Eggs were fine, but the sausage was one of those cheap gas station ones. If you are looking for a nice place to spend time , then yes, this is nice place. They are super expensive for very McDonald quality food and coffee. I would not be surprised if that's where they get their supplies from. My 98 year old mother loved the beachy decor but was confused that it wasn't a home goods. She also thought we bought her a McGriddle but it was really just their French toast sandwich. With it being so expensive i did not let my step daughter get anything. I made my sons eat their grandmothers leftovers. Would not recommend this place for any family on government assistance. During our stay at the on-site condos through Airbnb, we decided to find a lunch spot and were pleased to discover Southern Grind. We ordered the Cheeseburger, Turkey Bacon Avocado Wrap, and a Grilled Cheese Panini with Ham. Each entrée came with chips and a choice of pasta or cucumber salad on the side. The restaurant also features a charming gift shop with coastal-themed items and a full coffee bar, adding to the welcoming ambiance. Was unimpressed with both the service (not one single staff member said "you're welcome" when we thanked them, and acted very put input when owing with cash.) and the coffee, and pastries. Inside is almost like a boutique with jewelry, drink ware, hats, candles, soap, etc. They not only serve coffee drinks but also food, with everything from biscuits, croissants, bagels, to omelettes and French toast. Their lattes all come with 2 shots of espresso regardless of size. We ordered a medium iced caramel latte and a small iced honeybee latte, which has toasted marshmallow syrup and honey. I would definitely recommend getting the smaller size if you don't like your coffee too milky. My boyfriend also ordered a sausage and cheese biscuit. The biscuit itself is huge, fluffy, and flaky. A perfect biscuit! It was very good. I got the cinnamon roll. I brought it home and heated it up in the microwave for 20 seconds and it was HEAVENLY. So soft and gooey and delicious. If you Only read the first line of this review then all you need to know is that this is a must try for coffee/breakfast! The ambience of this coffeehouse is a coastal/beach and relaxed. I got the cappuccino and the avocado toast. Both good though the avocado toast had more vinaigrette it than I typically like as a result it was on the sweeter side for my taste. The cappuccino however was excellent! They have lots of seating and it's easy to maintain social distancing however know that no one is masked(staff or guests). The coffee house is directly connected to the adjustment Adele indigo so very convenient for hotel guests. Overall when in Orange Beach should definitely stop by for a quick bite. read more

I have been an avid patron of this coffee shop located at The Wharf. it used to be good and I felt it was fairly priced for the area. I enjoyed studying and working at a quiet table there while enjoying a meal or dessert and latte - always. Most recently, my visits have been less than satisfying. further, you can't even get a complimentary cup of water (you have to buy a 3$ bottle) even with the purchase of a meal and latte. This last visit takes the cake. to order a buffalo wrap with meat alternative protein - it was going to add 5$-6$ making it approx. 20$!! this is beyond reasonable. Very disappointed and sad to say my visits there will be limited to a latte - and on occasion at best. Quality of food has been ok but convenient. Desserts are good but the cinnamon rolls remind me of the Pillsbury roll (kind of nostalgic actually) and cookies are good. Not what it once was. :( read more

Stopped for a late afternoon pick me up after a day at the beach. Most coffee shops in the area were closed by 6 pm, but this one wasn't. We stopped by as we saw on our way back. We walked in and asked about where the coffee was roasted our barista said he thought Tampa. The bags of beans being sold said Tallahassee. We ordered black Southern pecan and a Midnight Rain ( blue berry white chocolate) 1/2 sweet. We walked around the touristy shop, nothing locally made which was what we were looking for. We took our coffee to go. We did not like the Southern Pecan as it was a bit bitter. The Midnight Rain was still very sweet. We did not finish either of them unfortunately. read more

I love their food. I love their shop. I love their coffee. The logistics of their ordering process is confusing. When you walk in, where you place your order is obvious. There is a blackboard menu behind the counter, but it's not the main menu. The main menus are on a wall behind you as you face the counter. Granted, not a bad place for a menu, but a little direction would have helped. We stumbled around to place an order for a Croissandwich, which was amazing, a Bagel with cream cheese, and Single Origin Coffee. While waiting on our order to go, I found a great silver turtle for my grandson's turtle collection. The gift shop is very nice but is spread out into different directions from the register. Not a problem, but I almost missed seeing some wonderful items. "A 3.5% discount is given to all patrons who choose to use cash." Didn't know that until we got our receipt. read more

Even though the menu described served with fries and "your choice of sauce" I was charged for both sauces I asked for, buffalo .50 cents and ranch .49 cents. No mention of an extra charge. I asked if they had a water station and was told no, the only water they serve is if you buy a bottle. I went to the car and got my own water bottle! Had a poor experience today. We usually stop in and get food on our trips. We tell people to get coffee here in our rental guidebooks. We ordered food for our family (on our second visit this week) and asked for ice waters to go with them from the person ringing us up that was drinking iced water from a branded cup. We were told they "can't let us have any water. It's company policy. We can only have ice." We've never been to a coffee shop that doesn't have this available for free or a minimal charge to cover the cost of the cup. I get that they want to charge $2+ per water, but as a large family, that would be almost $20 with tax for waters. That's just silly. My 10 year old just said "they have free water for dogs but not for people. That's odd." We'll frequent Beach Girl coffee from here on out and take advantage of their rewards program, free waters, and free fun stickers for kids. read more

Great location, beautiful store. Wanted to grab a cup of coffee in my way out of town. Waited in line 7-10 minutes, which was not a long time considering how busy they were. Ordered a Tall black coffee and a SGCH sticker to put on my cooler for advertising. When they called my name, there was a small coffee sitting there and I told the girl I ordered a tall. She responded that it was rung up as a small. I said, "well I ordered a tall" and she replied "well it was rung up as a small and abruptly turned around away from me to continue to make additional coffee's. All she had to do was apologize for the miscommunication and made it a tall. Changing my small to a tall would not have cost them anything, but I'll never be back because of this and will toss the sticker in the trash. Customer service??? The coffee was good! read more

This is the perfect little spot for a cozy beach atmosphere and delicious food and coffee. I had biscuits and gravy and the honey bee latte and both were delicious! The latte was sweet without being overpowering with a smooth coffee flavor. The biscuits were fluffy and gravy had a good flavor.
