Lisa is someone that is a god sent. Lisa is amazing! She is beautiful and sweet, has a lovely office, very clean and tranquil. A week prior to my wedding photoshoot, I came to see her for my very first visit. She understood that I needed my skin to stay blemish free, and she immediately knew what to do. My skin felt so refreshed and was glowing after my facial. I just went to her today to get a clean up on a full leg and brazilian after a particularly horrific and traumatic at European Wax Center last week... This review is long overdue, I booked a microdermabrasion and facial with Lisa about a week before my wedding in December of 2014. The location of her shop is tucked away in a quaint shopping plaza in Davis, CA. Upon entering you are greeted warmly and are invited to sit in a cozy waiting room with plenty of magazines to read. I loved that Lisa had the latest Cosmo, Glamour, Allure, and not the typical boring magazines you see elsewhere. The facial itself was the best I have had to date. Lisa was meticulous, patient, and thorough through each step of the micro and facial. She took the time to explain to me what she was doing, how she was doing it, and why my skin needed it. I will say that although you may be purchasing a facial; it is not cookie cutter-Lisa really tailored my facial towards my skin's needs. I also had my first skin extraction with Lisa, it is sort of painful. I would equate it to getting my septum pierced. You know the whole pinching effect with tears rolling down your face BUT still tolerable and very much worth it. Pain is beauty ladies! The microdermabrasion was divine. I love micros, can't get enough of them. What made this one extra special? I was able to get a light fruit enyzme peel with it, and yes it is as great as it sounds. Now I look back at my wedding pictures and think, "Dang my skin looked hella good! What was I doing back then that I don't have now?!" and the answer is Lisa's facials. Seriously ladies, stop looking elsewhere just go see Lisa. I will be going to see her once I have completed my deployment overseas for some serious skin R&R. read more

I came here with two of my friends to all get our eyebrows done. She opened the door of the waiting room, stared at us without talking for a few uncomfortable seconds, and told us she would be back. She was very pleasant upon getting on the spa table, and seemed knowledgeable. However, she managed to make me feel badly about my "patchy" eyebrows and said she'd keep mine "thicker." I figured she knew best so I went along with it. I had simply asked her to make them more symmetrical and shaped. However, I left her spa very unsatisfied: my eyebrows somehow had LESS shape and symmetry than when I came in. Yes, I should have said something but just wanted to get out of there. Today was my first time seeing Lisa for a facial and a brow/lip wax. It was a great experience. I can't get over how great my eyebrows look and my face is so much clearer. Lisa knows what she is doing! I don't have a lot of eyebrow in the first place so I'm nervous about getting my brows done and Lisa did just enough for them to look shaped. This is my third facial with Lisa. Today I went into some la la zone and woke up with glowing exfoliated skin. I do not book any facial in particular. I have had her work her magic according to what she felt my skin needed that day. She does an amazing facial and scalp massage. I am a massage therapist so I am picky but she seems to work out all the tension that you never knew you had in your face. You can book online which is super easy and convenient.
