My lady friend and I walked around and through the park in a leisurely fashion. The bright sun reflected off the lake in blinding but welcoming fashion. As we walked, a flock of geese, majestically landed in virtual unison. We returned to the car carefully avoiding the little "gifts' left on the ground by the feathered flock.

Friends told us it gets a lot more crowded when the concert is packed. Explored the stream, played on the playground and had a game in the field as well. Good drainage after recent rains. Bumped into other friends who happened to be there for the concert. After group activities, went to check out the concert and noticed the public bathrooms and tennis courts adjacent to the amphitheater area. It would be super fun to play tennis with the music going. Found a robust black cherry tree and some other cool species thriving in the park. Look forward to returning.

He was waiting for me when I arrived, took me to all 16, staying at each one long enough for me to get some amazing shots while engaging in lively and knowledgeable conversation. My daughter and I were comfortable and felt safe even when the weather changed. It was a truly enjoyable trip. Steve even provided sandwiches.
