Visit Date: July 28, 2025 into July 29, 2025 My boyfriend's family was staying here for their Summer Vacation. My boyfriend was there from Monday to Wednesday, my son and I came out to stay Monday night into Tuesday and we left Tuesday night because I had a notary class the next day on July 30. I did love it here, my one issue was not enough parking. They only allowed one car per room to park on the property. I had so much stuff with me because I was not only packed for one night in Wildwood but packed for the next week without my son in case I ended up sleeping over anywhere. I usually don't sleep over anyone's house but my sister's but I always carry extra clothes on nights I won't have my son in case I end up being offered to sleep at a friend's house or something I'm prepared. So because of my issues with being prepared and having too much stuff when I found out I couldn't park at the hotel I had a mini heart attack on the inside. When I got to the hotel, I had to figure out what I needed and unload my car and than I ended up parking the car 3 blocks away. I am not sure if they can arrange more parking, I don't know if it's possible but it's the one gripe I have. The room my boyfriend, son and I stayed in had a king size bed. I bought a cot for my son to sleep on but my son ended up at the end of the bed because he didn't want to sleep in the cot, I ended up in the middle of the bed and my boyfriend ended up at the other end of the bed. The 3 of us fit lol. The room had a kitchenette. I love the rooms with the kitchenettes. I like to bring groceries with me on trips so I can save money on food out so anyplace that has a kitchenette I love. I bought regular coffee to brew and were dismayed to learn they had a keurig, if I knew that I would have bought some of my disposable k cups with me. It ended up being okay they had starbucks k cups that they provided and I was more than happy to drink that. They had a pretty nice pool. I didn't get to visit the beach but I heard they provided beach accessories. This hotel was also located at the end of the boardwalk and very close to it. I would stay here again if I were given a chance. read more

Stayed for a long weekend with our 2 dogs. Obsessed with this hotel. Relaxed, trendy vibe. Great location. 1 block from the beach and entrance to the boardwalk. North WW was a nice change of scenery - very quiet area. Throughout our stay we could hear other dogs muffled barks through the walls, which caused our dogs to bark, so anticipate some barking throughout your stay- which is to be expected at a dog friendly hotel. On Friday night, there was a TV on the lounge deck, which entirely took away from the relaxing "one more glass on the deck" vibe when heading back from dinner. People were sleeping on the lounge furniture and it was just very odd. Not sure if they do this every Friday. Otherwise 10/10 stay and can't wait to come back with the pups again. read more

We rolled up the the Shore House Hotel and Swim Club after randomly heading down to the Jersey Shore. I booked on Sunday for a Tuesday check in. The Check-In desk was easy to locate and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was on the third floor and was amazing. It had two comfortable beds, a mini fridge, a microwave, and an eating area. Everything was clean. Plenty of towels, too. One thing, the stairs up and down were metal and with a nice bit of water, very slippery. If I were coming or going after having a few adult beverages, I'd want to have really good shoes or be extra careful on the stairs. The Shore House also had a heated pool that felt great after a hot day at the beach. The best part is that the boardwalk and best beach spots were only a block away. The Hotel gave us chairs that were comfortable, but heavy. They also gave us an umbrella that was a little tricky to screw in, but was great shade provider. Next time, I'll probably bring my own chairs and umbrella. All in all, if you head out to the shore, look for space at The Shore House Hotel and Swim Club. You won't be disappointed. read more

Location is paramount, right at the start of the board walk, they have a kiddie section in the pool, the rooms are SO CUTE. I would definitely stay here again and have already told many about it! So my family (husband and fur baby) wanted to plan a late summer getaway in spite of COVID-19.... we were on the hunt for a nice hotel in which we felt comfortable and was pet friendly.... My husband found this gem!!!!! At first it seemed too good to be true!!! The pics and reviews were unreal and we got the last room for the weekend we chose North Wildwood is amazing anyway, but the shore house is like a little serene oasis in it of itself...... they call it a boutique hotel, which is spot on. The lounge area is the first thing you see as you pull up, which consist of tropical trees, plants, outdoor lounge chairs, different sitting set-ups, which are too perfect for selfies lol and just spending quality with loved ones.... Lights a strewn above, which adds to the beauty at night.... Everything is clean and you see staff (masked staff) going about ensuring things remain sanitized..... Needless to say this outdoor lounge draws anyone in, I do respect that the shore house has posting clearly stating that from 11 pm to 8 am things are quiet.... so one must take the fun from the lounge area to their respective rooms which is very considerate.... there were plenty pet parents there and we felt good about that as well.... The Room: We had a one bedroom set up, and what I loved the most is there was no carpet!!! Shore hotels have a tendency to have grungy carpet everywhere that may have not been cleaned in years and I am so happy to report they did not!! There were beautiful tile floors. Everything was bright, light and clean. There was disinfect spray and wash cloths for us to use as we see fit. The Shore house recycles!!!! As we had a separate can for that. If we wanted to cook, we had a nice full kitchen that was the length from the living room to the bedroom....with the most cutest nostalgic refrigerator , microwave, kureg (with Starbucks cups waiting for use ) and a stove. *****wifi is included in your stay***** I loved the full length mirror in the bedroom. The beds were comfortable and clean. Everything was operable, including the heat...as we needed it when the temperature dropped .... the weather was unseasonably chilly, so we spent more time in the room and we could not be any happier to be there.... Right out side of each hotel room there is a small sitting area of two outdoor beautiful chairs and a small table, my husband and I had breakfast out there and it was nice..... When we go to hotels we at times find it hard to get comfortable, but not here. I wanted to stay another day Contactless Check-In/Check-Out: We received a text when the room was ready, there were no key exchange, we had a numeric code to come and go as we pleased and when we checked out my husband texted our contact person, very simple..... This place is amazing for families, friends (I've already mentioned to my own ), lovers and the whole crew..... We came to the shore house every year for the past ten years for vacation and we really loved it ! It is not by far a 5 star resort but it was clean .we went to book our week there today and we can't believe the prices, it's almost twice as expensive as it was last year! For the price quoted,we can actually get a trip for two to Jamaica, with airfare and all inclusive dinning and drinks,everything! .our yearly vacations will no longer be at the shore house! read more

Wife and I spent a few days in North Wildwood @ The Shore House. This place was great. First off they are pet friendly. The staff are excellent and super friendly and helpful with whatever your needs are. The motel has excellent amenities such as a beach wagon and chairs and umbrellas for the guests to use. They have a small but excellent pool at the hotel with super comfortable lounge chairs and umbrellas. They even have some floats for guests to use in pool. The room we stayed in had comfortable queen bed w a fridge and a small electric stove. The bathroom was a bit small but nonetheless clean and excellent hot water and pressure from shower. Just some things I think worth mentioning before I end this review. There's a sun lounge on the second floor of grounds which again is clean and comfortable. The staff will provide you with a ice bucket for beverages so you can have chilled beverages poolside. Communication with the motel is done mainly through text messages through their site. It's simple and easy and they respond promptly. Anyhow I def recommend the shore house and look forward to my next visit read more

We had such a wonderful stay here! We brought our dog and the whole staff was so accommodating to her! She was able to hang out at the pool, loved the room and everyone was very friendly. The outdoor areas are so cute and cozy, especially the fire pits. We would definitely recommend staying here, regardless if you have a fur baby or not and will definitely be coming back! read more

On July 26, 2024, I went to check into a hotel that I have reserved for over a month. The hotel is The Shorehouse 12534 Ocean Gateway, Ocean City Maryland 21842. My reservation number was 4652133999 Room #216. I went to the room and did an inspection and found bed bugs, I put one of them into a piece of paper and took it to the front desk clerk as proof. She offered me a room change and I declined and wished to check out immediately. Another guess who had checked in the same day had a room on the opposite end of the hotel and they were on the first floor, their room was infested with bed bugs as well. I requested to be compensated for my full refund and the hotel declined and paid me back half of what I paid and stated that I am not entitled to my refund. I paid a total of $670.57, and they refunded me $364.23. I then had to pay another hotel, Paradise Plaza Inn and additional $917.96 so that I would have a place to during my birthday weekend, which was a big inconvenience for me. read more

My husband and I stayed at the shore house for our Anniversary weekend and we could not have been more pleased. As soon as you pull up, you are greeted with the super cute and cozy courtyard, which includes, a few different seating areas, lounge chairs, a fire pit, 2 gas grills and beautiful plants and flowers. There are beach chairs, towels and bikes, for guests to use. The inside of the apartment is adorable and clean, we felt very safe when it came to covid, they had hand sanitizer and disinfectant spray on the kitchen table, as well as hand sanitizer throughout the courtyard. We were very pleasantly surprised and extremely touched, when we found a bottle of wine and an Anniversary cake, left in our apartment from the shore house staff. Check in and out is contactless, they text you when your room is ready, with your code to enter your room and when you're ready to leave, you simply send them a text, saying you are checking out... very simple! My husband and I were very pleased with our stay and we can't wait to return! Highly recommend The Shore House. read more

My family just recently stayed at The Shore House using Kevin's airbnb. This motel is way beyond any motel expectation. The rooms are newly renovated and had so many amenities available. The rooms had garbage disposals, refrigerators, dishwashers, full ovens, Keurig machines w coffee pods, microwaves, toaster ovens and toasters..just to name a few of the upgrades from other area motels. They had bicycles, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, carts, gas grills, fire pit, several cozy seating areas, relaxing music for the guests to enjoy and use.
