I'm a difficult person to impress and Leather Express was able to do so. I knew nothing about this business and was referred by a neighbor who knows a lot about furniture, being a manufacturer's rep. I was referred to Sherri, who is the corporate manager for this location. She educated me about the various types and grades of leather and responded to my numerous idiosyncrasies about how I wanted the sofa/recliner to look. And feel. And how I would be using it m, as well as its location in our home. And ability to have room for our rescue dog who is accustomed to his own "spot" on the sofa. To my surprise we were able to make a decision on our first visit, selecting a three seater with both ends reclining. And the manufacturer offered the option of a heated seat, lumbar and cervical spine controls and a massage feature! While these may seem like overkill and not necessary, for two guys with cervical and lumbar spine challenges and each having had cervical spine surgeries, they have become features we each have used since taking delivery. I already mentioned SHERRI as our own outstanding sales consultant and her associate ESTER was always an asset in Sherri's absence. The delivery was without additional charge, as part of our sale price, and Leather Express uses their own delivery service. MATT was the lead delivery person, assisted by MAC. Matt set up the sofa and provided guidance in its use, which has become easier as we have developed a familiarity with the controls. After 4 weeks our custom ottoman was delivered & put together as scheduled. It is comfortable, has storage, a place for drinks & is on casters so it rolls. This is my mother's second purchase from Leather Express. We bought her first recliner from them 10 yrs ago! After constant use, the old recliner still worked perfectly, but some of the leather had rubbed away on the arms and the back sunk in a bit. We were in the market for a quality leather sectional. We visited no less than 6 furniture stores. We had some deal breakers in mind, but depending on the price, we could reconsider. My husband and I stopped by the store this afternoon with our baby. We're renovating our new house and looking at new furniture for it. The salesman was a very snooty British guy. He came over to us and was explaining the different kinds of sofas. Then he said to us, very disdainfully, "unfortunately for you, the sale ends today." Excuse me? The sale is still going on right? How do you know we aren't ready to purchase, today, a sofa on sale? Well guy - unfortunately for you, you must not care too much about making a commission, because your nasty attitude cost you a sale! Needless to say, we were extremely offended and left shortly thereafter. In the end, I'm glad we left because we realized they're selling an imitation of the Stress Less brand.
