This place was absolutely amazing. We came here because I saw they did flights and I thought that was a really fun thing to do. All their drinks were presented well, with glitter, sprinkles and more. I had 2 different flights so I got to try 8 different daiquiris. So good! They came out quickly too and even do non alcoholic version. After arriving in Orange Beach, we started looking for a Daquiri spot that was close and chose this one. Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience. The ambiance was nice. This place was nice and open and sunny which I really loved. The owner was also very nice and talked with us for a bit so I gave this review 2 stars. The drinks we ordered were supposed to have alcohol but it tasted like straight juice and water. I tasted a very very faint amount of alcohol. I ordered the blue angel (blue raspberry and mango mixed) and my boyfriend ordered the mango colado drink. They tasted like gas station slushes. We paid $12 for each Daquiri and got $4 shots to put in each of ours. Our total for both drinks was $35 and it was a complete waste of money. We didn't even get buzzed off the drinks not even a tad bit. The drinks were overpriced and not worth the drive or time. read more

High Tide was one of those places we enjoyed so much that we ended up visiting twice during our trip--once for cocktails and once for coffee and breakfast. The coffee was excellent, and the breakfast sandwiches were fresh, flavorful, and a great way to start the day. We also stopped by for cocktails. While the drinks weren't my personal favorite compared to some others we had in the area, they were still enjoyable, and honestly, the atmosphere more than made up for it. Sometimes a place is about more than just what's in the glass, and High Tide absolutely delivers when it comes to the overall experience. It's been two years since they've opened and they just keep getting better! High Tide Daiquiris & Mimosas is a locally owned and operated by a very lovely couple Scott and Laura who are super friendly, welcoming, and obviously know what they're doing.  Daiquiris & Mimosas is the name and there's a lot of excellent choices for those drinks, there's also beer and wine, non-alcohol cocktails, and there's some very good food choices as well. There's apps,  sandwiches, paninis, wraps, and some pretty amazing charcuterie boards. No fried seafood or greasy stuff here, just some icy cold drinks and well thought out cool food. It's a nicely done space by the water for drinking or dining inside or outside with a relaxed atmosphere.  When it comes to the drinks, my sweetheart's favorite is the strawberry daiquiri, with banana mixed in per Scott's recommendation and mine is the Key Lime margarita, that really hits the spot on hot days. Couple of our favorite apps are the chips and pineapple pico and the lobster dip, wait what? Yes I said lobster dip, and these New England expats are picky when it comes to "lobstah" and we recommend theirs :-) Now mornings are a good choice here serving  breakfast starting at 9AM. Offerings include bagels, croissants, muffins, donut holes, avacado toast, Nutella & Betty toast, peanut butter and banana toast (an Elvis fave) and both hot & iced coffee, and more.  In addition to the food you can sit and relax on the swing seats, on the shaded patio, or put your feet in the sand by the launch for the paddle ducks, and swans. Plus, you can order everything on their menu either or their website, or from DoorDash for delivery. I did say everything, which includes all the delicious drinks, with or without alcohol. As far as I'm aware they are the only business, on the island, that offers Daiquiris & Mimosas for delivery!!  It's situated on the waterway connecting Little Lagoon and Lake Shelby on the west side of Gulf Shores Pkwy (Hwy 59) just pass the old David's Gallery. I'm being real specific here because it's kind of tucked away and a little below the parkway and you need to turn in at the old David's gallery just before the bridge. So go slow and plan your turn ahead of time because you don't want to miss it, seriously. BTW They also have another location now at: 24823 Commercial Avenue in Orange Beach. Bottom line: Clean nice spaces inside & out, nice sunsets, delicious drinks, good food & friendly helpful folks. We ordered a daiquiri flight with Miami vice, the bushwhacker, the Pina colada, and the mango. The mango was my favorite and very sweet. My family was excited to try this business based on reviews and social media pictures. The photographer does a fantastic job making it appear much larger than it actually is. We arrived and had a group in front of us and a lady selling jewelry in the corner. Back to that in a moment. It took probably 10 to 12 minutes to get drinks for the group in front of us , so we finally able to order. As we ordered we discovered they were out of several drinks and appetizers. We settled on pimento cheese and bruschetta. It took about 20 minutes to get this with no other food coming out. Very slow. Awesome spot in Gulf Shores. Friendly and family run. These guys have an array of fun beach drinks as well as killer charcuterie boards. Not the mention the view of the lagoon can't be beat.
