Their mission is to provide affordable dental care for everyone. Located in Perrine, this dental office has parking in both front and back of the building. I highly suggest parking in the back at is was more ample and spacious. The staff are super friendly and attentive. My wife felt super comfortable and in good hands. Their rates were extremely low compared to other dental offices but at no point did that affect service nor quality. Many of the staff speak mostly Spanish but are experienced dental practitioners from other countries. I'm astonished by the ratings here. So many 1's yet they look good? Buyer beware. I sat waiting for my husband to be looked at after waiting an hour for the appointment when I heard this customer conveying her feelings that she has constant nerve pain from their procedure and she has to keep coming back. The doctor didn't care. He was belittling her in front of the entire waiting room telling her to take pills and nothing he can do! She was in tears from pain. Saying she had already paid him thousands for the procedure. It's as if you keep bringing her back and she has to keep paying more out-of-pocket. Shame on you. Your tone was disgusting. This place is out of control. When my husband came out he said "Never again!" How can you stay in business when you treat your customers like that. She was in tears. Walk away!!!! Upon question why I hadn't been seen... confused faces & "what's your name again"? Long wait. Over booked rude dentist. The cabinetry was old and in disrepair there were pieces of what looked like dental oppression or gums on the chair. However, throughout two separate appointments, it became clear that the specific details we provided were not understood or communicated to the clinical team. Despite multiple follow-up calls and repetitive conversations with various technicians, the process was disorganized and lacked a clear outcome. Ultimately, they kept our $300 deposit and said it was based on paying for the research. I'd say stay away. It's an unorganized meat market. read more

I am on blood thinners. When I asked if this could affect the implant surgery, the smile mission was emphatic that there would be no problem. My cardiologist had a very different response. He stated that a plan was required before implant surgery and normal oral treatment. Be very careful with these people. read more

I am in the process of receiving full mouth restoration, so basically I was in a car accident in 2019, had multiple oral surgeons, dentists, maxillofacial surgeons, among other kinds; all from UK Hospital and Healthcare. That would be University of Kentucky Hospital and Healthcare. Since 2019 those supposed, shouldn't be doctors and surgeons at UK Hospital, specifically the oral and maxillofacial surgeons at University of Kentucky Dentistry would not allow me to be seen by any other dentist. That sat around watching my teeth deteriorate after the accident broke my jaw, cracked and chipped and loosened mostly all of my teeth and they did nothing. No other dentist would touch my because the roots of my teeth may have grown into my sinus cavities and no dentist wanted to take an in office risk of making me bleed and not being able to stop it. So these imbecilic doctors and surgeons that I was seeing monthly or more often for years just watched my teeth deteriorate to the point of pain and then had the audacity to tell me that they want to do dental implants for around $50K. ...wtf? So...i researched a lot because im too young for dentures and i had beautiful teeth before the accident. My research brought me to The Smile Mission. I have gotten the implants around 4 months ago, I am waiting the entire 6 months to heal completely. I have temporary teeth, which are basically dentures. They look ok but they suck bc they are just uncomfortable so I'm super excited to get the finished product of teeth that will be permanent and pretty and probably too perfect but totally better than dentures. Their insurance department has had my information since November and still have not refunded the $1,000 for my treatment. I have been calling every week since getting my dental work done in December. I have spent no less than 20 hours trying to get the refund. They received and cashed a check in January from my insurance company, without sending it to me. I bugged them so much, they ended up Zelle'ing it to me. Yet two weeks later, I still have nothing from the $1,000 overpayment I made. My dental work was done at the Sarasota location and I love what Dr. Mark did, but unfortunately Miami handles their insurance. And it is DEPLORABLE. read more

I just completed treatment yesterday. I have 10 amazing new crowns that transformed the ugly smile I have had for the past 50 years. What an amazing experience I had at TSM !!! The first thing you have to say about this place is how amazing the entire staff is from reception, dental assistants , hygienists, technicians and dentists. Dr Dustin has impeccable standards, very picky and approves all of the work. The second thing that impressed me was the cleanliness of the entire office. It was spotless and sterile, you could tell good hygiene was a standard behavior for the entire staff. Lastly thank you to TSM for prices that make it possible for more people to transform their lives. I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before I selected TSM. I love all the staff at Smile Mission.I have been following them on IG and made a consultation to address my concerns. I had a tongue ring that knocked a hole in my 2 top teeth, the bottom 2 teeth were loose and a gap was forming looking like the peace sign. Dr. Scott agreed with me and said those 4 should be extracted and a porcelain veneer crown will be made for the top 6 and bottom 6. My sessions were broken up in 4 days. On a Saturday, Dr Dustin extracted 4 teeth. Monday,the dental hygienist deep cleaned my teeth and Dr. Dustin shaved 8 teeth. Wednesday I had my temporary fitted and the following Tuesday fitted for my permanent crowns. Everyone was pleasant and the service was superb. Not taking back the truth until the wrong is righted. Refusing service and saying I didn't have any services performed, why would I leave a review! Went for a consultation, as we changed insurance, and our previous dentist doesn't take the new plan. Anyway, I found The Smile Mission from our insurance provider. It is right up the road from us, so it's super convenient. I was somewhat concerned when I read reviews from other social media platforms that said it was hard to get appointments and had super long waits. When I called, I got the answering machine, and it also said long wait times, but you could use their social media to reach them faster. I did, and I think I used several different methods at that. They responded within a couple of hours. I was able to get an appointment two days later. They sent several reminders to make sure you are coming. They were all extremely nice and very polite. The actual wait time wasn't that bad, considering I was a new patient. The only real issue I have is that most of the staff speak Spanish, and I do not, so I had to wait for a member who spoke English. Which was a bit uncomfortable. But once I was able to meet with the doctor, which was Dr. Scott, he was great. He made small talk, asked questions, and explained the different procedures and showed me pictures and examples. I didn't catch the tech that ended up helping me, but he was also very nice, and even apologized for me having to wait for him, think he might have been the only tech who spoke enough English to understand. But that was ok because, as I said, he was very sweet. Overall, I would say it was a nice place. I'm not sure if we are going to use them or not, but it was a good experience. read more

I called about 7 of them and didn't get a good feeling from any of them- for a cap, it sounded like even with insurance, I would be paying $850 or more.
