But since it's a local store I wanted to pop in to make sure the quality of the items was as good as it looked. GPS was not friendly. It had me doing circles around the place. But when I finally decided to stroll along and see the road side display of a bombshell romper. It was enough to lead me in the store. I was given a friendly welcome. Once I told the woman that I was searching for something for a wedding she set out on finding me the cutest pieces. When you walk out you are guaranteed to have an unique item that someone will be complimenting later. Hours sometime fluctuate - but no worries you can order online. Their items are always super cute and fashionable. The one thing is the old location would have more sales, I feel like and wider variety of clothes. Now it seems to be all higher end fashion, which is great and I'm sure that's what they were going for to begin with. I have come here a couple times to find beautiful dresses for weddings and I actually found one that I love this time for a wedding I have over the summer. The workers are always so kind. It's located along South Dixie Highway, which is known for being Antique Row. It's across the street from Goodwill. Parking options include street parking and the lot behind the store. Keep in mind that unless you come during opening or a non-peak time, it may be difficult to find a parking spot in the lot as there are not a lot of spaces. When I visited the two days I was in Palm Beach area, the shop was packed with people - some looking for deals and others there because the shop was well known for their impressive stock of styles, brands, price points, and items. Despite the shop being busy, they had multiple gals working there that were happy to assist by holding a dressing room for you while you shopped or helping you retrieve a shoe mate for you to try or purchase. The racks are well labeled so you know what to find in the store - very organized despite the impressive amount of stock they have in that one shop. I tried on multiple items before walking away with a striped top with buttons down the side from Hermes and a cardigan by Chanel during both visits. The top was well priced for the brand and the cardigan was brand new with tags. In addition, I saw multiple brands and items there - prices varied based on condition and brand. Some items were tagged in different colors to call out discounts, which was nice. I noticed as well that the gals working there or some of the customers were very kind and either complimented other customers trying things on or offered friendly suggestions. There are multiple rooms in this shop - definitely make sure to block off time to come in and explore all of them. There's an area for shoes, the front is a mix of vintage pieces, and the right room contains more luxury designer pieces such as vintage Versace, Chanel, and Gucci. I found a few items to try on and ended up purchasing a silk-cashmere blend, turtleneck sweater by Chanel from the 90s. Pricing was reasonable for this piece and it was in very good condition for its age. Pricing does vary on the other items I saw and tried on, due to designer, condition, and age. The folks working at the shop were knowledgeable and helpful to everyone. I believe their team would also help you if you're looking for something specific - I overheard one gal helping someone looking for a handbag and she offered to take photos to send to the client over the phone of their current assortment. It turns out Material World has been here long before the Nora District sprang up. Material World is owned by Rachelle Tenace. Although the showroom is small, there is a carefully curated selection of colorful dresses, jewelry, pillows, sandals, hats, scarves, and other unique items from world wide artisans. Rachelle also sells some of her own handmade jewelry. In the back is Rachelle's custom fabric businesses and she purchases her material also mainly from overseas. She sells the fabric to wholesalers who in turn sell to interior designers. Everything in this cute shop is so colorful, bright, and cheerful. Purchases made through Material World help to support struggling artists around the world. I love how you can purchase something for yourself or as a gift and help someone else at the same time.

This little…read morestore must of had a magnet attached to the front door since it miraculously pulled my wife and two other ladies toward the store. The elegantly decorated interior was filled with sun dresses, leisure cover up pants, cute tops along with several purses, belts and hats. There was a small black dog sitting on a couch available for petting which the owner permitted. The ladies were happy browsing for ten minutes.
