I visited this Dillards to do an exchange and was pleasantly surprised by the customer service. One of the sales associates greeted me as soon as I was on the floor with the children's clothes. she then helped me find the correct size and do an exchange. The process was seamless and successful. It's that time of the year for weddings, so off I went to my go-to Dillards store at northeast mall. They have a great selection of cocktail and party clothes for all shapes and sizes. I narrowed it down to 3 dresses, so I brought all 3 home -- I'll have to make a strict decision, because I can't keep all 3. Then I also found a pair of sparkly sandals that are ahhhdorable! I love this store! The Ralph Laren Polo section is large with the latest styles and the Men's Fragrant section is outstanding with all the brands but also the most beautiful sales ladies ever! Dillard's has turned this store in North East Mall in Hurst, TX into the top notch in the DFW METROPLEX! Wonderful, friendly, amazingly helpful people in every department. Last summer I purchased furniture, bathroom towels and washcloths and bed pillows. So happy with all of these. Yesterday Leslie redesigned my face with wonderful cosmetics and I am thrilled! I don't leave reviews very often, but I went to this Dillard store in Northeast Mall, I went to get a cologne that I pretty much knew the name of it, but wasn't 100%, the woman was very attentive. She saw me coming before I could see her and asked if I needed help. I said yes of course because I did , her name was RANDA. let me just say that her experience, knowledge, attitude, professionalism , Everything about this woman was spot on, 100% A1 perfect. She had me with the product I needed and back out the door in less than 7 min . Thank you RANDA , for showing me professional courtesy to me and my valuable time. We came here for the leap year day which was the end of a great sale they had. There are plenty of places to park and there weren't too many people at Dillard's. I like that they have a second level dedicated to bags, makeup, perfumes, purses and shoes. Then the third level is dedicated to women's clothing/sleepwear. I like the brand copper key, it's a nice between the juniors and young adult department. They have several racks dedicated to clearance with an additional 40% off. I discovered the brand Takara which had simple but classic styles of clothing. I ended up getting two blouses, white and pink. I didn't catch the retail sales associate name that rang up my clothes, she was friendly. I'll probably be back when Dillard's has another sale. read more

Hurst, Texas on 7/4/24. I bought several items and finished my transaction at 6:03pm. When I tried to exit all but one door on the lower level west side of the building had been locked. I had to walk around the store and up a flight of stairs to where I parked a few feet from the door on the east side of the store when it was 100 degrees and with an injured foot and hip. This is not the way to win customers back to your store. I was in so much pain by the time I walked to my car that I had tears in my eyes. The store needs to allow at least 10 minutes for customers to exit. All doors were locked at 6:05pm. The items I purchased were at full price. 14 hours later these items were 40% off, so I begrudgingly went back to the store to get a price adjustment. I was told they were unable to do the adjustment. Now I have to return to the store again to return all of the items and repurchase them if I choose to keep them. This makes more work for your employees and is inconvenient for your customers as well as making me question keeping these items at all.This is not the customer service I expected from Dillards. I live in DFW and have many retail choices. I am Ambassador level at Nordstrom because they have wonderful customer service. My experience at Dillards was extremely disappointing, and I will be taking my money elsewhere in the future. read more

Tried really hard to buy a pair or two of shoes but since they were on the clearance rack, the young man was far, far less than helpful. The older gentleman who worked there was no more helpful than the first. My husband was trying to purchase several very expensive shirts, but there was very little inventory. I needed a dress for a ball and being that it's prom season, Dillard's came through for me. First of all, I was asked if I needed help finding anything right away, which is nice. I just wanted to try on some gowns, so I didn't really need help. Plus I had my mother with me! Dillard's was kind of a mess. Only one fitting room was open in the women's department and it was extremely crowded. Why not open up the others? I ended up browsing the junior's department as well and found a simple black dress I really loved, but again the crowd was insane and people were having to wait for dressing rooms, which were full of discarded clothes and hangers and dirty carpet. Shopped today for some dress shirts, ties and other miscellaneous. I have used Dacoyta for my personal shopper since the previous associate Paris left the company. Dacoyta is a sharp guy and very helpful when I am needing a suit or dress coat. I was in today looking for a couple dress shirts and ties. I showed Lilly the suit that I would be wearing, reviewed my taste and what I was needing. Lilly was able to help and I can't say thank you enough. As most of us I am very busy with life. I am not a person who swings into a department store for a cheap $25 dress shirt. I believe if you buy quality it last and your clothing is part of your first impression. I don't know that I agree with it but it's just the way it is. Give 2 equally qualified candidates with equal education and skills. I am going to remember the candidate that was dressed sharp. That doesn't mean that you have to spend your life's savings. When you find an associate /employee that you like. Stick with them. They get to know what you like and don't like. In the case of Dillards most of the associates work on commission and must meet certain sales numbers or they're out. The associates are there to help and when a new product comes in, sales event, or clearance events. They can let you know saving you time. I will continue to use the two clerks for all my shopping needs at Dillards. Dacoyta in mens suits. Lilly in mens shirts, ties and accessories. Now my negative and typically I would rather use the term growth opportunity or something similar. Dillards for many years has had the same policy when it comes to sales for the associates. Okay, maybe it works for the management but my experience has been that it doesn't work for the associates. I like walking into the home department and looking for Ruth to get her assistance. She knows me by name and honesty knows most of her regularsby name. As a long time and I mean long time customer of the store I have seen how managers will come in and make changes and not understanding impact to the customer. As an example, a long time associate who had worked in her department for several years. Was a great associate for the customer. She knew the home/china department and I was shocked to be told that the new management sent her to the women's department. Which she absolutely hated. I would still stop by and say hello until she finally just quit. If I was rating the company or the management I would give them a TWO. But I am reviewing the 3 associates who ROCK at this particular store. read more

My husband purchased 5 Roundtree & Yorke Gold Label white dress shirts at this store. After losing some weight, he decided to take two unopened shirts back to exchange for a smaller size. They accused my husband of not purchasing the shirts at Dillard's and refused to exchange the shirts. These shirts are $70 a piece. He asked to speak to the manager. The manager said he didn't want to lose his job because my husband was upset and offered to take the shirts back with a credit of $19 a shirt, that they then could turn around and sell for $70 each! Needless to say, Dillard's has now lost a long time customer. Dillard's cards have been cut up. We will not be buying from them again. read more

My wife purchased a $60 dress for my daughter. It has sparkles. She wore it one time and it bled sparkles all over my car as well as all over my daughter's body. We had to lint roll the car (vacuum wouldn't work). Worse than that, the dress has some large spots where sparkles are missing, which makes it unusable. Clearly it has a defect. My wife tried to return it and was turned away. I called and spoke to that associate, as well as the assistant manager, both of whom told me it was not returnable since it had been worn. I then called the corporate office and was told the same thing. This is an unfair policy that does not consider the possibility of a defective product. read more

So this review is just for the perfume counter and sales staff there. I was on the hunt for a certain scent, but could not recall what it was. Not only did the sales associates help me find the perfume I was looking for, they helped me with alternatives should I want to try something new (but similar). I also learned you (or in this case my wife) have 30 days to return a fragrance if you are not completely satisfied with it (this takes away a lot of stress if you are buying for someone else). This gave me more confidence to try something new, and fortunately for me Thuy loved her Bvlgari Jasmin Noir Perfume. read more

If you are interviewing they give you the run around a lot . I let the job go because I interviewed and they didn't reach out for 2 weeks . I called they gave me a 3rd interview. I didn't go cause the girl I interviewed with had already started to working so I felt like they only gave me the 3rd interview cause I called because they had no clue who I was when I called . They texted me out the blue telling me if I can come in I went in. I was disappointed by my shopping experience today at Dillards at Northeast Mall in Hurst. This store Manager appears to be completely unconcerned there is a health pandemic in Texas, and is not making attempts at having a sanitary store. There are no social distancing markers anywhere in the store. Many shoppers tapped the keypad at the register, and it was never sanitized in between each person. Furthermore, there was no hand sanitizer for either shoppers or employees to use. All dressing rooms were open, with left clothes hanging from the hooks. There appeared to be no attempt to segregate clothes that had been tried on. To top it off, a saleswoman pulled down her mask, and while walking, shouted to her friend across the aisle. All signs that the Management is not concerned. Go to TJ Maxx instead. read more

I was looking for a doormat that I saw a couple of months ago. I called ahead and Ketsana said they had one left and got it to hold for me. When I got there I shopped around and met her. Ketsana was very knowledgeable and friendly about all of their products. Employees in the shoe department are polite but not quite the most helpful. I'm referring to a recent situation where I asked an associate in Dillard's shoe department for a specific shoe size that they turned out not to carry in the store so I settled for a larger size that fit OK in the store but once I took them home, I realized they were too big. I called the store to find out what I could do since I purchased the wrong size and needed to exchange it for a size they didn't carry in store and an associate told me that they can order the correct size for me when I return the original pair. If the associate who sold me the first pair of shoes had offered to order the size I initially asked for, I wouldn't have had to make another trip to Dillard's. Employees should be trained to offer to order the correct size if they don't carry it in store because if you're like me, you may not have realized that was an option at the time. read more
