Decided to come here for dinner since lunch is always great. Server / Bartender didn't write orders down and kept forgetting needing to ask multiple times what we order and how. My fried chicken sandwich was mainly breading no chicken extra crispy. The chicken chunks we got were served in a bowl which was fine , but we didn't need the chicken to be drenched. Half a bottle of sauce in bowl after we forked them out to dry. Wife had a sandwich ordered that had to be sent back and came out again wrong. She didn't press her luck and ate it since she was hungry. Extra for the fries with cheese and bacon....dont order them they are not worth it. So many things wrong with this experiment compared to when I've been there for lunch with customers. Unknown if going back. Ordered drinks with alcohol ...... I'd expect some in there. read more

Some of the best wings I've ever had. Our waitress, Jaylin was extremely nice as well and very attentive to our table despite it being a little busy. The sweet habanero traditional wings were amazing. Perfect amount of heat in my option and the crunch factor + tenderness was amazing. Drove 30 minutes just to check this place out, and upon entering, it had a BW3 feel to it. We ordered a Sam Adams Cold Snap but would have much preferred if they had Sam Adams Winter Lager on tap. They were out of Woodford Reserve so i ordered a Makers Mark straight up only because they don't have round ice balls but instead cubes. We started with The Onion rings and Korean shrimp. The Onion rings were excellent, but do not use the Bama white sauce; just use ketchup. The Korean shrimp said it came with Asian Coleslaw, but that is not true. It came with just American Coleslaw that was heavy on the mayonnaise making it really creamy and not a good pairing with shrimp. The Caesar salad was one of the best we have ever had. Loads of parmesan and a must try when we come back. The wings I ordered came with Korean sauce and although it was right below the ghost pepper ranch on the scale of heat, it was not a hot sauce, but it was very flavorful. The only thing I wish they would have done is actually tossed it in the sauce instead of drizzling it on. So, I had to order another sauce, flip my wings over, and pour the sauce on the bare spots. Now we had a side of the Ghost Pepper Ranch and that was great with heat and flavor. I also asked for them breaded and they didn't come that way. They were also dry and that's not good for a place that has the name Wings in their name. Will come back to try other items and will definitely do another Caesar's Salad, but pass on the wings. read more

Update: this is a very good restaurant that is touted as a sports bar. The food is a cut above any sports bars and the service is on point. It's worthy. It's also the best restaurant in Piqua. No doubt! Try it, you'll like it! My son grandkids and I stopped here for dinner tonight. When you walk in there are screens all around, people laughing, talking. It has an air about it of fun. The menu is great for a sports bar. Lots to pick from plus the calories listed on every item. And the food is better prepared than most sports bars. Beer selection - for a sports bar this is minimal, they need to expand the microbrewery list. Think Ohio beers for this. I had a Shiner Bock from Texas. I ordered the chicken pecan salad. It was large, made fresh, had grilled chicken, pecans, apples and cranberry's. Came with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Forgot to ask for it on side but it's was fine. Overall the salad was great! I tried one of the boneless wings and they are big, like the size of a small leg, white meat and delicious. Oh, yes - delicious. The sauce had a nice heat, it's a great sauce. The entire place including the restrooms was clean and well maintained. It looked good. Service was quick for the food and drinks but we waited a bit for the bill. They need to pay attention to this. Came out for lunch and ordered from the lunch menu. Pick two is $8.99 and seemed reasonable as it also boasts full size servings. I got the fried cauliflower wings and fries. It was a large portion of fries, however I felt the cauliflower wings (which is considered the main) was a very small portion. I ordered a classic Moscow mule to drink and it did not disappoint. My boyfriend got the boneless wings with hot garlic-q sauce and Saratoga chips. The chips were the best part of our lunch. I wish I got the chips instead of fries overall it was okay. If I'm driving in the area I might stop to take some chips to-go. Otherwise I'm not planning any future visits. read more

I'm just going to say how disappointing. This place used to have delicious food, great service and what we got today was a dirty restaurant, cold food, no alcohol in our margarita, horrible service. Felt like we weren't welcome. Kept being told we are so busy... we only had to wait 5 minutes to be seated, that's not busy in my books. Took 30 min minimum to get our food and it felt and looked like it sat in the pick up window for a long time. Manager came with an attitude, asked if we wanted a new order and we told her we didn't want to wait another 30 min for cold food. She comped our food for us, and within seconds took our plates out from in front of us, no apologies, no nothing. We won't be back! Don't eat here!! It's horrible. Go down the road to the Crooked handle and get yourself some in house smoked and fried wings that were twice the size and less in cost. Plus service is absolutely fantastic there. read more

First time here.... Wasn't disappointed at all. Got the bourbon BBQ sauce in mild heat. I was throughly impressed with the sauce. Perfect blend of sweet n heat. I also ordered the fried pretzel bites... I about killed myself eating them! I can only say ..... DUDE!!!! Briley was our waitress and was fantastic!!! We had a large group and never wanted anything. The food was, as always, quite good. But c'mon...a beautiful evening to sit outside, have a few beers, and watch our Reds, and out of the 3 tvs on the patio, only one was working, and barely at that. Our server Briley was amazing. She checked in on our table several times and made sure we had everything we needed. She was professional and prompt. We unfortunately did not get the name of the hostess working, or if she said her name, I sadly do not remember it. She was exceptional as well. She greeted us with a warm friendly smile. She set the positive tone for the rest of our time there. She was vigilant and noticed our two children getting antsy and rushed over with a box of crayons and paper for them to color. Seems like every time I've been in, the same slow moving and seemingly lazy bartender is working. This bartender, in particular, always has a bar literally full of dirty dishes and glasses she can't be bothered to bus after other customers leave....and she seems oblivious to everything... never in a hurry to take care of a customer or clean up any messes and always standing around just chit chatting like she's hosting a picnic or something. Truly can be infuriating. And, even worse, when she does get around to serving you a drink, chances are she has no clue how to make it and you will have to help her along or order something else. I'm so confused as to why they continue to allow her behind the bar at all. Overall, the serving staff, especially the bartenders, are either rude, lazy, or just really unprofessional. The food is great and the kitchen does well with what they do decide they can cook.... They shut down early ALOT and frequently "run out" of menu items.... I grew up in the Piqua area. There was never really anything special food-wise about the city. So whenever I moved away and came back to visit to hear about this place, I was excited to try it. It's an absolute gem! I always get boneless wings. They are biiggg wings and you can split flavors. The flavors are plentiful and great! The appetizers are good too, having tried their "rings" and artichoke dip. Now that I live in a big city far away from here, I don't get to come here but a couple times a year. But it's always a stop whenever I visit home! I especially like that it never gets too crazy busy, so it never gets loud and service is prompt. read more

Ordered 2 old bay shrimp baskets on Grubhub and did not get the side or the sauce, even though I asked for extra sauce.

The lead up - buffalo wings and rings is located in Piqua atop the hill just off the freeway. Walking up music is playing from the outdoor patio. Definitely has a sports bar feel. To my surprise the place was only half full. A similar sports bar in Troy (bw3's) would be almost full at the same time. Makes me wonder why. We were quickly seated at a booth and our server greeted us promptly. The menu/drinks - standard full bar, medium size. A totally awesome 8 person table is centered in the room and has 2 beer taps coming out it! Sweet! This need to be at every sports bar!! The menu has some interesting options (dips, burgers, wraps, salads) and the normal boneless wings and traditional wings. All in all the menu is average at best. Grub time- I ordered a buffalo chicken salad and 5 wings. The salad was fresh, crunchy, and big! It was really good. I order the tai Chile sauce with hot heat for the wings. The wings are also huge in size and the sauce was great. For a chain sports bar there food is above par. It's like a cut above bar food! Verdict- food wise this place probably has better food than most sports bars. The problem is there beer selection (on draft) is way under par. They feature one beer from a local brewery and everything else is Budlight generic crap. Tons of tvs and clean bathrooms. I'm not gonna slam the store for this but I'd rate the waiter a 2 Star. He was constantly in a hurry and at one point wiped his nose and our entire table clearly saw snot go to his hand. This location is losing business because of the nasty attitude Supposed "Manager" Brooke who says she does not have a Manager. Your "Manager" is rude as all get out. Another girl was helping me very sweet didn't get her name...she told me my order was not ready. I was already way past the time they said it would be ready. So she was going to see how much longer. Over comes Brooke who was nasty as all get out to her employee and then to me telling me the total and I said I am waiting to pay to see how much longer....she with a very smart mouth and attitude says I am sure it's back there, she's new and I told her she had a smart mouth and was nasty. She comes back with the bag and slams it on the counter and I told her forget it I don't want it with her attitude and who is your manager she says I am and I said who is your boss she said I don't have one I said everyone has a boss she said no I don't and get out, and kept saying good bye you can go now. I told her she is lucky I am saved with her smart mouth I should punch her in it. There was ABSOLUTELY NO reason for her behavior. Lord have mercy they just hire anyone. Decent restaurant off the highway in Piqua, Ohio. The inside of the restaurant was really neat. It was your typical sports bar with lots of TVs and sports decorations. We ordered some chili con queso as an appetizer, and it was really good. The chips they brought us were definitely from the bottom of the bag though. The service wasn't very good either. We had to request multiple things and our waitress didn't check on us very much. I ordered 15 boneless honey BBQ wings, and they were okay. Nothing too special about them. The food is awesome! Every single time I eat here, whether it's take-out or in the actual restaurant, I enjoy it. I would give it 5 stars, but the staff takes that fifth star away. They are always rude and seem like they'd rather be anywhere else. I get that working in the food industry isn't the best, but feeling like a bother when you eat somewhere sucks. Quickest service we got was our drinks. Our starters came out cold and dry. We had the sampler platter onion rings, fries, and fried pickles. The fried pickles were dry and over cooked. We sat down at 7:30 just had our main plates delivered at 8:15 keep in mind we watched parties of 6 and a few other groups get their food before we received ours. Our party was of 3. When we confronted the server about a manager. The manager never came out. The server did have our starter platter removed but didn't offer too remake it. Great food. Typical bar type atmosphere which can be a little noisy, but overall just fine. I highly recommend the tap-table! A high top stainless table with 2 beer tappers built in! If you've read my prior reviews, you know that I'm pretty picky when it comes to wings. And, while Hinders has sated my wing-lust for a while, occasionally I still get the cravings! That led Jules and I up to Buffalo Wings and Rings during AFC/NFC championship weekend. "Eeep!" you might think, right? Surprisingly, while BW&R was crowded, we were seated almost immediately and their service was spectacular. Our waitress was friendly and eager to please. Wing-wise, BW&R boasts ultimate flexibility, which is surely a pain for the, but an asset for their customers. Sauces can be combined in pretty much any combination imaginable. My plate of wings was doused in both mild buffalo and garlic sauces, served in a massive bowl and swimming in sauce. Mind you--I like my wings "extra wet", so that's an asset in my eyes. Jules ordered one of BW&R's specialty burgers, the Apple and Bacon Burger, which came topped with apples, among more traditional burger toppings. While certainly unorthodox, she heartily enjoyed. All told, BW&R provided a solid experience. I'd be happy to go here again, anytime those wing cravings come creeping back! read more
