The service from the employees was excellent-on point, patience, informed, professional, and even better-friendly-the kind of friendly you only get from small midwestern towns. More importantly: there is food provided, and several rooms and areas to enjoy your food and drink, and Chaffees had an excellent quiet room that allowed me to setup my laptop and submit multiple million dollar proposals in while I drank my coffee. At $22, it felt significantly overpriced. 17 West likely wouldn't survive in a larger city with real competition. In the New Bremen area, however, it benefits from having very little rivalry, which allows it to stay in business despite the clear mismatch between its prices and the quality and presentation of the food.
