I really enjoy Cache Creek's spa and amenities. It's a little bit on the smaller side but they have a sauna, steam room, and spa all indoors in the ladies locker room area. With showers, hot tea, water, apples, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, mouth wash, curling irons, and hair dryers. You can also access the adult pool in the north towers (open all year round). I have only booked massages here, I do want to get a facial here some time. The masseuses are very professional and good! They have a co ed waiting area for when you're ready for your massage or you have to go to the waiting area in your locker room so your technician can find you. I find it easiest to call and book an appointment over the phone. They're open until 7pm and if you have a service you have in and out privileges all day. read more

My esthetician, Danielle, was great. And create a lot of information on the products use which I appreciated. My only complaint would be that the walk from the casino to the spa is a long way , but that's just me being binge lazy. I was very happy that I went to do a facial treatment 7/10 and enjoyed the hot sauna very much. After I came back home , my friends were surprised hey my face looks much different , not dry at all and looked much nicer l. I went in for a Mother's Day massage and mani/pedi. The massage was good but they are very strict with their timing so I only ended up getting a 45 minute massage (my kids told me 9:30 and I got there at 9:04, it was at nine). Get there on time. The facilities are gorgeous. Sauna, soaking tub, water, tea. The atmosphere is soothing. I got a pedicure next and it was phenomenal! If you have gel polish they do charge $20 to take it off. She was super friendly! The way they buff your feet doesn't tickle and was soooo relaxing. No waiting for that hard pumice stone! They only offer regular polish, so that was a little disappointing. The manicure was very short and I wouldn't call it a manicure more just nail painting. She soaked, dipped, shaped and painted only. No hand massage, and they were still wet when I left. Within 3 days they were chipped and now after 9 days they look so bad I have to remove the polish. I wouldn't waste my money on the manicure again. My daughter booked the services and wasn't there to pay so she didn't get the points for the casino so that was a real bummer. Warning: hard water irritation. I had a spa day this past weekend 10/26 and I used the hot tub and steam room, which I believe I got a hard water 'infection'. My back has been red and irritable since then. The hot stone massage was the worse I have ever received. There was no technique or anything. It felt like a toddler making circles on my back. I thought about ending it early, but I waited it out. This Spa offers services such as hair, nails, facials, massage and provides for a jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, pool, showers, and excellent customer service. It's very easy to schedule services online, and upon arrival you greeted and given a tour of the facility and its offerings. Aside from the excellent customer service for hair and nail services from Lana, Tracy, and Yadi, the amenities are absolutely wonderful. Lockers, luxury robes, slippers, towels, water and a relaxing experience every visit. I have reviewed spa services at other casinos up to Placerville and Cache Creek Casino Resort offers everything that the others do not. In addition, it's a beautiful drive up the Capay Valley; free parking, excellent restaurants, and Seka Hills Winery just down the street. What a relaxing treat!! Both Nailah and Samantha were exceptional with their massage therapy treatment. The setting was peaceful, the massages were so relaxing and the service for the massage top notch all around. On the men's locker room side, I could knock off a few stars. There was a mix up where one person went in for a massage at the wrong time... and staff kept on asking me 1) If I was (missing name) 2) What my name was 3) What type of service I was having 4) What time my service started I was asked those questions more than 25 times in the 40 minutes before my massage. 25, minimum. I was told multiple times that I needed to get up that my massage had already started (it hadn't). I explained that I already checked if the therapist were waiting for me (which they weren't) and I was pressured to get up and go check again on at least 2 occasions. Definitely not what I'd call relaxing. Sure, it was a mix up because one male guest went to the wrong appointment. I get that happens. What I don't understand is how I had to get bothered by it over 2 dozen times when it wasn't my mistake. Am I wrong to expect a high end spa to be able to coordinate better about which services and times their guests are scheduled for without having to ask so many times? (I get with the mix up being asked once or twice... but the sheer volume of times I was asked felt completely unnecessary) The massages were great. We had a nice time. I work in Napa Valley but I choose to drive to the Cache Creek Spa in Brooks when I need a little pampering. The spa is immaculate. When you need your muscle tension released, ask for Bernadette! She's my "go to" masseuse! I love that you get in and out privileges all day so you can enjoy a nice lunch and enjoy the rest of the spa amenities afterwards. I came here for my birthday. I booked an 80min deep tissue massage with Samantha. She was incredible and very professional. I would recommend her for any deep tissue massage, or hot stone. The spa is very clean. I like that they have plenty of lockers and large showers. I wish the food & drink options were more plentiful. Fruit and water were the only offering. You could order food and drinks, but there was a $5 charge, plus auto 18% gratuity. When I come back, I will get the couples massage with my husband. I like that if you get a service you can use all the amenities the day of. My go to is the massages Ive tried almost all of them. The massage therapist are amazing. Today I decided to do a facial and it was sooo good. The pool outside is a nice oasis. The bartender at the bar is nice. The food here is okay definitely not worth the price. Today I have chicken caesar salad the chicken was hard. The shrimp quesadillas were okay. I always get a pina colada or strawberry daiquiri. I've been to the spa a few times and it's always been a top tier experience with the actual spa and services. The massages and facials are fairly priced, and I've always been happy with the practitioners and services given. It's clean, relaxing, and the staff is always very attentive and kind. I particularly love that the environment doesn't feel like an afterthought. A lot of spas in casinos feel kind of slapped together, but this place feels intentional in its design and atmosphere. I also love that it's one of the only spas close to Sacramento that has a sauna, steam room, therapy pool, and access to the outdoor pool and hot tub. They also have a few heated loungers next to a huge Himalayan salt wall, which are a lovely bonus. Make sure you get here early to enjoy all of the extras you have access to. There are really only 2 downsides. The first is the amenities offered. There is a bowl of fruit, coffee, tea, and fruit water. Outside of that, you can order and pay for additional food and beverages. In the locker rooms, I was really only able to find body lotion and sunscreen. No brushes, blow dryers, face lotion, etc. Maybe you just need to ask for those things or something, but I'm used to them being out and available for people to use. Lastly, they have signs everywhere saying that cellphones aren't allowed in the area, but they don't seem to enforce that rule at all. Every time I've been, there has been women taking photos of themselves or their friends in the thermal pool and locker area where people are naked. While I want people to be able to have memories of their spa day, it makes the vibe pretty uncomfortable at times, which is not what you want when you come to relax. Overall though, this is still my favorite place to go for a consistently good experience. Just make sure you bring your own amenity kit and some snacks. Oh, and probably a swimsuit unless you're ok with your back end winding up on someone's TikTok. read more

I recently went to the Cache Creek Spa for the first time with my mom, as a belated Christmas gift to her. I booked for both of us the special package that's only available on week days, a massage & a facial, about 2 weeks before. The morning of, 1.5 hours before our first service, they called to let me know that their esthetician had an emergency & couldn't be there to do my facial, that they could offer me an extended massage (I would be charged full price for it) and that all they could offer for the inconvenience would be a free lunch. We were already in the car on the way there, as it's an 1.5 hour drive away from us, and like I mentioned we took the day off work and had it planned significantly ahead of time. I totally understand that emergencies happen, but I work in customer service & you'd think at a place this pricey & nice they'd offer better accommodations. When we arrived I asked if there were any other services they had in place of the facial and they basically said no all they could offer was the free lunch. I didn't want to be too pushy but my mom mentioned that we were a little frustrated because we had planned a head of time and drove a good way for this & would have been charged $100 deposit if we had cancelled. The girl at the front said she would ask her manager and eventually came and said they would give me 20% off my service which I accepted, but was still frustrated that nobody seemed to care or be apologetic. No manager ever came and spoke to us or anything. However, my massage was AMAZING. I loved Jody, she was so kind and made me feel so comfortable and my mom loved grace and justice who gave her massage and facial. The amenities were so nice we enjoyed the sauna, the jacuzzi, and the steam room. Hubby and I enjoy coming to Cashe Creek to play every so often. This time around I'm pregnant and can't be around the smoke. Hubby suggested I enjoy a spa day while he plays. hahahaaa I happily agreed! First things first ... they take walk-ins but reservations are highly recommend, especially during peak season. Reservations were easy to make with a simple phone call and credit card to hold your reservation. The spa is located on the 5th floor of the hotel. It's beautiful, modern, and sparkling clean. All indoor services are still available, but indoor amenities are closed due to COVID. They do, however, give spa guests access to the outdoor Jacuzzi and heated pool - which is right outside the spa. I had the Capay Mommy massage and a pedi. Maria did my massage and she was excellent. She was friendly, fun and gave me a good much needed mommy massage. Only complaint is when I booked the massage I was told they have a pregnancy massage table, but when I got my massage it was on a regular table and my back massage was given while I was on my side. It wasn't as relaxing or what I was expecting. Lana did my pedi and I very much enjoyed it. She was also very friendly and chatty. What a wonderful experience. I'm fairly local and thought I'd try the spa for my birthday. I've done high end stuff in Napa and also Vegas. I have to say Cache Creek is on par with anywhere I've been. What I loved most was that it was quiet and serene. I'm sure sometimes you get the loud and chirpy bridal parties, but the day I was there it was just women taking a time out for some wonderful relaxation. The silence was wonderful. My massage therapist was Christy and she was phenomenal. One of the best I've had. I had a facial. Now, I'm not usually a facial person but I wanted multiple services for a spa day. Sometimes I feel like thy they rub goo on your face and it's just... meh. I left thinking the facial was dumb... then when I woke up the next morning my skin has never looked so good. So, maybe facials aren't dumb - or it was just Cache Creek. I also did a shampoo and blowout. The woman who did it was lovely and it was nice not to do my own hair. I wish I had more time and it wasn't 117 degrees that day as I would have loved to have used the pool and made a longer day of it. Oh! One other thing I loved was that they have all these cubbies to read a book or have a snack. You can close yourself off or be in areas where you can talk. They did a wonderful job with the design. The only negative I have are that the locker room amenities are not plentiful and are a bit dated or cheap. The shower gel and shampoo amenities are lacking in the showers - although the shower fixtures are in feasible. There are not a lot of products out for use to do your hair or get ready to leave. I gave my credit card to the attendant days before arriving the attendant informed me that they seen that I have a discount that will be applied to my treatment, and that would be deducted from my services provided at the end of my spa treatment. Well, we came here as a family on the day after Thanksgiving, and it was awesome. My grandma was so nice to treat us all to a spa day. I haven't been to many spas, but since my grandma was treating us I couldn't turn it down! My masseuse, Christy/Kristie (unsure of spelling), was AMAZING. She's been doing this for over 15 years and it's one of the best massages I've ever had. She doesn't skimp out on pressure. Additionally, she even told me about how the spa was newly renovated and described how the women's area differed from the men's area since I obviously can't take a tour of it to see it myself. I can say the men's area is truly exceptional. The lockers and bathroom area is kept spotless, everything is clean and in order. The sauna was well maintained and the steam room was the same. The hot tub room had low lighting which made it easy to relax, and the relaxation room next door had a giant TV to watch sports. The co-ed area had open seating and even private curtained areas for couples privacy. They let my girlfriend and I finish our food here which was cool of them. There is a sauna, hot tub, body warming lounge chairs made of stone in front of a pink Himalayan salt wall, and a 21 and older pool with bar and food. The only reason this is not getting a full 5 stars is that the massage is only 50 minutes, we got started a few minutes late so my $130 massage was only about 45 minutes, the masseuse complained that they don't have enough time between massages and are booked back to back. We received a tour of the facilities, the spa is well maintained and very clean. The amenities include a large jacuzzi, dry sauna, steam room and Himalayan salt wall. I wish they had a cold plunge because I found body temperature running too hot. They offer refreshments; water infused with fruit, fresh fruit, and tea. You can also purchase champagne and premixed cocktails from the front desk or even have food delivered by room service. My massage therapist was Elliot. He was personable and very knowledgeable. I've been here a few times now and the spa does not disappoint, the massages and facials are pretty good. The indoor hot tub is my absolute favorite. I went this past Friday and noticed just how bad the front desk service was. From the first girl that checked me in until I paid for my service, these girls was soooo incredibly unhappy it was palpable; not one of them was able to force even a slight fake smile. I figured it might have been just one girl but every person I talked to that day at the front desk looked beyond miserable. I quietly checked in and out and left, I hope these ladies move on to anything else that makes them a little happier. She had great technique and I definitely felt very relaxed. 50 minutes was a bit short but I felt very relaxed nonetheless. I really enjoyed the facility. They had everything open. Went yesterday with a couple friends for facials and quality time. The spa is super clean and there are lots of lockers for storage which is nice. The issues came with a few different things, the first being that it's quite a trek to go out to the outdoor pool. We noticed there's a closer door that would be much more accessible to spa guests but it's not being used, not a huge deal but the easier convenience would be nice. Secondly, while waiting for my facial I relaxed at the indoor spa. The area is nice and very clean, but small. The chairs and spa fill up really quickly which makes you feel like you can't go in there until it clears out a but. There was an employee there cleaning up that was incredibly rude to other customers. Pushing all of others stuff out of the way while she was mopping around, getting frustrated at guests for not keeping their robes right next to them (which I don't know what her expectation was when people were in the spa other than to hang it up) and various other comments she made that were demeaning and ruined the relaxation portion of it for me. Third, if I book a specific facial, I don't want a sales pitch before or during my facial. Seems like they try to really sell you on any up charge no matter the state of your skin. Maybe just ask if I'm interested in any other services before giving me a pitch on why I need it. For my moms birthday, we went to Cache creek to celebrate because that's exactly where she wanted to go. I am not a fan of casinos because I can't stand cigarette smoke so I was happy to be able to book a treatment at the spa while the rest of my party spent their time at the casino. I booked a last minute haircut because it's been months since I got a trim. I was glad they were able to squeeze me in very last minute. Since it was a Monday, they weren't busy at all. As of 12/2015 their women's haircuts cost approximately $50. Not a bad deal, considering my cuts in the city can cost upwards of $90+. Also with a $50 service, you can have full use of their spa which includes a Jacuzzi, sauna, showers etc. You can also relax in their co-ed relaxation room and indulge in some fruit, tea etc. My stylist was awesome and so fun to talk to. Prices are reasonable and they have great packages. I will definitely return and next time try one of their massages and mani/pedis. I love their spa chairs. They looked so relaxing. Glad I was able to spend my time at the spa and didn't have to be in the casino. Love this place! read more

I have been coming to this spa for years. Way before the remodel. Went today hoping to relax before returning to work from being off for spring break. That was not the case. There were a couple of groups of friends who obviously did not know spa etiquette. They were talking very loudly and laughing loudly in both the waiting area and hot tub area. They had towels on all the lounge chairs but weren't using them. So no quiet time, no place to sit and relax. But yet not one worker said anything to them. Was going to say something when I checked out but the girls at the front desk didn't even ask if I liked everything. Felt it would fall on deaf ears. They also don't have hair products to use. Other spas do. Massage was ok. Last 2 times I have come they have not been worth it. Masseuse spent more time warming the oil on her hands and moving around than massaging me. No hand massage or foot massage. Spent more time on one side of my body than the other and to top it off I was put in a sitting position instead of lying on my back which was really weird. Miss the old spa for sure. Don't think I will return with so many other casino spas around. Too bad. read more
