Our tour guide was wonderful, talking about the history of the neighborhood, the architecture, and the features of the different restaurants- I made a note of a few places to go back to and try out! We sat and ate at 3 different restaurants: one for appetizer, one for 2 pasta dishes, and one for pizza and meatball. Then we stopped at a bakery for takeaway dessert. Our tour ran from 3-6pm though there were some pockets of downtime along the way.

If you are a foodie, you will have a great time. The 5 restaurant locations are kept as a secret which makes the day even more enjoyable because everything is a surprise. When arriving at each restaurant, their dish is also a surprise. This is a great way to try something new that the restaurant personally recommends. Everything is a "sample" but the portions are HUGE so come starving. I even took home leftovers as the group could not finish all the samples. Great way to explore new restaurants even as a local resident. She isn't patient, she snaps back at any question, my mom pointed to something and asked a question and she yelled at her. You never know what someone is going through, but this hasn't been just one visit. Honestly she has almost become something we've laughed about when stopping because it's almost like she must be paid to be this miserable all the time. We won't be back except for the random clearance events. The place has definitely gone downhill in the past few years, less and less offered. The store space is smaller. The chocolates don't even taste the same (or maybe the experience makes it taste miserable, ahahah) I don't see it lasting more than another year or two max. This time the amount of food we got was more reasonable (still plenty to replace a meal and no one left hungry, but not the outrageous portions from last time). We visited Bender's Tavern, Journey art gallery, Deli Ohio, and Basil Asian Bistro, as well as a few other informative/historical stops along the way. You should definitely check out these tours! They also offer tours in Wooster, which I'd like to try next time.

It was pretty cool to learn that the building is a restored 1930s-era Board of Education building. I saw that the hotel was not only a great place to stay, but also that there was so much to do within a reasonable walking distance of the establishment. I arrived at the hotel late at night and was warmly greeted by a staff member named Mario. I greatly appreciated his patience with me as I sorted everything out while preparing to check into my room. Since this was the first time I had ever done anything like that, I liked how Mario let me take my time to make sure I was doing everything correctly and signing anything that needed to be signed. During my time staying there, every staff member was friendly and was fun to talk to whenever they were not busy. The room was clean and perfect for one person, with plenty of space and a comfortable bed. While I spent much of my time in Cleveland in my hotel room, it was still an amazing visit, to say the least. I liked their breakfast selection and the bar they had. I had a Caesar salad because I had to wake up early the next morning to catch a flight back home, and it was great. All in all, it was a great first experience staying in a hotel by myself, and I would like to give a shoutout to every staff member who made me feel right at home during my stay in Cleveland. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I am in the Cleveland area and recommend it to anyone planning to visit.

Went to learn about their innovative distilling and aging process and was impressed with the entire process.... We were encouraged to bring our own drinks (alcohol or otherwise). The tour covered much of downtown and provided some history with a comedian as the tour guide. We also had some good laughs. Truth be told the tour is very much focused on drinking. Half way through the tour we stopped at a bar and were able to bring drinks back on the bus. Seating was comfortable and it was nice to see an old school bus put to good use. On a nice day the tour is a good way to see the city.
