My drivers...

I sent my esotar driver and my friends broken B&W diaphragm dome tweeter cover - I requested them back and received them in worst condition than before... also without my original esotar box that had the model number and serial number on the box... also was double boxes just in case. They used styrofoam peanuts and just put them in a box.... And did not receive my original box back. This is unacceptable, I work in the audio industry myself... This is unfortunate.

Unfortunately, I have very old speakers and one of the terminals on the back of a speaker broke recently and needed to be replaced. I had no idea that this place even existed until I drove by the other day on Nebraska. I brought my speaker in and because there was a lull in the business day, they were able to find the part I needed and slap it together for me while I waited. I know this doesn't happen in every case and I was very lucky and grateful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You don't see very many niche stores anymore, so I was so glad to find Speaker Exchange!

I have a pair of Lambda SB10s which were hand made by a former employee of the Speaker Exchange. They were beautiful until their surround died after more than 15 years. Needless to say the employee no longer exists and the current techs have very poor skills. The glue is everywhere and very sloppy. The surround wobbles and is not even round. The tech also scratched and ruined the stickers on the magnet from using clamps in an equally slipshod manner. And I paid almost $200 for this repair. The speakers are now ruined. Maybe I can throw them in the trunk of something, if it's a dark trunk. Maybe they can fix up some smoky guitar amp driver behind a thick fabric, but if you need a precision repair, look elsewhere. The quality of the repairs match that of the decor. Judge for yourself.

Took them a rarely driven, well maintained, garage kept truck & get it back destroyed inside & out. After all I have invested I have to have another shop fix my stereo, go to a mechanic, detailer for dents & scratches, & buy new interior pcs. It's very clear now that this shop has a lack of knowledge for a build of this caliber. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE DOCTORED PHOTOS THEY POST OF THEIR COMPLETED WORK & THE EMPLOYEE/FAMILY GOOGLE REVIEWS. If you do choose them I highly recommend you DO NOT pay a deposit, get insurance info & only communicate by text/email. Fully inspect your vehicle & do not let Tony distract you from doing so as he will try. He starts to talk about random things or jokes around to take your focus off of your vehicle & uses God as a manipulation tactic. This shop is great at sweeping stuff under the rug, giving excuses, complaining he has no funds to refund/fix what they damage, & Tony blames an employee that he says is a drug addict as the person responsible. If you talk to that employee he claims Tony is responsible. Tony told me if he had the funds he'd refund me in full. I still have not heard the full potential of my build. I just got it back again & it still sounds & looks like an $800 build with more problems. They painted the inner side of my tailgate w/o my permission & drilled random unused holes in my truck bed. I have a 10k watt DC Audio build, 6 batteries, 2 alternators, custom box etc..LED lights are falling off, bubbling vinyl on doors, & more that was to be corrected. He tries to be a good person overall but when stuff goes wrong in his shop & a customer notices he goes into survival mode w/the God talk & lies. I regret paying him the final amount w/o fully inspecting first, my wife gives me heat for it daily. He took advantage of me due to I am very busy with work, tending to my terminally ill father, I live 2hrs away & tired. He called me & told me my truck was finished the 2nd time I dropped it off. He calls me straight to the counter to collect final payment. I paid what I owed him assuming it was complete. When we went to start the truck I found many more issues. I was already aware of the exterior damages from the first time I got the truck from him. He provided $600 towards the detail but after all the multiple trips to his shop is now costing me $1300 to remove dents & scratches. I have pics & videos of before & after of everything. I was EXTREMELY patient & worked with him through the whole process even after he lied to my face more than once. I dropped a lawsuit after we had a convo & he promised me he would fix it all & just bring it back this last time. He fixed what he felt like fixing, swept more under the rug and messed up other stuff & told me I have to bring it back again as it still isn't complete. This last time he had my truck another month, including him asking for 1 more week which I ok'd with a promise it would be fully ready. My $2500 sub amp was blown by his shop. They told me they would replace it with a NEW amp. They tried to be sneaky & replace it with a refurbished amp w/o me knowing. He said they were weeks out on returns. Tony would not provide updates after my multiple requests so I reached out myself. Per my conversations with DC this was not the case. The refurbished amp is installed in my truck w/o me receiving any compensation as I paid for a NEW amp. The amp now has a dent on the corner as if it was dropped. When my amp was blown I asked if both subs still worked, he shrugged his shoulders. On final receipt of truck there are speaker wires heat shrunk together next to the sub amp completely different then before. Only one set of sub wires is hooked to the amp now & I cannot locate any fuses which Tony says are under the hood but he is not responding to advise the exact location. They were in my truck prior to being dropped off to him & are now missing. Seeking full refund!
