Lining was longer than outer layer and one side of dress was longer than the other. The rehearsal dress had never been touched! When I addressed the issue with her and demanded a refund, she apologized for the hem and said she didn't know how that happened but would refund me. She insisted she altered the rehearsal dress but it was clearly never touched. She would not agree to this and only refunded me a portion of what I paid. I had to get someone else to fix the bridesmaid dress and buy another rehearsal dress. Also, she had the dresses for a month and this occurred 3 days before the events. Very Disappointed !!!

The timeline is typically 2-3 weeks to have an alteration done and she has always gotten the work done within the promised timeline. I took off a star because the store itself is a bit messy with piles of bags of alteration jobs on the floor. Despite this she manages to stay organized and always has quickly found the item I'm picking up. Also the store hours are limited with it only being open in the afternoon during the week. It's difficult to find a good alteration spot in Charleston. I've tried a handful and this is the best I've found as she does a good job and gets the works done within the given timeline.

Since I have no experience, I paid $220 for the alterations...to which mom said "NO! Too much!" Too late, I already paid. :/ But get this! Honest Kim, called and said she found a flaw in the dress and it shouldn't be fixed. She had the choice to do the work anyways, but she called and said "no charge". Now THAT's good/great business!
