They also offer fresh smoothies, baked goods, and coffee, all made with care and quality ingredients. The service was warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind--something that really stood out. You cross an amazing little suspension bridge over the Skykomish River, and there stands The River House Cafe. A charming spot that caters to rafters, adventures, and diners alike. The salmon burger was pretty good, but the atmosphere of being surrounded by the Cascades--Mt Index is just a few miles away-- and the rushing Skykomish river just beyond the Cafe's deck was delightful. It was one of the most comfortable calming coffee shops I've ever been in, and I have been in a lot across the country.
