So my friend and I booked the spa package of facial and massage. Facial was very good, but for the price, I expected a massage that made my muscles feel better. Worst massage I've ever had in my life. Within 2 minutes of it starting, I almost screamed at her to stop touching me, got up and left. There was nothing relaxing about it. It was like she was on speed, moving so fast. It's also not really a spa. Don't arrive early thinking you'll relax, sit in a comfy lounge chair, or go in a hot tub or a sauna. There's literally nothing except one shitty (CRAZY OVERHEATED) bathroom, two uncomfortable waiting chairs, and the rooms. SKIP. A friend went to a place that was at the top of one of the mountains. Although my massage and facial were good, I cannot give this place a higher rating. This spa needs to pay attention to details. The towels in the spa were the worst that I have ever seen. Not only were they mismatched and thin, they desperately needed to be replaced. Also the spa bathroom does not suggest "pampering ". I've seen prettier bathrooms in bars. The hairspray was Aussie and the conditioner was Suave, both not what you'd expect at a quality spa. With a few changes, this place could be an awesome spa. read more

Had a 60-minute swedish massage with Anna! She was wonderful. yes yes yes! The locker room has a steam room and a shower with lockers and provided locks. Before your massage, you get dressed in a robe and move to another warm waiting room with light refreshments. It is an easy place to socialize with girlfriends and feel relaxed. The massage rooms are soundproof, with 4 walls and a door (not curtains, but the real deal). Honestly, I think this is a great price for a resort top of the line massage. read more

Three of us spent a wonderful morning at the Spa a Breckenridge. I booked our services over the phone with Spa Manager Heidi, and she was helpful and friendly with great suggestions for services. We had foot treatments, Aromatherapy massage, and our group favorite the orange clove body polish. The body polish was rich and velvety. Perfect for the dry Rocky Mountain climate. We booked in the morning and had the place to ourselves. They have a fantastic steam shower with nice touches like lavender, orange, or eucalyptus sprays for misting either before or after the steam. The only down side is that the lovely hot tubs (yes, there are three) and pool are in the adjoining hotel, so you have to be escorted up to the fourth floor to use those facilities. A bit inconvenient, but we really enjoyed the hot tub during a light snowfall. Parking was also slightly confusing. Follow Heidi's directions--not the signs. If available the best parking is by the ski shop and Snowflake lift. It's also a SpaFinder spa. So, cash in those credit card points to get an extra service. read more

We had a wonderful experience here! My husband said he had the best massage ever! The staff was very accommodating and chilled our champagne and provided plastic wine cups so we could take it to the hot tub/pool area. They had various snacks and tea sitting out which was lovely. The hot tub/pool area which had gorgeous view and was the perfect way to extend our spa day. It is located in a separate area, but wasn't too difficult to get to. While my husband was out snowboarding he decided to treat me to a day at the spa and was it all well worth it! From the massage to the facial, each staff member took the time to focus on areas I was sore and didn't rush through any procedure. From the moment I walked in, they knew exactly who I was and allowed me to relax with some oils and a steam room before my massage. Excellent staff and facility! Be careful using SpaFinder gift cards at this spa!! Before reserving, I called the spa to make sure they accepted SpaFinder gift cards. The receptionist confirmed it and said that all spa services were 15% off due to the end of ski season. This was great news, so I decided to book not one, but two facials (for my husband and I) and also decided to add on an additional service for each of us. I called the spa back to make the reservations and I let her know (again) that I would be using the SpaFinder gift cards and reiterated the fact that there would be 15% off of the services. The receptionist confirmed the prices. When we finished our facials and went to ring up, the total seemed high to me but I gave them my credit card. A couple of hours later it was still on my mind so I called to ask about whether the charge included the 15% discount. The person who answered the phone had to call someone else to check on this and called me back about 30 minutes later. She apologized and said that since I paid with a SpaFinder gift card, the 15% discount did not apply to me, and admitted that the person who booked my reservations should have explained it. I came out of pocket an extra $50 simply because they would not honor their original commitment, even after they admitted the mistake. read more

I typically don't write reviews, but felt the need in this case, and unfortunately not due to a positive experience. I paid in-full for services that were never rendered. As a Christmas gift I purchased a gift certificate from this spa for my girlfriend. She excitedly booked a massage for a Saturday. The morning of the massage she woke up with a really bad cold, and called in to reschedule. She called in more than five hours before the appointment trying to give as much notice as possible. The girl on the phone was short with her, and pretty rude. She said that we could reschedule, but if we changed it again, we would forfeit the gift certificate. We didn't appreciate the harshness in the way the message was delivered, but we understood that they block off time for appointments, and could be left with holes in the schedule. We made another appointment for the following SUNDAY. The Saturday before, we received an email from the spa stating that we had missed the appointment, and the gift certificate was now void. While I did not make the phone call to reschedule, I was right next to my girlfriend when she did, and heard her confirm at least twice for Sunday. We would not have scheduled for Saturday because we were out of town, and not returning until Saturday afternoon. At this point, confused, we called the shop and asked to speak with a manger, and were told he/she would call us back the next day. 10 minutes later the girl who took the original appointment for SUNDAY called us back, and very rudely told us we were mistaken, and there would be nothing they can do. We feel strongly that the girl purposefully noted the wrong day because she did not want us to reschedule. I understand rescheduling is an inconvenience, but exceptions should be made, especially if the client is sick, and has given ample notice, and has prepaid for services. The treatment from this spa was atrocious. What should have been a relaxing gift and day, turned into an ordeal that could have been avoided, and easily rectified by this shop. My advice, obviously, would be to avoid this place like the plague. read more

WOW this place is amazing. I came here after 2 days of skiing for the Age Repair Facial (75 min - $160). What a great experience. My esthetician was Helena, and I would go back to Breck just to see her! My visit: I booked the day before, and the receptionist was very friendly, despite the fact that I was just squatting there in my ski boots while waiting for a bus. On the day of the facial, I filled out a short form and sipped on some nice peppermint tea, looked at their small collection of jewelry and other beauty gift items for a few minutes. Then I was taken to the changing room, which is pretty small but well built with lockers, a shower, sauna, soft robes, sandals, and toiletries. I then waited in a small area with a couple of magazines. This 'waiting room' is pretty sparse, but hey the actual treatment was so amazing, I couldn't care less. Helena met me and we went to the treatment room, where I was given another soft tube/towel to change into, and I climbed into the sheets. Helena came in and we chatted for a while about my skin, a recent injury I had to my face and concerns related to that, as well as the products she would be using, to filter out any allergies. The facial itself was totally thorough. Cleanse, exfoliate, steam, extraction, toner, serums and masks, moisturizer, hand, foot, neck, shoulder, and scalp massages. The whole shebang, God it was so good. Haha. Also, no hard sell of a product whatsoever. When I was checking out, the girl noted one product (the end moisturizer) that Helena had recommended. I asked her to just write the name of the product so I could go read up on it, and she was more than happy to do that. You can leave tip on the cc slip, no forced trip to the ATM. It might just have been this treatment, but I left this place feeling like a million bucks. read more

After a long day (a couple falls here & there) getting a massage was a no brainer.  The staff at the The Spa at Breckenridge we're beyond amazing.  As a spa owner, I always have high expectations when visiting spas out of town & they met all of my standards!  The spa director, Amber explained our treatments thoroughly & was very welcoming.  The spa concierge, Jessica was a truly delight.  She didn't rush us out of there, explained different treatments for our sore muscles, & made us feel like royalty once we were finished.  Our massage therapists Ryan & John we're amazing.  They asked us what our issues were & what we wanted targeted the most & listened!  If you are in town, I highly recommend The Spa at Breckenridge!  See you next time, team! read more

The spa portion of a bachelorette party was completely ruined due to bad administration and business at this spa. We all showed up on the clearly designated, agreed and confirmed day and time to a closed spa. While the party went on, minus the spa, the girl organizing had done tons of work to make it special, and the owner did not show up, was not reachable and was incredibly rude and intolerant to our situation after the fact. Poor taste and poor business. Even if this spa is amazing, its not worth the try. read more

My husband and I both got swedish massages with David and Cassie and were very satisfied with the services. Both were professional, friendly, applied strong pressure and did a great job concentrating on the areas we asked for. We would go back and request them for sure. The hotel has 3 large Hot tubs perfect for an after massage soak. There was a pool but we didn't use it. There is a large steam room in each of the locker rooms as well. So glad we went! read more

This was truly one of the best spa experiences that I have ever had. My girlfriends and I opted to skip a snowy day on the slopes to pamper ourselves, and I am so glad that we did. We came a bit early to relax in the outdoor hot tub and indulge in some of the bottomless mimosas and crudite that we'd paid extra to enjoy. I went with the 75 minute signature facial, and Carrie was the woman who did it for me. She was incredible. Usually I feel like facialists, even at very nice spas, spend at least part of my relaxation time explaining the process or what products they are using. Carrie asked me once in the beginning if I had ever had a facial before, and when I said yes she just let me relax and was silent the whole time. The experience was half facial, half massage, and I have not been that perfectly content with a spa experience in a while. I would be delighted to come back here the next time I'm in Breckenridge and highly recommend you do too. read more

My friend set up a bachelorette party and planned spa treaments for a group of 16. My friend had emailed the spa and spoke with the owner Toni over the course of a week prior to the party. The owner Toni confirmed via email what treatments were booked and stated that she would give us all a 10% discount on services due to the large group, as well as provide wine and snacks to the entire group. Two days before the planned visit she emailed my friend stating "see you saturday!" My friend called Toni the morning of our visit to double check that everything was in place but she only got her voicemail. When we got to the spa at 2pm for our appointments we were told that it was closed by the front desk of the Lodge that houses the spa. The front desk person at the lodge stated that she spoke with Toni that morning and she told her that she wasn't coming in because she didn't have any appointments. We then showed the manager of the lodge our email documentation that we did indeed have confirmation for our spa day. He tried to reach Toni by phone but was unsuccesful. About 2 hours after our scheduled appointments Toni called my friend to say she didn't have her number and that she wasn't sure if our group was still coming in since it snowed the night before. She never apologized but instead said since we didn't do our due dilegence in scheduling the appointments that she decided to go out of town to visit a friend. To top it off Toni hung up on my friend during the conversation. This spa is a joke and I would tell anyone looking for a legitmate spa to stay clear of this place and its owner. Completely unprofessional and they don't deserve any business! read more

We decided to make a last minute trip to Breckenridge for spa treatments and then dinner. Considering it was a holiday weekend, the Spa at Breckenridge still manage to get all three of us in for 60 min. massages at the same time. All employees were very friendly and accommodating. There is a large steam room in the locker rooms for pre and post massage treatments (love that!). The spa aeromatherapy products that were used during the treatments were nice and not too overwhelming. All three of us had what we would refer to as one of the best muscle work experiences ever. I have had many massage treatments over the years and the therapists at this spa were very well trained and attuned to the body. We never felt rushed, even though it was the end of the day and I think we were the last in the spa to leave. We loved the dark chocolate in the massage waiting area too. I would come back here again and highly recommend this spa! read more
