How many car washes or maid services can they offer?! Anyway, I moved out to the Valley and I'm undergoing a whole lot of life changes. One of my recent goals is to to once and for all get in great shape and STAY THERE, rather than bounce up and down in my well-being. Enter: $49 for a detoxing body wrap (a $175 value!)...on top of my remaining $35 Groupbucks, this set me back $14. I knew I had to carpe the diem with this opportunity, lest I be resigned to grabbing bargains for ghost town hay rides, pool filter cleanings or whatever else "sweet deal" came my way. (I really hate Groupon lately, in case you couldn't tell.) I arrived a little before my appointment time today and filled out the necessary paperwork and personal health history. I was quickly introduced to Angie, the reigning body wrap queen. She was super friendly, explained every step of my mummification (it's SUCH a weird process) and really didn't try to upsell anything to me. In fact, she made it a point to say she likes her clients to go home and notice the effects and changes the wraps have on their bodies before committing to a package. I'm already loving the inches I lost (and apparently it gets only better over the first night) and am totally recommitted to living the healthy life once and for all. Can I afford this treatment every month? Well, no. (Although i am REALLY considering a certain package deal I was told about...we'll see) but if you get a chance to try out this service just once, definitely go to Deseret and definitely see Angie.

Unfortunately, the haircut I received was not at all what I requested, despite showing reference photos. The cut was extremely choppy, with uneven layers throughout. It was the first haircut I've ever been truly unhappy with, and I am unable to even wear my hair down due to the unevenness and disconnect throughout the cut. I do want to recognize the salon owner for how they handled the situation. They were understanding, offered to have another stylist correct my haircut, and also refunded the cost of the service. I truly appreciate their professionalism and commitment to making things right. While I'm disappointed with the haircut I received from Ericka, I appreciate the owner's excellent customer service and willingness to stand behind their business. Although my first experience wasn't the one I had hoped for, I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future clients.

She still doesn't have a clue what she's doing, pulled up a very messy unorganized cart that she couldn't find anything she was looking for, not interested at all doing a good job, and constantly looked up every time a customer walked in, was more interested in the conversation around us than she was in doing my mini pedi. She haphazardly trimmed my nails, did minimal filling, did not trim my cuticles, and spent less than 10 seconds on each heel scrub. Got a wet rag, (not even heated), wiped my feet and said " your the special right" . I nodded yes and she said "your done" The owner was doing a pedicure on a customer in the next chair, so he has to be aware of the mother's limitations, but still chooses to let her work on customers.
