We really wanted a natural feel to the party using herbs and succulents, burlap and natural fabrics. Other than that we didn't give her much direction, but she proved to us that she didn't need it! We were absolutely blown away with the final product. Never in our wildest dreams did we ever think we could have such beautiful decorations and tablescapes, it was exactly our vision X100! Joyce created an amazing backdrop behind our buffet table out of wood pallets. She printed some of the food images off of our website onto wood and hung them throughout the backdrop. There was a galvanized sign in lights with the word EAT spelled out. It was absolutely beautiful; all of our guests were amazed. She had customs napkins made up with our logo, succulents scattered throughout the various tables, adorable signs identifying our menu items...we could go on and on. She not only decorated our main dining room table, but also put together the most adorable table for the kids complete with craft paper and wooden boxes of markers to keep the kids occupied while the adults enjoyed a more relaxed dinner of their own. Our table was even more amazing with fresh flowers in an antique wooden tool box surrounded by greens all atop a burlap table runner, linen napkins with sprigs of fresh rosemary, personal bottles of wine and small succulents in glass jars that served as place cards for our guests. And beyond the table setting, Joyce laid out a beautiful wine-themed cheese and fruit platter for our guests to enjoy before dinner. She provided every last thing for the perfect dinner party with the most amazing attention to detail. And then, when we were done, she cleaned up everything and packed it all away, leaving us with two beautiful floral arrangements and nothing to do after dinner but enjoy spending time with our guests!

My children went to a party at a classmate's home this weekend. The lego themed decorations and party activities were much more professionally done and more creative than anything I would ever have the time or ingenuity to pull off myself as a mom, even with all the Pinterest inspiration in the world. From the giant oversized legos for the kids to play with to the lego jewelry craft station that kept the boys and girls all entertained. My kids had a blast. This is a partime business, so Shelly works a day job and is just too busy to return a phone call or text for 2 days. Her party was on Saturday, I find out on Wednesday that they feel it is to far to drive. She yelled at me on the phone, aggressive and is very unprofessional. I'm throwing a birthday party for my 17 year old daughter, and I really need all the help I can get. I called and talked to Shelly, she asked when the party was, I told her in 6 days, she said that she was booked solid and that she would not be able to help me, then she paused for a moment and said I think that I can. She figured out a way to squeeze me in. Thank you Shelly. She offered some great ideas in the few minutes I was talking to her. My stress level has gone way down and I now know that I am in great hands. I am really glad that I found Shelly and Lasting Impressions. The way that I was treated has sure left a positive impression with me. As you can see, things started off great, they ended very poorly, with her telling me that she never should have tried to squeeze me in, I sure wish that she did not as well. I could have found someone who could help me. She got me all excited about an outdoor movie screen for the party. Well, we had one for the party, except it was ordered off of Amazon, because I found a blowup movie screen, cables and a projector. That I ended up buying at way over a $1000. Just make sure that you get it ALL IN WRITING, because if they make a mistake, they do not take responsibility for for it, they just leave you hanging. Shelly, said it was just to far away and that they would not make any money, I even told her, please tell me how much you need to cover your costs, I needed the items for my daughters birthday and at this point, I had no other choice, she would not listen on the phone, she has a lot to learn in running a business.
