Amazing views, wine, music. What can I say. An absolute gem in our trip down the coast. Wine was super tasty and reasonably priced (we had a bottle of pinot and merlot). Will definitely be back.

Instead of casually ordering from one location, you're handed a map, transforming the experience into a wine-themed scavenger hunt. It's like Where's Wino? But rather than simply being served, you might have to chat with someone, where you can either pretend to know things about wine ("Mmm, this one's red!" or "Ah, it has...grape notes") or really take the conversation off-road, diving into deep topics like their grandparents, tattoos, skincare, pets --it helps if your mind is like magnetic poetry-- as I print the email addresses of my co-workers on their mailing lists. (Enjoy the biweekly 10% off tasting coupons, Mr. Green.) Plus, each stop brings a fresh vibe. You're not stuck in one place. Each store is an Easter egg hunt for snacks as you sip among quirky socks, pet sweaters, and art that could double as motel bedspreads. Plus, you get your steps in. And, the event is on a three-hour timer if you want to catch every last drop of chardogrigio (I never rinse my glass), adding a sense of ticking-clock urgency to the fun. Compared to other wine walks, this one had only 12 locations, far less than half of what is offering from Los Gatos (my favorite), Campbell, Saratoga, and Willow Glen, so you may have to put on fake mustaches and hats to make some unsanctioned return stops.

When we arrived, the winemaker, Annette Hoff, and her team were just getting some de-stemming what looked to be Pinot Noir grapes and when we were leaving she was cleaning the de-stemmed. This is where the magic happens. The wine was delicious. Jude, our server was a delight. There was optional table seating just outside. No tasting bar. You sit where you want and the tasting room folks ask what you want and bring the bottle(s) to you. Chill. No fuss. Great wine. Love the hours! Open until 7pm Fridays and Saturdays:) We will most definitely be back.

Which is good if you want to go wine tasting more than once and keep it interesting. My all time favorite were Sinecure Wines which I believe they do small production. I ended up getting 2 bottles. The nice thing about this place is that they have the outdoor sitting, live music and you can buy by the glass. Marina is a chilly town so bring a nice sweater or coat just in case. All in all it was a great experience! I would definitely recommend for a group of friends or maybe a girls night out. It's every Saturday and I've been meaning to stop by for more Sinecure wine, it has such a smooth taste. I don't taste wine the same anymore after having the GSM from Sinecure. The Tempranillo was also very delicious. Oh and there's also a food booth, they sell tri-tip sandwiches, not sure how much they cost or if they were delicious I was busy drinking. (:

Each consisted of 3 - 3 oz pours. The 3 flights covered all the wines they had available for tasting. Not a single bad wine and we liked most of them. Prices are on the higher end, but wines are high quality They allow outside food. Have both indoor and outdoor seating. Decent views. Service was excellent. Tasting by appointment only The drive there is no fun, literally on a dirt road hiking path for a mile or 2. They just opened last year so I guess not many people know about it. But the drive up is rough and winding. The one way dirt road is shared with hikers too. It is sister winery to Mount Eden. Mount Eden is only open weekdays while Domaine Eden is only open weekends. They serve both wineries' wines for tasting. They have 5 tasting flights varying from $30, $40, $45, $60, and $65. 3 wines per flight and they pour a good portion. We got to try 3 different flights to share. Mount Eden Estate , Chardonnay, and Cabernet flight. All the wines were pretty good. Fruit forward and bold. Our favorites were the first Chardonnay , Pinot noir Tanaka project , and Cab from Mount Eden library. I believe it was 3 bottles purchase to waive a tasting fee. Pricey wines. There was only one male staff. He was friendly and made sure we had enough shade when the umbrella shade moved. You can bring outside food. Nice Mountain View.

A tasting room with multiple bubbly flight options?! Yes please!…read more I knew Equinox had bubbles, but didn't know they also had a wine label and made still wines as well. They had 3 bubbly flights and 3 still wine flights to choose from, all of which offered 3 wines for a $20 tasting fee. They also offered a you pick 4 flight for $25. As a bubble lover, I of course had to go with one of the bubble flights. It was a tough decision between the sparkling white and rosé, but I ended up going with the white. Lucky for me, they also let me taste one of the sparkling rosés as well. I liked that they poured all 3 tastes at once so that I was able to compare each wine and ultimately end on my favorite of the pours. I think I typically prefer other methods than méthode champenoise for my bubbly, but it was still fun to try a variety of their offerings. They had a few different seating areas inside as well as some outdoor tables. We opted to sit inside at the bar so that we could chat with them a bit more about the wines. We were helped by Sue and one other tasting associate. Both were super nice, personable, and fun to chat with! Definitely worth the visit if you like sparkling wine!
