlfriends, but there are better places for dates and kids. read more

This mall has really upgraded its stores over the past few years. If you have not shopped here in awhile try Northeast mall again. I suggest that you try parking by Macy's as when you walk into the mall you are right in the center of the mall. Lots if security which is nice, makes you feel safe. They are totally out of their Check-In Deal! This makes me sad. BUT! On a good note... The stores are pretty nice! A few nicer stores which are harder to find like Sephora and Nordstroms (they don't have them in ETx!!). And some fun less-expensive options like Charming Charlies and Forever 21. Was very disappointed in the Santa setup a the mall. We made reservations today for 2:15pm. That required we choose a time, then prepay for a photo package. When I arrived at 2:10, there was a sign that said to text SANTA to a number. I did. It gave me a barcode telling me to show to photo desk. There was a long line, so I had to go through the exit to ask someone. The response was to go stand in line. I don't really understand the concept of the reservation, other than to take my money. Not sure about the business model however, Take online money for reservations. Don't really reserve a time. Let others walk up, and hope no one gets too pissed off and you get everyone's money. I demanded a refund as the line would have been 2 hours. I was directed to a website to do it. I have done that and can only hope I am refunded. read more

By reading the prior reviews, I'm not sure if my expectations of a mall might be too high for this area. I gave this mall 2 stars for being fairly clean, however I found the food court was majorly lacking and I'm surprised it's actually called a food court with maybe 3 open food spot with actually staff standing there. The others were closedown or had no employees in sight so it appeared close. Yes there's a few well known store like Macy's, Nordstrom, Express and Sephora. However the stock in these stores were a joke. Macy's had major renovations going on at time, so let's give them a pass but Nordstrom and Express are two stores I have never walked out of empty handed. This time I did, the selection was horrible. On top of the bad selection, there was this mall cop on her sage way/scooter going back and forth which was annoying. If this was the only mall open I rather stay home and shop on amazon. read more

Although I do like this mall, I have been less and less pleased every single time I come here. Not only is this place overly crowded, but the teenagers that use this mall as a stomping ground have made it very uncomfortable for us who don't like to hear cussing and screaming teenagers every single minute of every day. The stores are pretty great, but I tend to like the ones OUTSIDE of the mall more than the ones on the inside. Like Barnes N Nobles, Best Buy, Ulta, Petco and Old Navy. I also absolutely despise the people that they hire to man those irritating side booths in the middle of the walk-ways. I have had to flat out yell at some man who was forcibly trying to straighten my hair for me. No, I do not want to buy your over-priced hair straightener and no I don't want your greasy hands touching me. These people make this mall experience absolutely UNBEARABLE. If you are looking for a family-friendly mall with plenty of great stores, parking, rides, restaurants, games and activities for the kids and parents, then this is NOT the mall for you. This is probably my favorite mall. The location is clean and they have a Bath and Body Works location. I love that the parking lots are always clean and accessible. If you go into the mall through the dillards location than you won't have far to walk. I just enjoy this mall. read more

Out of the handful of malls I have been to, this mall has the best selection of clothes for girls who have a lot of junk in the trunk. Northeast Mall is not scary like Hulen Mall. Northeast mall is easier to traverse than Arlington's Park Mall which has some dangerous activity at night. Northeast mall isn't perfect but it does the job. Sure, Southlake Town Center has great shops but can you really shop there? Well maybe the Southlake people can but for the most part I window shop in Southlake, hit the Clarks store for a new pair of shoes, and that's about it. Once again, Northeast Mall wins out overall. Sure the Shops at Willow Bend are nice but Northeast Mall is a little less overbearing and there's far more plus sized clothes at Northeast. The newly revamped JC Penny's is pretty awesome and even has a mini Sephora downstairs if you don't want to walk the whole way across the mall for your Bare Minerals stuff. Parabens, they're evil and Bare Minerals makes the best paraben free mascara. And I dig their Macy's too. read more

When you've lived in Dallas and had super easy access to Northpark, the other malls just don't really compare. I wouldn't even put North East on the same level as the Galleria. They've got a bunch of hoodrat stores, but all your normal players too. The shoe section in Nordstrom is small but the Dillard's shoe dept is pretty large- trade offs I guess. read more

I really like this mall. It's close to home for me and basically the only place I have been going for the past 2 weeks I have been in Texas. I didn't even know about the physical MALL PART until today. Another Gamestop! Woohoo. I was happy to see a theater and a very nice food court. There isn't an unnecessary second floor like other malls. To tell you the truth...I like this mall better than the parks. I only wish they had a few more stores and I'd be set. read more

Over the last decade I've visited quite a few Malls across the country. This mall is very clean and well maintained. Parking was plentiful. Quick exit off I820. The overall comfort level while we were here was nice. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The Food court offered a descent selection of different food choices. We splurged on Phil's Philly shop. It's average looking, it has average stores, it has the average array of mall cops, etc. The only thing that this mall really has that most don't is a Dick's sporting goods. Northeast Mall was the place to be in NE Tarrant when I was at the FRHS. It has expanded since then. Currently it is anchored by Nordstroms, Foley's, Dillards, JC Penny's, Macy's... For a bit it was the largest or second largest non-outlet mall in Texas; I think it is like third now. The mall is typically clean. It is typically filled with high schoolers. It is in Texas so there is plenty of parking! The thing with the Northeast Mall is that it used to be one part of the answer to the trivia question, of what two malls are closest in the DFW area. The other mall was North Hills Mall. Over a ten-year period from about 1987 to 1997, NE Mall slowly killed NH Mall, taking away one tenant after another. It was pathetic to go to NH Mall last time I went there. It may not even exist anymore. read more

This is my neighborhood Mall but I don't come in here often enough. The parking is insane, if you do not get there early enough be prepared to spend some time looking for a spot. Every time I come something has closed and another thing has taken it's place. I do like this mall but something is missing, just can'y put my finger on it. I thought it was Forever 21 then they got one and something is still missing. They do not have an P.S by Areopostle which my kids really enjoy so that may be what's lacking for me as a Parent. I don't always find what I am looking for but I find good deals from time to time. The mall has and outdoor strip mall right across the street for those who are looking for Justice, Barnes and Noble or Old Navy just to name a few. A fair selection of Restaurants too. Not crazy about Rave the movie theater but it serves it's purpose. I was able to get my check in deal but not with a smile, that lady was mean. She practically threw it at me. read more

When I first moved to town, I was 21 and all of the women's clothing stores were too fancy for my taste and budget. I couldn't even afford to shop at A&F. Nine years later and another digit (or two?) in my salary, all the nicer stores (Saks, Ann Taylor (or was it loft?), Eddie Bauer, A&F, etc.) have moved out only to be replaced by a whole lot of stores that cater to 15 year old girls. There are already too many teenagers causing a ruckus, I can't imagine what it will be like when Forever 21 opens up. Even though this place is less than 3 miles from home, 90% of my shopping is now done at Southlake Town Square or Northpark Mall. And yeah, could somebody PLEASE get those annoying kiosk people to leave us alone! Northeast mall might be my favorite mall. It has all of the stores that I care about (Auntie Anne's Pretzels, Gamestop, etc) and all of my wife's favorite clothing stores. It also has a reasonable looking central area which has a board game store usually. The layout is a little strange but when you get used to it it's not so bad. There is also a Rave theater which has beautiful projectors and does 3-d movies... but no student prices and it's around $9 for a non-3-d non-matinee. Also I find the food court options rather blah. Sarku Japan is terrible (couldn't even write Sarku in japanese...), the American-chinese place is mediocre, and there are mostly just chains beyond that. The one good non-chain (?) that I've tried there is Phil's Philly Cheesesteaks, which is pretty good, if a little pricey for mall food (I think fries are separate or something). As far as chains, they have a chick-fil-a that I will go to occasionally, and I think my wife goes to the generic crummy pizza place sometimes. read more

Your typical suburbia mall. You have the big department stores (Nordstrom, Macys, Dillards, Sears) and then those stores are surrounded by the medium to small sized shops (Gap, Abercrombie, Foot Locker, etc.). The property is very well lit and clean. It's large enough that it probably rarely seems busy. There's a good mix of stores. The food court is odd- there's really no typical or well-known brands in the space. Chik-fil-a is the only "name" and it was freaking packed! Other than that, there's a Asian spot (think Panda Express), Corn Dog, Pizza, etc. Again, the food court area is clean with ample seating. I don't know what else to say. I stopped at the Sees candy shop and bought some delicious chocolates. I saw some neck and shoulder massage stations by the water feature- they were charging $15 for 10 minutes and every chair was full. Ok yeah, there's nothing to make this mall better or different than any other. Expect all of the major brands, kids being dropped off by grateful parents, seasonal music piping through the common areas, and that damned Abercrombie cologne smell as you get within 100 yards of that store.
