    Mimosa Flight
    chelsea a.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is the cutest open-air brunch and cocktail spot -- perfect for a relaxing start to the day![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I tried the mimosa flight with orange juice, pink lemonade, pineapple, and blue raspberry. All were tasty, but the blue raspberry was definitely my favorite -- so fun and refreshing! I had the turkey and ham croissant, which was very good, though I was a little surprised it was served cold. Still, the flavors were great and it hit the spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The girls at the counter were super kind and welcoming, and the view is absolutely perfect.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm already looking forward to coming back!

Errands done, time to chill with my honey. It's a crazy good lobster dip & daiquiris are redunkulous!!

It's been two years since they've opened and they just keep getting better! High Tide Daiquiris & Mimosas is a locally owned and operated by a very lovely couple Scott and Laura who are super friendly, welcoming, and obviously know what they're doing.  Daiquiris & Mimosas is the name and there's a lot of excellent choices for those drinks, there's also beer and wine, non-alcohol cocktails, and there's some very good food choices as well. There's apps,  sandwiches, paninis, wraps, and some pretty amazing charcuterie boards. No fried seafood or greasy stuff here, just some icy cold drinks and well thought out cool food. It's a nicely done space by the water for drinking or dining inside or outside with a relaxed atmosphere.  When it comes to the drinks, my sweetheart's favorite is the strawberry daiquiri, with banana mixed in per Scott's recommendation and mine is the Key Lime margarita, that really hits the spot on hot days. Couple of our favorite apps are the chips and pineapple pico and the lobster dip, wait what? Yes I said lobster dip, and these New England expats are picky when it comes to "lobstah" and we recommend theirs :-) Now mornings are a good choice here serving  breakfast starting at 9AM. Offerings include bagels, croissants, muffins, donut holes, avacado toast, Nutella & Betty toast, peanut butter and banana toast (an Elvis fave) and both hot & iced coffee, and more.  In addition to the food you can sit and relax on the swing seats, on the shaded patio, or put your feet in the sand by the launch for the paddle ducks, and swans. Plus, you can order everything on their menu either or their website, or from DoorDash for delivery. I did say everything, which includes all the delicious drinks, with or without alcohol. As far as I'm aware they are the only business, on the island, that offers Daiquiris & Mimosas for delivery!!  It's situated on the waterway connecting Little Lagoon and Lake Shelby on the west side of Gulf Shores Pkwy (Hwy 59) just pass the old David's Gallery. I'm being real specific here because it's kind of tucked away and a little below the parkway and you need to turn in at the old David's gallery just before the bridge. So go slow and plan your turn ahead of time because you don't want to miss it, seriously. BTW They also have another location now at: 24823 Commercial Avenue in Orange Beach. Bottom line: Clean nice spaces inside & out, nice sunsets, delicious drinks, good food & friendly helpful folks. Highly recommended!!!!  Hours: Monday-Sunday 9AM-9PM http://www.hightidedaiquiris.com/ https://www.facebook.com/HighTideDaiquiris/

Daiquiri flight: mango, Pina colada, bushwhacker, and Miami vice
    Allyson L.

The owner was really nice. I love the ambiance here especially when the sun is just about to go down. It's super cute with the swings. We ordered a daiquiri flight with Miami vice, the bushwhacker, the Pina colada, and the mango. The mango was my favorite and very sweet. I'd skip the Pina colada next time and just get the Miami vice with strawberry Pina colada. The bushwhacker was yummy too with the actual chocolate walls. $18 with tax is not bad at all. I want to come back next time I'm in the area and maybe get their mimosa flight.

Outstanding Chicago dog, chips, and tasty blood Mary!

1st time here-great Chicago dogs, breakfast sandwiches, bloody Mary's, n/an and other drinks too! Super friendly staff right across from Island Winds on W Beqch Blvd!

Iced latte with pink cold foam

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cute little beach spot![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] You wouldn't know from the name but they serve breakfast sandwiches and coffees. Both were very good. A little pricey but that's what you get for being right on the beach in a tourist town! Lots of other fun drinks and mimosa flights too. Owner was working very hard and seems like they have a small staff so I'm glad we supported them.

The absolute cutest place! Stopped in while on vacation and will definitely be back. Service was great and we enjoyed everything we had- breakfast board, mimosa flight and daiquiri flight.

Really enjoyed it. Our charcuterie board was SO good. I also highly recommend the creamsicle daiquiri However, I gave it 4 stars bc there isn't much seating. We had to leave & came back when the crowd filtered out.

2 person charcuterie board, Bloody Mary (missing its delusions garnish of pickle, meat and cheese) and Key Lime margarita. Yum!

Overpriced for what you get. It was a milkshake and they hand you a bottle of warm booze to melt it.

Bright, airy, modern. The clientele is bougie enough that I felt a little out of place, lol, but I still enjoyed being there. I had a little bit of a hard time figuring out their menu. Signage is kind of limited and small, clustered on a counter which isn't easy to see if there's a line. I later found on their website that they have "local fave lattes," many of which sounded better than what I wound up ordering. I wish they'd been listed on a menu that I saw. At any rate, I decided on a shaken brown sugar latte. The employee who took my order was adequately if not effusively friendly. There were several young women working hard behind the counter to accommodate the large volume of orders. It took a bit for me to get my drink, but within a reasonable amount of time considering how busy they were. I thought the price was maybe a smidge high for the size of the drink, but what else is new these days? I got my drink and headed to my car. Overall, it was just okay. My first sip was a huge overly sweet mouthful of brown sugar; I don't think it was mixed super well. I moved my straw up and got a second mouthful of mostly milk. Then I used the straw to mix the drink myself and gave it a few gentle swishes with my hand. That helped some. This was a decent brown sugar espresso, but even after I mixed more thoroughly, it was still on the overly milky side for my preferences. Again, I wish I'd seen a different latte option to order. I think I might've liked a different flavor combination more. When I eventually return to the Gulf, I may give them another try and get something more up my alley. I enjoyed the modern, sunshiney, beachy vibes and would like to sit on the patio and enjoy a coffee when time permits.

The egg muffin contains cheese, onion and peppers. Make sure to ask for some jelly, it came in its own little plastic cup which makes me believe it is either homemade or local. The english muffin is toasted and has melted cheese, which they did a very great job at melting. You also have a choice of sausage, bacon or ham to add onto the sandwich. Last summer I tried it with bacon and this year with sausage. Last year I ordered one, finished it, then ordered a second one. I was either starving or this is a top 5 breakfast sandwich I have ever had. They also have homemade cakes, pies and cookies. I tried a homemade peanut butter cookie last summer which was very good.
