The resort is beautiful. The views are to die for. The service, however, is lacking. My adult daughter and I stayed here last week and apart from being pricey (roughly $1600 for a 2-night stay), the front desk receptionists and food servers are extremely entitled/rude. My daughter and I started a tab at the beach bar while we enjoyed the grounds and after a few hours, requested to close it out. My daughter noticed we were being charged for items we hadn't ordered nor received. We had to send the bill back twice before they removed items that didn't belong to us. Later that night, we went back to the beach bar for dinner. After placing our order and waiting an extended period of time, at which point, we still had not received our food, we overheard the server insultingly telling another patron that she couldn't do anything about how fast their food came out. We didn't dare ask about order at that point. Never was there an apology for how long we had to wait when we did finally get it. I also lost a pair of sandals while there. When I went to the front desk to inquire whether someone had turned them in, the receptionist told me that they had not been turned in. Her delivery was crude and not at all helpful or empathetic. The only good service we received was from the event coordinators, specifically Macarena, Grace and Chino. I didn't catch the name of the yoga instructor, but she was lovely as well. They're the only reason for the 2 stars, instead of 1. We interacted with them on our last day, prior to leaving and felt better on our way out. I would not stay here again. read more

A great 4 day getaway with our daughter son in law with their 8 month son. the accommodation were very comfortable. They have hourly activities for all ages, treasure hunts,yoga, to corn hole, competitions, bingo, and more. I especially have to say thank you to Grace and her girls they were absolutely delightful. so accommodating. A must is to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. I had the best red snapper and Mediterranean Octopus salad. Definitely recommend coming here anytime. read more

Not what I expected. Rooms are not sound proof. I can hear a screaming baby next door. People partying on the deck next to us until 2am. You can hear people outside very early so don't expect to sleep in. Bedding is not comfortable. Food service ends by 10 and room service hours are minimal. Place is very pretty. The resort was beautiful, but it wasn't worth it. We paid $1,800 for 3 nights, +$45/day resort fee + tax, +$28/day parking + tax. The only thing included were bikes until 4:30 pm. Parking was on-site, so there's no reason to be charged extra. For being a resort we felt there should have been some more activities included in the price like free paddle boards & kayaks instead of $35/2hrs. Felt nickel & dimed. Good: The location was beautiful; very tropical with all the palm trees, dune grasses, & mangroves. Sadly, the time of year we went we couldn't see the sunrise nor sunset from the property. Nice hourly activities & varied weekly schedule, but mostly for kids. Fun singers at the sunset celebrations by the bar. Great games scattered throughout. The Marketplace was convenient. The surrounding seagrass beds were full of sea life & gorgeous! Manatees around the marina! Hammocks & rocking chairs were relaxing. Friendly staff. Everyone was so polite & nice. Well maintained, comfortable, & clean. Piped-in island music is relaxing. Complaints: Mediocre food. At the beach bar, the burger was huge & delicious, but they only cook it well-done. At Mahina, the lobster special was also overcooked & the sauce was terrible. Tuna poke with crackers was disappointing as was the dry Huli chicken flatbread. Bread & butter was the best part. At the Marketplace, they heat the danish because I think they're stale, the smoothies were made with fake fruit puree from a carton, how can you mess up a yogurt and berry parfait? The pools close at dusk. 5 pools, but 4 of them are identical & all in a row, so not much variation. $400 a day to reserve a cabana, not that's not a typo. There's no shade otherwise as the landscaping is sparse. They can't help it, but just a heads up the beach is muddy & full of jellyfish. Watersports end at 5. The guard gate stops working around 11 pm. If La Quinta can offer free breakfast for under $100 a night this 4-star resort should be able to as well. We asked if they did anything special for birthdays before we arrived & they said no, but they did have a special package you can reserve for $95 for balloons, card, banner, & flowers, so we missed out on that. The concierge was setting it up for someone else on our last day, so that's how we found out. They gave us the wrong room. We booked a 2/2 King, but the back room had 2 queens. The front room was way too loud. It stayed noisy until about 1 am & then the noise started again around 7 am. The neighbors on both sides during the entire trip were too loud. The back room was pretty quiet & the balcony door was almost soundproof, but not the front. The maid carts rolling on the floor planks & all the doors slamming were so loud. We booked the ocean view balcony room online & it turned out they're all the same view when we got there. It was misleading to get us to spend more. We wanted to ocean view & a king bed, but with the room, they gave us we had to pick either an ocean view or a king bed. It was also misleading to advertise a bathtub in the way that it was. It was so basic that there wasn't a need to list it. They didn't tell us they had switched our rooms & we arrived late. I had to bring it to their attention the next morning. They gave us 4 drink tickets, but I didn't feel that made things right. Also at check-in, they tried to charge $1,8000+ to our card when we had already paid a $650 deposit & our stay was only $1,750 total. I liked that they send you automated texts with all the information you need for your stay. We averaged about 7 texts a day. However, if you respond back to the texts the people are very confused & give you the wrong or unhelpful information. It came in handy for arranging the room being cleaned, but that was about it. If they're going to insist on your cell phone number to be in constant communication during your stay they should do a better job at it. The mini fridge in our room was tiny & only 2 water bottles deep. At check out there was an issue with 1 beer being billed to our room. We told them it wasn't ours. We paid for everything with a card at the time of purchase. We showed them the recipes & they still had to go check with the bar. They called several times to make sure the charge was fair. It went back & forth 5x over 2 days. It's ridiculous for a $13 charge. We said we didn't do it, so take it off the room. You see we didn't charge a single thing to the room during our entire stay. We spent around $2,500 at your resort between activities, food, drinks, souvenirs, etc. & you think we're trying to steal a $13 beer. Then the story changed & you said we ordered fish, but we don't eat fish. At least get your story straight. It didn't make us feel right. read more

This place was just so-so for me and overpriced even for the Keys. I'm particularly fond of the area near the old Seven Mile Bridge and this is within walking distance so that was a plus. The resort itself has some very nice features in the pools, walkways and landscaping. The tree canopies are gorgeous and the layout of the resort is nice and walkable. We stayed in the off-season and at a rate of 700+/night (once resort fees were added) we knew what we signed up for but expected more than a mediocre stay. Add the $28/day for parking and the $15 drinks and it was like adding insult to injury. The room was nothing special and the view for us was actually subpar being that we were overlooking a harbor with an industrial look and a bunch of telephone towers. Most of the staff members here were nice and welcoming. The mercantile is has a great gift shop and nice little cafe. We avoided the restaurant on the grounds but there are plenty of local places eat at and explore. We wouldn't stay here again. read more

We had a beautiful room at Isla Bella Resort with a deck looking over the turquoise water. Our room was quiet and beautiful. I was able to do my morning yoga on the deck and it was incredible! Bed was comfortable. There were five pools to pick from and so it never felt crowded. We did not eat in the main restaurant, Mihana, so cannot comment on the food. Staff was friendly and the Marketplace was really nice and had delicious coffees, pastries, food and goods. We would very much recommend this resort. read more

This hotel has been a horrible experience. The staff are arrogant and rude. We called and made sure we booked a quiet oceanfront room and it has been hell for us. Feet from our room door is the Sushi Bar with loud music, a swimming pool with people yelling, bar music, and tons of children screaming and playing outside our door. We asked to check out a day early and they still insist on making us pay for two days. This has been the most terrible hotel/resort experience in or lives. read more

Beautiful grounds, lovely sunsets, nice rooms in this new, clean and fresh 42 acre resort. Staff is young and eager to please. There is a beach, several pools, spa, gym and several restaurants on premise. There are daily activities for all ages. We really enjoyed our four day escape here. read more

What I order online isn't what you get when you check in. All prices emails sent even same day 2 hr prior to arrival that 3rd floor upgrade is avail. Them we arrived and now not avail someone else already snagged that room, but it gets better. She convinces me to go for a first floor veranda level instead of a rooftop third floor I say OK fine she goes. It's like an upgrade but the same price... well when she's done with computer entering she says oh wait someone already took that room here at front desk... where I'm standing hello! So now we are on second level but could move tomorrow... I'm on vacation what would I unpack 2x. So now we have no roof & nor walk out but charges same price.. and now been waiting for 30 min for bag man... should have just carried your own bags honestly! Tried to say here's 2 free comp coupons for 2 drinks due to issue and I said sweetie every other person in line I've heard the other 3 ladies say here's 2 complimentary drink coupons on us. So I rudely say, everyone get drink vouchers, you're not giving me anything no one else gets I've watched for the past 30 min trying to check in. What a shot show! read more

I was at this resort 2 years ago in 2021. That time I would say was easily 5 stars. Everything was amazing. This time..... completely different! Service was below average. Food was just average. Fees not disclosed ANYWHERE, are loaded on your final bill. For example a destination fee that as I google find out that it is illegal to charge as per the unfair or deceptive trade act. This is the absolute worst resort we ever stayed at. Mind we have stayed at resorts from Dominican Republic to Myrtle Beach. Let's start by talking about how unprofessional their staff was. Other than the young man who greeted us once we first got there, no one spoke to us. The sad part is this happened even when we spoke to them. Secondly, let's talk about the amenities. first disappointment is when we checked and we were told they would be complimentary water given out to guests. Come find out that was just at the time of check-in for the remainder of the day. If you wanted a bottled water you had to pay six dollars. When we got to the room that you paid over $2600 for we didn't expect that the toilet seats going to be broken, the TV has wires hanging from the back of it and the supplies in both bathrooms are not fully stocked. of course with the weather we decided to go to the pool. This was a disappointment. There were about five or six gazebos that were for rent that were never in use. There was no music games or excitement in the pool area. There were no resort activities or shows. it seemed it was just a bunch of sitting at the pool, and if you chose you could pay for overpriced regular food. First night we had burgers and fries for four people and it was $150 not including Tip. With all that said, that was not even the worst of it. After paying over $2600 for a five day stay we were then surprised by an $800 hold that was placed on our card. When we inquired about it we were told that the hold covers the $200 per day per room for incidentals. There also were the $28 a day parking charge and a $45 a day "resort fee" charges, no one said anything about at check in. Our question was why is the resort fee not in the price of the $2600 we paid. We were told that is their policy, and when I asked to see the policy, we were told we can't see the policy, but it's their policy. Needless to say we will never ever stay at this resort again, and will definitely avoid properties owned by the Singh Company. These people are only in the business of making money. The sad part about it all is they'd make a lot more money if they would just invest in a little bit of customer service. The hotel was beautiful , the food and drinks were great. the beach was not good. it looks nice in the pictures but it is full of seaweed and muck. and not able to swim. Spent 4 days there with my spouse and three kids. The resort was lovely but the noise next door was unacceptable. It was 2:00 in the morning. There was shouting, screaming, etc. My entire family was awake. I complained to the front office and they said they would send someone to check on it. At 3:00 I called again. Long story short, it was an awful night and the manager offered to comp me for the night. They didn't. I complained. I gave up. Wish this had ended differently. read more

This resort is a TASTE OF PARADISE! Gorgeous ocean views from every room! Helpful and friendly staff, great restaurant on the ocean, fire pits to enjoy while watching the sunsets each evening! The wonderful manager Justin Nells runs this 5-star resort so graciously and kindly. He always goes out of his way to make each visit here special! We just returned from a fabulous stay, and it was perfect in every way! Garth was our server at dinner who was happy and kind and made our meal special. From our check in with champagne and apple cider served us to the beautiful room and deck with amazing views, our stay was a TASTE OF HEAVEN! Perfect weather each day with ocean breezes was great to enjoy the beach and pools. This is such a relaxing resort that makes you feel you are in Italy on a private, gated Island. Beauty everywhere you look. There is no other place in the Keys as elegant and breath taking as this fine resort. Recent Thanksgiving Holiday visit was disappointing. I requested early arrival, but not available-was willing to pay their $99 fee. My family had to wait 2 hrs. Rooms were great-two beds and two baths. Ideal for a family. Overpriced Thanksgiving spread didn't include house wine as other hotels do. Pools outside each building smart, but NOT THE WATER SPROUTS. Who can swim or relax with that going on?? (Do it at night with lights for effect, duh.) Big family pool very nice, but didn't know there was beverage service, i.e. wine/beer. No one walking around offering. AND the conciege desk was 100 yards away from Reception in the gift shop. Honestly didn't know they had one until the day I left. And offerings WAY overpriced. ($750 for a boat ride; really?) Mahini restaurant very nice and food very good. Not overpriced, and service good. Security bands for access to room and pools didn't work half the time. Others had same problem. Also remote TV control very difficult to operate. Expensive experience with these defects. read more
