Desert Foothills is a fabulous event venue and here's why: 1. The barn is huge, beautiful and immaculately maintained. 2. The staff is lovely and extremely lovely to work with. Lisa and Courtney are amazing. 3. The price is right and they have a list of caterers at a variety of price points that clients can use for catering. 4. The price includes bar, bartender (everything but the alcohol, which you provide, saving $$) and valet parking. 5. The "Plan B" option for rainy weather is fantastic. We do weddings at all types of venues and Desert Foothills is one of our very favorites!!

I wanted our wedding to have a large outdoor component, and my husband wanted stylistic freedom in planning. Desert Foothills fit both of our requirements! It is such a stunning venue with the saguaros and twinkle lights everywhere, not to mention the gorgeous sunset (which had our guests leaving dinner to capture). Lisa was such an amazing venue coordinator. She was open to all of our ideas, but also gave her honest feedback about what would work and what would not work well at the venue. Lisa coordinated seamlessly with our wedding planner, Denise, to take care of everything the day of the wedding. We didn't have to worry about anything! If you interested in booking the venue, we highly recommend uplighting the saguaros outside! Lisa kept recommending it, and I'm so glad we decided to do it at the last minute. It looked amazing! Overall, it was the perfect venue for us, and we are so happy we got married there!

This was different. Perfect for the groom who is apparently a total cowboy. The guests wearing cowboy boots were smart. It's all dirt and gravel. My stiletto Louboutins weren't having it. (I'm a total city girl) The sunset was nice against the cactus. The bathroom had some flies. The barn is spacious. Some heat lamps would have been nice to have outside of the barn.

If you are looking for a unique wedding or event venue, Desert Foothills is the place for you. Kim Culver, one of their very experienced planners will support you every step of the way. They coordinate seemlessly with their vendors as well as their staff. Never anything to worry about. Kim will help you bring your vision to life.

You walk up and order, get a number, grab a table, and they bring you everything. The coffee drinks are amazing. The lavender honey latte, the cookie butter cold brew, and the red velvet latte are downright addicting. The veggie wrap is awesome, as are the scones with brie. The butternut squash omelet is also a favorite. I don't know if they make their sourdough bread there, but I've never had better. We grabbed some pastries to go this time as well, so I can't wait to try them. It gets busy but they really hustle to keep everyone happy.

I would definitely give this place 5 stars for ambience. It totally reminds me of Lisa Vanderpump's restaurants. The attention to detail was on point. I ordered a matcha latte with almond milk and asked if the matcha was gluten free and the server seemed a little annoyed and handed me the bag of matcha. I could not tell from the bag if it was or not but I ordered it anyways. I was really hungry but didn't want a salad at 8am. My latte came out in a paper cup and tasted ok. I wanted to love this place but it wasn't for me but definitely would be great for gluten patrons and for the atmosphere.

From the initial planning session with Christine to the table mock-up meeting to our actual wedding day, we were continually blown away by their creativity and floral design talent. Christine was extremely responsive, which was very important to me, throughout the entire planning process. When we saw the ceremony space and chuppah before the ceremony began we were completely blown away by how beautiful everything looked. Then, when it came time for the reception, again we were amazed at the floral design and décor of the room. All of our guests were very impressed by the quality and richness of the design. It certainly elevated the ambiance, and the venue looked very elegant and modern. The Flower Studio certainly deserves its well-earned reputation in Phoenix and we would highly recommend them to anyone for any floral needs!

The stems were accented with a band of Purple Haze ribbon with a Swarovski crystal seam. They were gorgeous! So were the bridesmaid's bouquets, the centerpieces, chuppah, Minnie's "Dog of Honor" collar, and everything else... Thank you, The Flower Studio, for making my wedding weekend even more beautiful and filled with flowers... I highly recommend this local business!

We walked in and seated ourselves at the bar. The goal was a great beverage and some social chemistry. It took several minutes to be recognized at the bar. After a quick scan, I saw several patrons with a disgusted or malaise look on their faces. The staff was huddled at the end of the bar fixated on themselves. While passing the time, I noticed a menu placard that indicated all day happy hour and a tequila of the day (ask server). Given the initial situation observed, I felt that just getting a pour of tequila on ice was the "safe" bet. Eventually, the waitress made her way over. When asked about the tequila of the day, she scoffed and rolled her eyes. She walked over and grabbed the bottle and simply just showed it to me. No verbal input, no real interaction and absolutely NOTHING but attitude. Everyone else at the bar was offered water, a food menu, and eye contact. Got the pour and promptly ignored until we had to literally flag her down. It was NOT busy. I made a comment about the service under my breath and another couple indicated "they are always slow, but this is excessive".... Basically, the only thing they have going for them is location. The food staff was hopping, friendly, and was verbally apologizing for the smallest delay with food. The bar.......best of luck. Lacks anything but a hard time, and the feeling that you're a burden for the basics like a menu, friendly attitude and some social chemistry. Had better experiences at a convenience store....at 2am.... Wanted to spend more money....left confused and disappointed.
