We started our morning with fresh, home-cooked breakfast: fluffy waffles, rich biscuits and gravy, and a cinnamon roll that easily ranks among the best we've ever had. They also offer fresh smoothies, baked goods, and coffee, all made with care and quality ingredients. The service was warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind--something that really stood out. We had planned to return for dinner, but ended up taking a different route home. Still, Moe's left such a great impression that we'd absolutely make a point to stop again next time we're in the area. You cross an amazing little suspension bridge over the Skykomish River, and there stands The River House Cafe. A charming spot that caters to rafters, adventures, and diners alike. The salmon burger was pretty good, but the atmosphere of being surrounded by the Cascades--Mt Index is just a few miles away-- and the rushing Skykomish river just beyond the Cafe's deck was delightful.
