I walked up, asked for a poster to be printed, she said sure. I asked how long, she said about 30-45 minutes. I said, well can't you do it right now? It was clear she had nothing going on, so why not? She said, sure I can do that. Now upon the poster being done, she charged me $18 extra, for a $3 poster as an "immediate" fee. Five times the amount of the actual poster she charged me because I made her get off her phone and do work instead of taking her time, when it was simply a question of if she could do it right away. So why am I reviewing a two star office supplies chain store? It's going out of business soon and Yelpers will report this location is permanently closed and I'll lose my chance to pad my stats with this lame store. I was far from shocked to see this place is closing. The last time I was in here I distinctly remember thinking to myself this store isn't going to make it and I'd be surprised if it lasts another couple of years. Nobody shops here and the employees seem pretty used to that. They're tragically hard to find and comically disinterested. The last time I was in here was just to buy a box of inkpens and this long disused teenage part of my brain kicked into gear and I started mulling over just stealing them. It was almost like they were daring me to it. I ended up doing the right thing and waiting for an employee to finally emerge and cashing out. This store is so pathetic I came here a few months ago and half of the front parking lot was covered by a giant puddle of water. By the front doors they had a sign apologizing for the temporary inconvenience of all that water. Well, I came back two or three months after that and not only was the water not gone it had grown to the size of a full fledged pond covering almost the entire parking area in front of the store, leaving only a small strip on the side to park. Not a huge issue since as I said nobody goes here. There's not enough wildlife areas in Macomb County so it was very nice of them to install Lake Office Depot here. Two ducks looked very content just floated along and the water shimmered in the evening sun. So why two stars and not one? It's still a functional store, somewhat. I bought two file cabinets from here in the past year and I'm tempted to go looking for some going out of business deals. Also - this place is funny! I'll never forget the giant duck pond. Sadly, though, (or perhaps fortunately depending on how you look at it) the waterfowl habitat has shrunk back down to about half the parking lot as of Friday. Maybe once Office Duckpot is gone a fishing supply store can open here and they can bust up the concrete and make the lake deeper.

He had to go home, test it and discover it was wrong one. Back to Staples for a refund!!! I suggested he go to Best Buy instead. the staff there was incredibly helpful !!! Not only did they find the right charger for him after he paid for it, they allowed him to test it to make sure it was the right fit and they also tested his outlet square plug to make sure it was working. The staff wasn't too high-pressure and let us take our time to decide what we wanted to do. Even more, they cut us such a killer deal that we couldn't turn it down despite our hesitancy. Since we bought the furniture, I have been satisfied with what we got - no surprises once we got it home. No funky smells, no hidden stains, nothing broken that shouldn't have been. While I always prefer new furniture over used (unless I am dealing with antiques), I think Cort was a good place to buy from.
