Bathrooms available, wheelchair access. Beautiful piece of art, very welcoming to the mass. Very close to the water, sometimes I wonder how was it many years ago, that is one of the reasons why I choose to visit old churches because you can always learn more. The owner of the store waited on me personally, and she was extremely kind, helpful, and very professional. I told her all I was there for was some guitar picks. She was asking which type I wanted. I was a little, oblivious as to how I was supposed to do things, and she came in personally picked them out for me out of the little case which I should've been able to do myself, but didn't realize it. She was very nice and she explained to me some things about how it used to be her father's store until he passed away About four years ago.. I told her I didn't realize he had passed away, but that I had had some long discussions with him about drum symbols. That I thought he was a very nice and knowledgeable man and enjoyed our conversation very much and he educated me as far as drum symbols and other musical instruments were concerned. The owner gave me the guitar picks, and I tried to pay for them, told her that she didn't have to do that, but she insisted. I never have had anybody treat me so kindly in a business like that before. The other employees of the store, were very helpful, knowledgeable, and also educated me on guitars and various types of electric guitars. They had work to do, but they were also taking time out to answer my questions. I really appreciate that.! My time spent, at sound vibrations, was time well spent, conversing and learning from knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly people. They have a lot to offer, and a very good stock of quality products. It had been several years ago, since 2013, but I bought a drum set from them, and they were just as nice and knowledgeable as they were when I walked in there last Thursday. I won't go to another music store in this town. I'm very loyal and when I'm treated nicely and fairly , that is where I will continue to go. Thank you to you all at Sound Vibrations!

Cemeteries are always a huge draw for me, especially ones of historical significance. It is my…read moreunderstanding General Zachary Taylor had a huge role in establishing this cemetery. (He needed a place to bury his men.) Of course I had a field day in walking the sacred grounds. There were at least six, possibly more, historical markers. The area is rather small, compared to other cemeteries, and can be easily traversed in several hours. I was able to work the Find A Grave phone app while I was there. (Added pictures and GPS coordinates.) I could have very easily spent more hours here. Will definitely come back the next time I'm in town. Check it out...you won't regret it.

Messiah Lutheran Church has been a life changer for me. I have been Lutheran all my life but went…read morethrough a period of neglect of my Christian faith, that is until I was invited to join a group forming a new church in Calallen. Having gone through personal struggles including an uncommon sense of timidity and fear of crowds, this church and it's members through the years have helped to slowly peal away the many layers of anxiety and fear. This is of course the work of the Holy Spirit. The confidence gained in the Lord has led me to remarkable experiences at Messiah Lutheran Church. Struggling with personal issues is nothing more than Satan trying to discourage us away from God's desires in and for our lives. Yes they are real and yes they can be overcome. Praise and thanks to God for helping me. I see in some reviews, discontents that go back many many years and still they have not in recent years shown up to see what's going on now. Dwelling on past experiences might not be fair to the accused nor to the accuser, many things have changed in 40+ years, I sure have. Perceptions of circumstances are most likely only from one point of view and may not necessarily reflect the whole picture. We really need to be careful in our accusations, God knows the truth about every situation and He will judge. Dwelling on negative things of the past just saps your energy and robs you of the positive hope and joy in God's forgiveness and comfort. The congregation now is not the congregation of 40 years ago. I need not defend either, these are God's people and my brothers and sisters in Christ. Pastors come and go as God calls them elsewhere to minister, that is a fact of life and so is the fact that people come and go, some move away, some die, those left are my church family. We now have a settled permanent Pastor that is doing great things in our congregation, offering God's forgiveness, hope and comfort, come and see and hear the Good News of Christ Jesus, crucified and risen for the forgiveness of our sins! We are open every Sunday morning for worship at 9:30AM. Peace be yours through Jesus Christ our Lord!

Thought the Stars on the Walk of Fame were very well done. They led to other businesses on the same block, such as the Visitor's Center. If you head to the bakery and walk out the back door, you won't have any problem finding it. There were a few names I recognized but appreciated all the names displayed.
