Honestly, I was in a weird slump - I wanted something that I can do on my own - that I was passionate about and this did it for me. I'm definitely continuing to the intermediate level! Our class stayed small and the people in it are super cool. Everyone was super down to earth and easy to talk to. I knew nothing about how to play a guitar and now I'm actually playing along to songs which feels amazing. I always like to sing a long to karaoke in my apartment so now it feels good to sing along to my guitar lol.

I have been taking voice lessons with Jeneen for the past several months. I'm not a singer by any…read moremeans, but I enjoy going out to Karaoke with much much more talented friends. I wanted to get some tips to improve my singing, but I ended up learning a lot more than that! As a total singing novice, I had a lot of misconceptions about how to sing and I was completely fascinated by what actually made a good singing voice. Jeneen helped me learn so many techniques for singing that really helped me make huge improvements, including better breathing, singing with less strain and strengthening and increasing my vocal range. We worked on content that was challenging and let me grow. With practice I could definitely start hearing improvement in my voice. While I started taking lessons with the intention of learning pop songs, I took Jeneen's recommendation to learn some Italian songs and I found I really really enjoyed them. Now I'm singing arias too! Now when I sing with my friends they always comment on how much better I sound. I'm so grateful for Jeneen. Her patience, great sense of humor and knowledge really made my lessons very enjoyable. I highly recommend!!
