The owner put all trees and shrubs half off or some such thing, just so people could replace trees lost to the storm. I bought a small Japanese maple and a shrub that day. The staff gave me lots of good advice to get them both off to booming starts. I followed it, and they're both doing very well. I just thought it was such a nice gesture to put on a sale like that to help people rehab their yards! I always go back to them now if I need plants or want to give a plant as a gift.

First, I want to thank Robert for taking the time to show us around. He is full of knowledge about so many of the pieces and not a bit of sales pressure. It made us feel so comfortable shopping and browsing this huge display area and outside grounds. Many of the unique and ornately detailed pieces are surprisingly lower than anticipated prices which are affordable to the average family. They've got everything from pricy colorful gigantic dragons, humorous garden nomes, and The Seven Dwarfs, to simple delicate carved stone apples and eggs. It's not all stone, though. They rightly so state that the pieces they sell have "No concrete of any kind." Sculptures of mythical creatures, historical figures, animals, functional furniture for the garden or patio or yard abound here. Also found here is pieces of abstract art carved of granite, jade, and other beautiful stone as well as sculpted pieces of aluminum (painted if you so desire), and wood pieces, as well. If you're looking to spruce up the homestead, inside or out, Westside Stone, I'm sure will be a place you be excited to choose your next piece(s) from. We hired Meadowbrook to install sod and irrigation, and unfortunately the experience has been very…read moredisappointing. Since the installation, we have had a persistent standing water issue in our yard. I spoke directly with the building inspector regarding our deck project, and he confirmed that he reviewed the approved plans and thoroughly inspected every hole prior to installation. He verified there were no water pipes near the foundation and approved the work without issue. Davor, who was also involved, confirmed the same and noted that our sump pump drains properly away from this area. The inspector advised that the water problem is likely due to sprinkler placement and improper grading. Meadowbrook previously represented to me that the yard had been properly graded before the sod was laid, but based on both the inspector's findings and the conditions in my yard, it is clear that this was not the case. Despite repeated conversations, Meadowbrook has failed to take responsibility or provide a plan of action to correct the issue. This problem has been ongoing far too long and should have been resolved promptly. The amount of money that I spent is definitely not worth the value.

I cannot say enough about how happy I was with the work they did. My trees were 36 inches in diameter. (9 ft. in circumference) and 80-100 ft tall, about 80 years old. No problem for these guys.
